Religious delusion: Muslim freaks out in Lenzing, Austria

Armed with a knife and the Koran, a “Russian” (21 years old) attacked a family and two uninvolved people in Lenzing, Austria. He allegedly had been under religious delusion and was arrested in his parents’ house after his escape. “I’ll kill everyone,” shouted the “Russian”, with knife and Koran in his hand, in front of the apartment of a Kosovar family. When the mother opened, she could barely get to safety, slamming the door in his face. The religious fanatic struck against it and yelled so loudly that the 37-year-old woman collapsed in fear. But the Muslim’s rampage had not ended. He also knocked down an acquaintance (24 years old) because he “looked badly upon  him” and threatened another witness with murder. The devout Muslim has been arrested.

A daredevil and life-threatening action by a 38-year-old African from Gersfeld ended unscathed the day before yesterday at noon. The man, an Eritrean asylum seeker, was standing on the tracks of the Fulda-Gersfeld (Rhön) railway line near Hettenhausen. When the driver of an approaching train spotted the person, he immediately applied an emergency brake and stopped just in front of the man. Fortunately, nobody was injured. The passengers on the train also got away with a shock.Officers of the Fulda federal police station took the man, who seemed somewhat disoriented, into custody. In addition, the Eritrean was obviously under the influence of alcohol. A breath alcohol test could not be carried out because of his state of health. The Federal Police instructed the man and then brought him out of the danger zone. Two subsequent trains were delayed by about half an hour due to the incident. The Federal Police Station Kassel has initiated criminal proceedings against the man on suspicion of a “dangerous interference with rail traffic”.

German soccer fans are not allowed to enter a Turkish soccer stadium because there are Christian symbols in the emblem of their soccer club.

Policemen with machine guns, water cannons at the roadside – Borussia Mönchengladbach  fans were horrified when they arrived at the Basaksehir stadium. Bad-tempered and aggressive, the policemen welcomed the 1400 soccer fans to the Europa League match in Istanbul. What happened at the entrance was regarded by many as pure harassment. Especially ridiculous: flags with the Mönchengladbach city coat of arms were not allowed at the stadium. It shows the Holy Vitus – forbidden because it is a Christian symbol, according to the police. On Friday even Mönchengladbach’s Lord Mayor Hans Wilhelm Reiners intervened. What happened was “unacceptable”. He demanded “that UEFA, as the organiser of the Euro League, should not accept this unchallenged and that the host club should also distance itself from such action”. Meanwhile, UEFA wants to await the official match report. Gladbach’s managing director, Stephan Schippers, was also extremely annoyed by the way they treated the German fans: “The behaviour towards our fans was unimaginably disrespectful.”His manager Max Eberl even used the term “police dictatorship”. “It saddens me that we have such conditions in Europe in 2019,” he said. “Our fans wanted to celebrate peacefully,” And then they are harassed right from the start, have to travel by bus and are not allowed to move to the stadium like normal people.”

Asylum seeker is only 24 hours in Germany and already commits his first crime

Last late Sunday evening, police arrested a young man (15 years old) on Komödienstraße in the downtown area of Cologne. According to previous findings, the 15-year-old had robbed a man from Cologne (25 years old) with the collaboration of an unknown accomplice. Only one day before, officers of the police station in the Kalk district of Cologne had already met the minor when he visited the office in order to apply for asylum following his entry into Germany. Shortly before 9 p.m., the robbed man from Cologne contacted the police on Sunday and stated that he had just been attacked by two perpetrators. He had been following one of the attackers and had  detained him until the police arrived. The duo is said to have pressed the victim into an archway at a brewery on the station forecourt and snatched his wallet out of his trouser pocket. The policemen discovered the still full of money purse near the crime scene, as well as a pocket knife, which apparently belongs to the 15-year-old. In the meantime, the officers brought the juvenile before a magistrate. The judge sent the accused to custody.

Germany: One dead in a clash between Turks

In the early hours of this morning a dispute escalated in Hamburg District of Wilhelmsburg. The homicide department is investigating that a man suffered fatal injuries. According to the initial findings, a verbal dispute arose on the street for reasons that had not yet been clarified, during the course of which a skirmish then began. In the end, a 47-year-old Turk from Wilhelmsburg and his son, a 23-year-old German Turk, as well as a 54-year-old German Turk from the state of Schleswig-Holstein were involved. The men apparently used a knife and an iron rod against each other. In the end, the 47-year-old suffered several stab wounds to his upper body. He was admitted to a hospital under resuscitation conditions, but died there from serious injuries. His son suffered injuries to his hands, apparently also from an attack with a knife. He was also sent to hospital. Apparently an iron bar had been used against the opponent. The man suffered head injuries and a foot fracture and was also hospitalized. Officials of the homicide department (LKA 41) have taken over the investigation. No further information on the background to the disputes and the exact course of the crime can be provided at this time. The investigators currently assume, however, that the persons in question knew each other. In particular against the 54 year old man they examine now a charge before the magistrate. Witnesses, who observed the crime, are asked to report by calling 040/4286-56789 to the Hamburg police or to any police station.
