Ireland: Boy hospitalised after brutal stabbing (VIDEO)

A boy was hospitalised in Ireland last night after a brutal stabbing. Video of the attack has been circulating online.

The incident took place at approximately 10:25 last night in the Waterpark area of Carrigaline, in County Cork. The boy was apparently out with friends in a park when another group of people tried to steal his mobile phone. A fight ensued, and the boy was injured with a broken bottle, according to a report by The Irish Times.

Neither the assailant’s nor the victim’s identifies have been established, but reports say that the victim is 17 and the attacker was a boy in his teens.

In the video, a man of a dark complexion can be seen stabbing the light-skinned boy several times. The boy is already bleeding and lying motionless on the ground. The attacker finally stops stabbing at the urging of bystanders. The boy appears to be severely injured.

A young black man can also be seen briefly at the beginning of the video, but since it is daylight in the shot it couldn’t have been taken at the same time as the attack. Therefore it is not known if the man seen in the shot was involved in the incident.

Ten police units were despatched to the scene and personnel from the Armed Support Unit rushed to the scene, and the boy was given First Aid. Police reports say that the boy was then taken by ambulance to Cork University Hospital, where he underwent surgery for multiple stab wounds. As of this morning he was in stable condition.

The Gardaí, the Irish police, arrested four teenagers. Three were released without being charged, but the fourth, another boy in his teens, is being held at the police station in Cork for questioning.

The Gardaí have said that an investigation into the attack is underway. The scene of the attack was cordoned off and a forensics unit undertook an examination of the area. They also confiscated a broken bottle which is believed to have been the one used in the attack.

Police have also asked for any witnesses to the attack or with any other relevant information to contact them as part of their investigation. They specified that anyone with video footage of the incident should make it available to officers. Anyone who can help is being asked to contact Togher Garda Station at 021 4947120, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

Crime has been rising significantly in Ireland in recent years. in April, a man of Middle Eastern descent was charged in the murder of an Irish student, as previously reported by Voice of Europe.

WATCH: Bloody clashes between North Africans in South Tyrol

Foto: UT24

Last Thursday, in broad daylight on the Waltherplatz square in Bolzano, a loud argument broke out between a group of North Africans. This is what the Freedom Party General Secretary Otto Mahlknecht, who has his lawyer’s office close by, has to say on the matter.

“Incidents such as this are now commonplace. The whole area around the train station in Bolzano, right up to the theatre and the parish square, is becoming increasingly neglected. Foreigner violence, dirt and drug trafficking are spreading. Criminal immigrants should be arrested and locked up until their countries of origin take them back”, demands Otto Mahlknecht, Secretary General of the South Tyrolean Freedom Party.

“States that do not cooperate in repatriation should be removed from development aid and the free movement of capital. If the emigrants’ remittances via Western Union no longer work, this is probably the only measure that will make an impact on these states. Such measures, however, can only be taken at state and European level, and as long as people like Merkel & Co. are in charge there, the peoples of Europe must continue to suffer the disastrous effects of a misguided immigration policy. Everything must be done at local level to deal with the situation: a police patrol should be present around the clock in the station park, the parish square and the theatre to ensure law and order; there seems to be no other way. If necessary, these criminals must be arrested every day. All in all: No more Mr. Nice Guy! Zero tolerance for criminal immigrants.

Kneeling for George Floyd is grotesque Western infantility

by Giulio Meotti

Kneeling is a central rite in Western culture. Kneeling for George Floyd is the expression of a grotesque Western infantility. There, I said it, although I know that those who do not kneel are considered amoral monsters these days. Everyone kneels, the prime ministers, the journalists, the parliamentarians, the police…

When Londoners protested the Minneapolis incident, police guarding the Downing Street gates were told to “get down on their knees.” Four policemen did it. Thousands of people in Britain went out on the streets, falling on their knees, as if hallucinating.

It is acceding to the claim that Western society as a whole is racist. It is a form of ideological hysteria that makes those who kneel belong to the “right side”. In several videos, we have even seen American whites kissing the shoes of their black compatriots to apologize.

“Are you white? Feel guilty, you also killed George Floyd”. Being white has become a kind of original sin. If you do not do penance for being white, paying homage to mass immigration and multiculturalism, you will become a “white supremacist”. The archbishop of Canterbury called on “white Christians” to “repent of our own prejudices”. Time magazine: “Whites have inherited their white supremacy”. Inherited!

American universities are full of courses on “white privilege” and if you look at academic calendars in France, there are conferences “forbidden to whites”. In Paris you are not trendy enough if you don’t write about la blanchité. At each massacre where the murderer is white, the global collective ritual of penance begins.

Utoya? White man. Christchurch? White man. Blacks that kill blacks? Not on the news. Muslims who kill Jews and Christians? Not on the news. Christians who kill Muslims? First pages. The white trade of black slaves? Everywhere. The Arab-Islamic trafficking of black slaves? Taboo.

The whole past is projected onto the current generation, colonialism, crusades, birth of America, Nazism, slavery, everything ends up in the same historical kneeler, everything is traced back to your white genes .

There is no aperitif – even that does not end without the great new truth echoing: White man is evil, by definition.

