It’s happening again. The left is out of arguments against President Trump so now it’s recycling old ones.

In an anonymously sourced article, the New York Times reports that President Trump and his lieutenants knew all about a Russian bounty placed on the heads of American soldiers in Afghanistan. This, while Trump knew all about it and still was inviting Russia’s President Vladimir Putin to a G-7 and otherwise making nice with him. The idea was to make Trump appear indifferent to American lives on the front lines in the name of cozying up to Putin.

WASHINGTON — American intelligence officials have concluded that a Russian military intelligence unit secretly offered bounties to Taliban-linked militants for killing coalition forces in Afghanistan — including targeting American troops — amid the peace talks to end the long-running war there, according to officials briefed on the matter.

Just one problem: It wasn’t true. And former acting Director of National Intelligence, Richard Grenell, has come out swinging, taking on far-left Rep. Ted Lieu, who bought into it hook, line and sinker.

Grenell, who’s out of public office now but served as Trump’s acting National Intelligence Director, would be in a position to know. His willingness to open the doors to transparency on the deep state’s doings, enhances his credibility further. The fact that he was there, just there, when the Times’ deep state throat  was speaking enhances further. And lastly, the fact that he owes Trump nothing and can do what he likes makes his smackdown most credible of all.

The Russkis, for what it’s worth, have denied the bounty-hunting charge as well. While no one should put it past them, they more credibly say that the U.S. intelligence community (which hates Trump) is up to gamy doings. Maybe yes, maybe no, it certainly adds another dimension. In any cs, what they say is irrelevant because Grenell’s argument is the strongest. The left is just trying to paint the Russia target on Trump again, given that it has nothing left to attack him with. Now they can’t find a single official to go on the record to call the latest claim true. Not even John Bolton, and rest assured, they would have tried. Call it what it is: Pathetic.

The Scottish government has told the British Home Office that it wants a “thorough investigation” to be launched into the treatment of asylum seekers in Glasgow, following a stabbing incident that left six wounded.

The attacker was a Sudanese man who was shot dead by police. Now claims have emerged that staff at the Park Inn hotel, where around 380 asylum seekers are being held, already knew that the stabber should be closely monitored due to mental health concerns.

The Guardian reports that refugee homelessness charity Positive Action in Housing is calling for an independent investigation into conditions for refugees, who have apparently been regularly complaining about “the quality of food provided, difficulties with physical distancing and hygiene in communal areas, and a lack of cash that makes it impossible to buy mobile phone top-ups to keep in touch with lawyers and family.”

Staff working at other locations where refugees are being housed have reportedly also expressed concern and two sites have stepped up their security precautions in the wake of recent events.

She had disappeared without trace for days! But now the terrible suspicion is confirmed that the 31-year-old Bircan D.-Ü. in Imst in Tyrol was suffocated by her husband and thrown into the river Inn. The body of the young mother has not yet been discovered. The suspected perpetrator was arrested on Saturday – according to the police, he has now confessed to the crime.All night from Saturday to Sunday the Turkish-born murder suspect was under interrogation by the Tyrolean criminologists. Bit by bit the man revealed what had happened. According to initial information, the perpetrator had attacked the young woman – presumably out of raging jealousy – and strangled her to death.

Bircan D.-Ü. was last seen on Thursday morning near the common residence on the street Eichenweg in Imst. Since then the 31-year-old has been considered to have disappeared without a trace. Several searches remained in vain. According to the Tyrolean State Office of Criminal Investigation, “messages had been sent from her mobile phone to family members indicating that her husband was now to look after their son”.After the Tyrolean police had started intensive investigations, the pressure became too much for the husband on Saturday evening. “The 33-year-old suspect confessed to killing his wife. According to his statement, there was a violent argument between the couple, which escalated to such an extent that he choked his wife and suffocated her with a pillow,” the investigators said. He then threw the body into the river Inn.The mobile phone messages that had been sent to the woman’s family members were apparently written by the suspect. “The messages were written to divert suspicion towards the suicide of his wife.”In the course of the arrest on Saturday evening, a massive police operation took place in Imst because about 150 people – family members and onlookers – had gathered in front of the house.Because enraged relatives of the victim apparently swore blood revenge, the suspect had to be protected by the special task force Cobra.On Sunday, the body of the 31-year-old is to be searched for in the river Inn. However, the search is likely to be difficult due to the flooded river. In addition, the 33-year-old’s car, with which he brought his wife’s body to the Inn, will be forensically examined.

