Three wounded in stabbing in The Hague

Dutch police said on Friday that three people had been wounded in a stabbing on a shopping street in The Hague.

First responders from the city’s emergency services unit rushed to the scene.

The incident reportedly occurred in a department store in the city’s main shopping street, Grote Marktstraat, which was busy with people looking for Black Friday deals.

Police are searching for a male perpetrator aged between 45 and 50 who was wearing a shawl and a grey tracksuit. The knife used by the attacker has reportedly been located.

The condition of those injured and the motive for the attack remain unclear. A spokesperson said it was not clear whether the stabbing was a terrorist incident.

The incident in The Hague came hours after two people were killed in a terrorist stabbing attack at London Bridge.

Officers who were called to the scene shot and killed the suspect at the scene. Londoners disarmed the knife-wielding attacker before police showed up.

Last year, two people were stabbed in the main railway station in Amsterdam in what local authorities said was a terrorist attack.

Another Stabbing on London Bridge – 2 Dead

British police shot and killed a terror attacker Friday on the London Bridge — a harrowing incident that left at least one innocent person dead and several others injured around the key thoroughfare that had been the site of a deadly Islamist attack just over two years ago. Two members of the public, separate from the attacker, were killed in the assault, the BBC reported citing government sources. At least five people were injured in the incident, although it was unclear what the injuries were and how many may have been caused by the terrorist. Scotland Yard earlier said first responders raced to “a stabbing at premises near to London Bridge” just before 2 p.m. local time. One of the injured could be seen being held by police after the attack, while the outlet had reported two others were in serious condition.Initial reports suggested the suspect was wearing a suicide vest, however, it was later believed to be a hoax device, Commissioner Neil Basu said during a news conference. The area remained sealed by police for safety reasons. “Due to reports that the suspect may have had an explosive device, specialist offices also attended the scene and wide cordons are in place to ensure there remains no further danger to the public,” Basu said. “However, I can confirm at this time, we believe a device that was strapped to the body of the suspect is a hoax explosive device. Officers continue to carry out meticulous searches in the area to ensure there is no outstanding threat to the public.” The lockdown and fears of an explosive device caused a mass panic with those nearby running or searching for shelter. “I was shopping in the area when they started to cordon it off. There was panic in the market and people started running. I saw two people fall over,” a woman identified as Jo, from East London, told the Guardian. “I was walking down a side street trying to leave the area when all of a sudden people started running. The police then told people to get inside, so we sheltered in Le Pain Quotidien. They locked the doors and moved people away from the glass. The police has just let us leave.”Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he was “being kept updated on the incident at London Bridge and want to thank the police and all emergency services for their immediate response.” He added that the incident has been contained to the best of his knowledge. “To the best of our knowledge the incident has been contained,” he said. “But I would urge everybody, of course, to be to be vigilant and one cannot help but think back to what happened in 2017 in the same part of the city, and I hope very much that people will be able, as fast as possible to go about their normal business.” Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn thanked police and emergency services for their response during the crisis. “Shocking reports from London Bridge. My thoughts are with those caught up in the incident. Thank you to the police and emergency services who are responding,” he said. Corbyn said they were suspending campaigning tonight in London to show respect for those impacted in the attack. National Rail announced that the London Bridge station has now reopened after closing earlier in the day.The London Bridge area was the scene of a terrorist melee on June 3, 2017. Islamic terrorists used a dual vehicle ramming and stabbing attack. Eight civilians died and four police officers were injured in the assault. All three terrorists were also killed. The incident also comes as the national terrorist level was lowered from “severe” to “substantial” this month, according to the Guardian. In 2017, following a New York City explosion that injured 29, London Mayor Sadiq Khan announced that terror attacks were “part and parcel of life in a big city.” “It is a reality I’m afraid that London, New York, other major cities around the world have got to be prepared for these sorts of things,” he added. Khan also released a statement on Friday regarding the London Bridge incident.Around the same time as Friday’s incident was occurring, intelligence sources told Fox News that ISIS propagandists distributed a set of images that purportedly documented ISIS supporters in Azerbaijan pledging allegiance to the group’s new “caliph” in hiding. It is likely the images are stills from a video produced by that group of ISIS supporters. The photos appeared to be attributed to an ISIS media office in Azerbaijan, suggesting the group is conveying to members and supporters it has established a new “province” in the country. It wasn’t immediately clear if the London Bridge attack on Friday was carried out by someone in the name of the shrinking terror outfit. Boris Johnson said the terrorist investigation is ongoing when speaking at Downing Street on Friday. “Anyone involved in this crime and these attacks will be hunted down and will be brought to justice,” he said. “[The UK will] never be cowed or divided or intimidated by this sort of attack and our British values will prevail.”