Germany: Migrants and foreign corona patients are flown in, sick Germans are not

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas has always set anti-German priorities. This irresponsible behaviour is now once again becoming apparent.

For while Germany has cared for more than 200 foreign Corona patients free of charge (i.e. to the detriment of the German taxpayer), the Foreign Minister is playing the tough guy with the sick Germans who are abroad.

The Social Democratic comrade has now announced that the federal government will not transport back corona-infected vacationers to Germany this summer. “In any case, anyone who becomes infected on vacation cannot assume that we will bring them back to Germany”, Maas told the newspaper “Bild am Sonntag”. He continued: “Of course, in acute emergencies our foreign missions are always ready to provide consular support. But: “The Federal Government will not be able to send planes again this summer to bring German tourists home.” On Wednesday, Maas announced a gradual lifting of the travel warnings. In an interview with the newspaper “Bild am Sonntag”, Maas said that the travel warnings would be limited to EU countries.

They want to be sure “that our citizens, when they travel, are as safe as possible with regard to the spread of the virus”. The Foreign Minister has not specified when the travel warning will also be lifted for countries outside the EU, such as Turkey. “There are talks with the Turkish government. We will not maintain the travel warning permanently”, said Maas. However, when the time will come will depend on how the pandemic develops.Maas warned that he will issue new travel warnings against these holiday destinations very quickly if corona protection measures are violated: “The distance and hygiene rules also apply to the hotspots. If they are not observed, travel warnings can turn into travel warnings again.”

In this context it is also noteworthy that more than 15,000 migrants have entered Germany by plane to date. The expenses do not matter, they are not Germans after all.

Manhattan DA Won’t Prosecute Curfew Violators, Urges More Protests

New York City authorities have hit upon a brilliant strategy, one that Neville Chamberlain would certainly approve of.

Give the rioters and protesters everything they want while looking the other way as they trash the city. Appeasing mobs and dictators doesn’t work out very well for the appeasers. But those who are being appeased make out like bandits — literally.

The Manhattan District Attorney didn’t exactly get on his knees and grovel to the mob. But his stomach-turning statement on why he wasn’t going to prosecute curfew violators should make decent, law-abiding people turn away in disgust.

Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance, Jr. today announced the D.A.’s Office’s policy regarding arrests on charges of Unlawful Assembly and Disorderly Conduct during ongoing demonstrations against the use of excessive force and killing of George Floyd. Previously, the D.A.’s Office’s policy was to offer individuals charged with these low-level offenses an Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal, meaning their cases would be dismissed within six months. Under the new policy, the D.A.’s Office declines to prosecute these arrests in the interest of justice. The Office will also continue to evaluate and decline to prosecute other protest-related charges where appropriate.

“The prosecution of protestors charged with these low-level offenses undermines critical bonds between law enforcement and the communities we serve. Days after the killing of George Floyd, our nation and our city are at a crossroads in our continuing endeavor to confront racism and systemic injustice wherever it exists. Our office has a moral imperative to enact public policies which assure all New Yorkers that in our justice system and our society, black lives matter and police violence is a crime. We commend the thousands of our fellow New Yorkers who have peacefully assembled to demand these achievable aims, and our door is open to any New Yorker who wishes to be heard.”

I get an image of Neville Chamberlain waving a piece of paper in the air and proclaiming “peace in our time.”

Not prosecuting curfew scofflaws and disorderly protesters will lead to more of the same. And if the district attorney won’t stand up and enforce the law, who will?

A curfew is not a suggestion — like when your parents used to tell you to be home by midnight. It’s the law. It’s critical in order to keep the city from going up in flames that protesters understand that actions have consequences — even minor actions like breaking a curfew.

But Vance defeats the entire purpose of imposing a curfew in the first place.

The D.A.’s Office’s policy is designed to minimize unnecessary interactions with the criminal justice system, reduce racial disparities and collateral consequences in low-level offense prosecutions, and enable the Office and court system to preserve resources for the prosecution of serious crimes. If evidence emerges that any individuals personally participated in violence against police officers, destruction, or looting, such individuals will be charged with appropriate crimes.

In this case, it’s vitally necessary to give the curfew violators a “necessary interaction” with the criminal justice system. It’s called a deterrent. Police are a deterrent to violence. An armored car is usually a wonderful deterrent to violence.

Authorities are not dealing with rational, logical thinking. They are dealing with a mob, with mob psychology that is the closest humans get to exhibiting basic animal instincts. Without deterrence, you have chaos. With chaos comes destruction and death.

If authorities want to pull the police back and allow the protesters and rioters to have their way, New York will be a smoking ruin in 48 hours. So the terrified mayor allows the police to try and keep order but then criticizes them for doing so. And the prosecutor decries “police violence” and releases lawbreakers without a by-your-leave from the police.

Cops can’t arrest people if they’re not going to be prosecuted. What’s the point? It’s a wasted effort unless those who break the law and threaten the peace are given a reason not to do so.