Anthony Baggette knew the precise moment he had to get out: He was driving by a convenience store in Cincinnati when a police officer pulled him over. There had been a robbery. He fit the description given by the store’s clerk: a Black man.

Okunini Ọbádélé Kambon knew: He was arrested in Chicago and accused by police of concealing a loaded gun under a seat in his car. He did have a gun. But it was not loaded. He used it in his role teaching at an outdoor skills camp for inner-city kids. Kambon also had a license. The gun was kept safely in the car’s trunk.

Baggette lives in Germany, Drayton in Trinidad and Tobago, Kambon in Ghana.

In Ghana, where Kambon is involved in a program that encourages descendants of the African diaspora to return to a nation where centuries earlier their ancestors were forced onto slave ships, he says he is one of “several thousand.” Kambon rejects descriptors such as “Black American” or “African American” that identify him with the USA. 

Moving to Germany because you think America is racist is like moving to Arizona because you think New Jersey is too hot. 

Kambon has already been the subject of multiple news stories. Ghana does have a program encouraging African-Americans to move there. But Ghana, like most African countries, has tribal divisions and there is tribal discrimination.

And if you don’t like the US prison system, Ghana’s really gives you something to think about, like using some prisoners dubbed the Black Coats to beat other inmates.

But moving is an honest response to hating this country. Staying and wrecking it is a dishonest one.

That said, America, currently, is about as tolerant and free as it gets. No other country is going to match that.

Here is a message which should send a shudder down the spine of anyone who believes in the concept of equality before the law: a British police department openly admitting that it intends to give special, favourable treatment to Black Lives Matter.

Note the use of that weasel word ‘vigil.’ Presumably this comes from the same dictionary of politically correct excuse-making that led the BBC describe Black Lives Matter’s violent demos in London – in which 27 police officers were injured – as ‘largely peaceful.’

It’s a lie and an insulting lie at that. Vigils are what angels keep. Vigils are what servicemen keep over the bodies of their fallen comrades. Vigils are honourable, solemn, ancient – and have nothing whatsoever to do with a bunch of mostly white middle class, ‘uni’ graduates and Marxist agitators causing mayhem on the public streets under the pretence that they fighting against ‘structural racism.’

Note also that Northumbria Police are effectively declaring a two-tier policing system. Protest gatherings – even ones pretending to be ‘vigils’ – are illegal under the draconian legislation which was rushed through by the UK parliament in response to coronavirus. Yet here is Northumbria Police explicitly – and unilaterally – announcing to the world that they consider Black Lives Matter are exempt.

Why?

How can it possibly be justifiable – let alone fair – for any police department in the UK to turn a blind eye to (or indeed, as here, actively encourage) the hard left while simultaneously warning that anyone who wants to protest against this injustice will be liable for arrest?

Also, what the hell are the police doing giving special privileges to a Marxist organisation which not only wants them to be banned but thinks that All Cops Are Bastards?

I doubt – or at least hope – that no rank and file police in Northumbria (one of the more down-to-earth regions of Britain) support this lunacy. But then I suppose I wouldn’t be altogether surprised if some did because policing in Britain these days seems to be so heavily in thrall to the Social Justice Warrior values of Common Purpose and the radical left generally that they may well believe their job is to promote ‘anti-racism’ more than it is to uphold the law and keep the peace.

Some of us could see this coming a mile off. Police cars redecorated in the colours of unicorn vomit (in solidarity with LGBTQetc), policemen being encouraged to wear high heels and paint their finger nails in solidarity with something or other, policemen obsessed with hurty tweets but not with preventing knife crime or burglary or underage white girls being groomed and raped by gangs of Muslim brutes, policewomen getting half the top jobs more as a reward for being lesbian, etc than for showing any obvious talent. We saw all this happening and asked ourselves: but will this cucked, emasculated police be capable of responding if it all kicks off and some actual, old-fashioned law enforcement is required?

Well over the last few weeks we’ve had our answer: police in Bristol looking on (approvingly) as statues are dragged by mobs and dumped in the sea; police in London running away from the mob and being beaten up by more uncontrolled mobs.

Home Secretary Priti Patel has been talking some tough talk, saying she’s going to haul the head of the Metropolitan Police Cressida Dick over the coals for failing to keep order. But will she really have the appetite for the root and branch reform that’s needed? And where, among all the milquetoast, right-on, sociology graduates that now form the upper echelons of the police is she going to find officers with the mettle and backbone to restore the police to their original purpose?

I would suggest that maybe it’s time to put the Army in charge of law and order – except they’re now commanded by politically correct bedwetters too.