Because of Muslims: Advent wreath blessing banished from Austrian elementary school

The annual Advent wreath blessing was “banished” from the Sattledt elementary school to the local parish church. Reason: Apparently one does not want to have the Advent wreath blessing any more in the school, “so that the Muslim children are not disturbed”. A few days before the First Sunday in Advent there is lots of turmoil in the tranquil community of Sattledt in Upper Austria. The school management of the elementary school Sattledt has moved the traditional Advent wreath blessing in the school hall to the parish hall. The Muslim pupils should not be disturbed by the wreath blessing, a retired religion teacher reported to angry parents, who now exclusively informed the weekly “Wochenblick”. The teacher could not understand the reason at all. From his own experience, the retired teacher knew that the Muslim children never felt disturbed by it. So far, the pupils have been asked “whether they would like to take part or not, as at school services”. For those who did not want to be there, supervision was set up. He positively mentioned the Muslim religion teacher of the elementary school. The Freedom Party’s council member Benjamin Haim is horrified by the situation: “To expel the Advent wreath blessing from the school auditorium is the completely wrong way and absolutely unacceptable. It would be better to celebrate Christian festivals together in order to bring our beautiful, native culture and identity closer to the Muslim children. After all, we live in Austria! The school management was not available for a statement to the weekly Wochenblick. A representative, however, confirmed that the wreath blessing would not take place in the school auditorium this year.

Germany: Syrian known to police raped woman almost in the presence of the police

On Wednesday, a woman was raped in a car in Essen by a suspected Syrian refugee. A randomly passing police car arrested the man. “When a patrol car accidentally drove past the parked car, the victim used the opportunity. The woman (31 years old) jumped out of the car into the street, asked the police for help,” reports the Bild newspaper about the incident on Wednesday night, which is not yet recorded in the Essen police report. The woman told the police that she had just been raped by the Syrian. The officers then arrested the suspected rapist (35 years old) in the car. He is a refugee from Syria known to the police. The open question is who owns the car and how the woman or the Syrian got into it.

Austria: Afghan stabs five-time mother to death

The series of murders of wives doesn’t end. Recently it was even published by the Ministry of the Interior that 50 percent of the perpetrators, also known as “honour killers”, are aliens, many others have a migration background. In the Vienna district of Favoriten, a five-time mother had to die. What she so infuriated her 60-year-old Afghan husband with has not yet been clarified. In many cases it is the wish of the women to part with their violent partners. In some cultures this is a condemnation to death that cannot be averted by integration training. On Wednesday evening, shortly after 6 p.m., a family dispute escalated. In the street Katharinengasse in Vienna’s Favoriten multicultural district, a 60-year-old Afghan stabbed his 50-year-old wife so often that she died of her injuries. Four of the woman’s five children had to witness the crime.A daughter is said to have cryingly alarmed the neighbours, who immediately called the police. While the Ministry of the Interior has admitted that 50 percent of the murderers of women in Austria are foreigners, they still persistently refuse to recognize the cultural backgrounds as possible motives for their actions. People prefer to believe psychological lectures on difficult separation situations. Mainstream media also raised the intellectually simple question of whether the weapons law should be tightened due to the many knife murders.Because the weapons of crime are mostly kitchen knives ready to hand, are cooks in Austria supposed to mash their dishes with a fork in the future? The newspaper Österreich also reports that according to the Ministry of the Interior there will be more mandatory anti-aggression training courses in the future. The heinous double murder of Wullowitz in Upper Austria was carried out by an Afghan who had undergone such anti-aggression training. It has not yet been scientifically proven that these training courses have a greater benefit than the transfer of taxpayers’ money to NGOs.