This photograph is of a shipment of bricks placed in a square in advance of a planned riot in Düsseldorf planned for TODAY

The conversation between someone who had to work in the area and security personnel went like this:

“a woman dropped off a relative for a first aid course at the Main Train Station in Düsseldorf:

‘We got there a little earlier to check out the scene in front of the main entrance. Lo and behold, the brick fairy had been there. We took pictures of the nice pile of bricks from the conveniently timed “construction”.I asked the First Aid instructor what security measures he would be taking for the demonstration today. He responded with,What demonstration?’. He was uniformed and disinterested. His response was,‘Let them demonstrate’.I asked the barista at Starbucks if he knew about the BLM demonstration at 2pm? Nope.I went up to a police officer. He was the only one that knew about it. I saw several police patrolling already at 8:30 in the morning. My conversation with the police officer was interesting. I told him [my young relative] was taking a First Aid course today until 4pm. I asked if he knew when the demonstration would be over and what area would be blocked off.He said he wasn’t psychic and it all depended on the demonstrators.I asked him about whether the demonstration was registered and if there wasn’t a specific time period for demonstration to end.Same answer.I told him my [spouse] would be picking my [young relative] up and asked if he could tell me which street would be blocked off.He couldn’t (wouldn’t) tell me and suggested my [relative] take the public transport home or that we pick them up somewhere else in the city.I asked if the demonstration will only take place in front of the train station. He said that depended on the demonstrators.I asked if the police wouldn’t make sure they don’t leave the area.He said that the police wouldn’t contain them because that might provoke a violent reaction.I mentioned the pile of bricks. He said the police assume that it will be a “peaceful” demonstration.I retorted with, ‘like in the U.S.? Eleven people died.’He repeated, ‘We assume it will be peaceful.’I asked, “If it isn’t, will the police stop it?”He said, “Then there will be ugly pictures on the news tonight.”

Trump rightly cuts Germany troop levels, but should redeploy some forces to Poland

President Trump is right to reduce the U.S. military force strength in Germany. But he should now redeploy some of those forces to establish a permanent base in Poland.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump’s order will reduce the total U.S. deployed strength in Germany from 34,500 to 25,000 personnel. It would also cap the total number of personnel in Germany at 25,000.

This is welcome news. Berlin remains an American ally, but it is one that is unwilling to shoulder its fair defense burden under NATO. The alliance, which remains a critical mechanism of Western security and prosperity (including American interests), expects all member states to spend at least 2% of GDP on defense each year. But in 2019, Germany only spent 1.36% of GDP on defense and less than the 20%-of-total-defense-budget target for equipment spending.

While Germany is increasing defense spending, it is doing so far too slowly. An earlier commitment to meet the 2% target by 2024 has been squashed, with Berlin now saying that it won’t meet that target until 2031 at the earliest.

This is ridiculous for four reasons.

First, it undermines the core NATO principle that allies will share the burden of defending their common interests. Second, Germany is the de facto leader of the European Union and thus should be setting an example in defending Europe’s security. Third, Germany has Europe’s largest economy and can easily afford to meet its 2% target. Fourth, the German military is in desperate need of funding.

But Germany’s record is even worse than this.

Not only does Chancellor Angela Merkel refuse to invest in the armed forces, but she rarely allows the military to deter the alliance’s primary threat actor, Russia. While a German warship is currently involved in a NATO exercise in the Baltic Sea, that’s a rare exception to the rule. From the Barents Sea to the Black Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, it is often America and Britain alone leading NATO’s defense. That solitary expression of the alliance’s security interests is incompatible with Russia’s rising threat to NATO’s southern flank.

Some say that it’s unfair to criticize Germany in this manner. They point to Berlin’s significant aid and diplomatic activity in support of the liberal international order. But while those activities are positive, they miss two exigent points.

First, a significant reason Germany is so reluctant to invest in its own defense is that its leaders fear aggravating Russia. This is largely down to Germany’s willful energy dependence on Moscow — a dynamic that reflects the extraordinary shortsightedness of successive German governments, empowering Russian President Vladimir Putin’s energy blackmail of the European periphery. In addition, the we-support-NATO-with-diplomacy argument would have a lot more viability if German aid convoys could obstruct Russian tank and airborne offensives. But they can’t. NATO needs capabilities that can stop invading forces and penetrate area denial strongholds.

That brings us to Poland. While Germany skimps on defense, Poland does quite the opposite. Though far less wealthy than Germany and many other NATO members, Poland meets both the 2% GDP defense spending target and the 20% equipment share target. Warsaw has also shown repeated willingness to deploy its forces on combat operations alongside American units. Deeply pro-American and resolute in the face of Russian intimidation, Poland is an ally to celebrate.

Moreover, Warsaw is desperate for a permanent American military presence on its soil, even offering to pay a significant part of the establishment and operational costs that would be entailed.

Trump can now offer that presence with some of the forces being pulled from Germany. Doing so would put American forces in a better position to defend the Baltics and Poland in the event of a Russian invasion. But it would also show that America values friends that are willing to stand alongside us rather than behind us.

Trump’s undermining of the alliance’s Article 5 mutual defense stipulations is highly ill-judged. Still, he deserves credit for pushing NATO to increase spending. Moving forces from Germany to Poland would send a valuable message to Moscow — and a valuable message to our NATO allies.