Britain, I fear, is toast. But then I look across at what’s happening in the U.S. and I see the same problem there too.

And to think that, up until quite recently, right-wingers like myself who pointed out that we were losing the culture wars to the radical left and that all our institutions had fallen to Social Justice Warriors were treated like tin-foil-hatted loons.

Such was the fate of Cassandra. Nothing changes. All I know that if Boris Johnson’s administration doesn’t get its act together soon on the law and order front, then we ain’t seen nothing yet. Come October, when the economic consequences of the government’s pointless coronavirus lockdown make themselves felt and unemployment starts to bite, that is when the shit is really going to hit the fan.

The Hamburg-based magazine Der Spiegel last week was catapulted into a fresh anti-Israel scandal when it published an article allegedly blaming the Israeli police for shooting a Palestinian terrorist.The title of the Spiegel article read: “Israeli soldiers shoot Palestinian at border crossing.”

A video showed the alleged Palestinian terrorist Ahmad Mustafa Erekat ramming his car into Israeli soldiers. Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said Erekat “drove his vehicle quickly towards the direction of a female border police officer who was injured lightly.”When asked if the headline is anti-Israel, Anja zum Hingst, a Spiegel spokeswoman, told The Jerusalem Post that “no, in this case Spiegel took over a news story from AFP news agency, as clearly shown under the post which is recognizable. It is based on official Israeli information.”When pressed by the Post if Spiegel plans to correct the headline, zum Hingst said “the first sentence of the lead says that the Palestinian quickly approached an official.” She added that “the report is based on official Israeli information. Of course we don’t see anything anti-Israel or antisemitic in this.”A sample of other media outlets shows the role of the alleged Palestinian terrorist in the attack on Israeli soldiers. The AP titled its article “Palestinian Driver Killed In Alleged Attack On Israeli Guard,” and an Israeli media outlet used the headline “Driver tries to ram cops near Jerusalem, is shot and killed — police.”The US wire service Jewish Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) wrote “Palestinian driver who attempted car-ramming attack near Jerusalem shot and killed by police.”

News organizations frequently change story headlines when they are inaccurate or provide a distorted news account.Uwe Becker, commissioner of the German Hessian state government for combating antisemitism, told the Post on Saturday that “the magazine Der Spiegel has obviously a serious Israel problem. In a car ramming attack, a Palestinian terrorist had tried to kill Israeli security forces with his vehicle. The lead story evokes a completely different picture, as if the nephew of a Palestinian Politician was kind of randomly killed by Israeli Forces.”He added that “the ongoing repetition of an anti-Israeli” content in Spiegelarticles spread “a massive anti-Israeli atmosphere in Germany.”The Bild journalist Filipp Piatov wrote on twitter in response to the Spiegelheadline:“How many Jews have to die for Spiegel to name a terrorist as such?”In an article on the Mena-Watch website, the German journalist, Alex Feuerherdt, accused the Spiegel of “double standards” against the Jewish state. In recent days and weeks there has been a surge of accusations of racism against the Mohren brewery ( Mohr means Moor in the English language). According to the company, an objective dialogue is no longer possible.

Since the beginning of the radical left-wing “Black Lives Matter” movement, hostility against the traditional Dornbirn brewery because of its logo has increased massively. Employees were called “dirtbag” and “Nazis” on the answering machine.The brewery now had to act and temporarily shut down its Facebook account.An online petition supports the company, which has a stylized Moor’s head in its logo.Almost 9,000 people had signed up so far. The Medium Online Vorarlberg has started a survey, which showed a clear result and proves once again that leftists and left-wing extremists are only a minority with their concerns.By the way, the Moor’s head is based on the holy Mauritius, a black person that is venerated as a Saint by the Christians since the 4th century. CEO Thomas Pachole said it would be wrong to change something that has already existed for 200 years. In fact, in such debates about ethics it is usually overlooked that there is no real pressure from the public. Few noisy left-wing extremists are quoted by the media, thus feigning a scandal that never was one.

Warren isn’t alone in her racist views. Bill Gates has spent vast fortunes promoting the leftist agenda. His wife Melinda of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation believes that a vaccine for COVID-19 should go first to blacks. Seriously:

“Here in the United States, it’s going to be Black people who really should get it first and many indigenous people, as well as people with underlying symptoms, and then elderly people.”

Prioritizing the elderly makes sense, because the disease is much more likely to kill them. But old people will have to wait in line until People of Politically Preferred Pigmentation have been served. Because moonbattery.
