“Cancel culture does not exist”, we hear the liberal mantra, although it has come a long way since in the 1970s “Slaughterhouse n. 5 ” by Kurt Vonnegut was banned in some US schools. Julie Burchill’s contract with Hachette was torn apart after being accused of “Islamophobic comments” on social media. The book by the controversial and much-followed Sunday Telegraph columnist, entitled “Welcome to the Woke Trials: How #Identity Killed Progressive Politics,” was due to be released in the spring.

Three days ago, Burchill began tweeting to journalist Ash Sarkar, who criticized Rod Liddle for an old Spectator article, in which Liddle explained that he had not become a teacher because he feared he would become a harasser of young pupils. Burchill replied to Sarkar: “Can you please remind me of the age of the first wife of the Prophet Muhammad? Thanks in advance!” (Aisha was nine). Sarkar, who is Muslim, replied: “Julie Burchill, who once I suppose was a well regarded journalist, has quite openly subjected me to Islamophobia on here. I’m a big girl – it’s not going to upset me – but I do find it strange that none of her colleagues or friends in the industry seem to have a problem with it.”

A spokesperson for Little, Brown of the Hachette Group (which already cancelled Woody Allen’s “Apropos of Nothing” a year ago) said, “We will no longer publish Burchill’s book. While there is no legal definition of hate speech in the UK, we believe that her comments on Islam are not morally defensible. ” Charlie King, chief executive of Little, Brown, branded Burchill’s words as “deplorable.”

Who knows what Hachette’s current executives would have decided in 2007, when the very same publishing house published Christopher Hitchens’ “God is not great”, which stated that many Islamic countries “have lowered the age of ‘consent’ to nine years, perhaps in admired emulation of the age of the younger ‘wife’ of the ‘Prophet’ Mohammed.”

Now a book on censorship is censored.

In “Welcome to the Woke Trials”, Burchill recounted what happened to her after writing an article for the Observer, which was removed after her criticism of her “transphobic language”. Burchill came to the defense of her friend Suzanne Moore, who has just resigned from the Guardian after the ideological bullying of her colleagues.

The British cultural establishment is in the grip of a strange and sinister atmosphere. The London Cartoon Museum has just decided that it will do without some works of William Hogarth, the founder of satire.

“Black Lives Matter has opened our eyes,” museum director Joe Sullivan told The Telegraph. He said that there are too many works of “white cisgender” artists. There is a need for “less Hogarth” and more “diversified” artists. So instead of the famous painter of young people who married for money, of Victorian moralists killed by syphilis and of aristocrats destroyed by gin, they will exhibit moralistic works on white racism or LGBTQ “inclusion”.

Because the goal of Western publishing houses and museums is no longer that of publishing books that sell or exhibiting paintings that attract the public, but a mission: that of re-educating the public with dazibaos (large character posters) as was the norm in the Chinese Cultural Revolution.

If you are not among the millions of people who have seen the “Fight for Trump!” video on Twitter (or the 52,000 who have seen it on YouTube), don’t miss it, embedded below in both versions.  It is one minute and thirty-nine seconds of inspiration for those of us who understand the depth of evil perpetrated in stealing the election.

One point vividly made is that Trump is the head of a worldwide populist movement dedicated to fighting the rise of two interlocked tyrannies:  a corrupt globalist ruling class in the still-democratic (but barely, perhaps even nominally so) advanced nations, in bed with the corrupt and utterly ruthless Chinese Communist Party. This video makes the point that, as lonely as it may feel with virtually the entire major media demonizing anyone who complains about election fraud, we are not alone.

The credits list Kagwar as responsible for the video, an outfit previously unknown to me. But they have an online shop for posters and the slogan “Memes are forever.”  I am going to keep an eye on them for further material.

A 38-year-old man in Oldenburg was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife. The accused had committed the crime for base motives, the court ruled on Friday (case no. 5 Ks 13/20). The family with five minor children originates from Afghanistan, the 33-year-old wife had separated from her husband, which he had seen as a violation of honour and tradition.According to the court, the children had not witnessed the crime in July in the woman’s flat, but had overheard it from another room. When an argument escalated, the man hit the woman with a cricket bat and kicked her in the face. Rescue workers found the woman unconscious at the time. She died a few days later in hospital from a craniocerebral trauma.The accused said in the trial that his wife had broken up with him. He could remember the argument, but not the crime and its consequences. The prosecution also pleaded for life imprisonment, but considered the murder criterion of cruelty. The court did not agree. The lawyer pleaded for manslaughter in the heat of passion, but did not call for a specific sentence. The five children have been in the care of the youth welfare office since July.

In voluntary decision, according to the ideology and in contempt of the German political system, they joined the IS caliphate, accepted the crimes or overlooked the numerous horrific incidents in order to live a “faithful” life. Now, three IS women and their children and several orphans have been brought back from Syria to Germany at taxpayers’ expense, of course for humanitarian reasons. It is very surprising that these IS supporters want to return to the very society that they deeply despise according to their religious beliefs.Actually, these IS women should be held accountable at the crime scene and bear the consequences, as is the international custom, but the German government prefers to hide the numerous IS victims, bring back the caliphate supporters and set them at large in Germany. Here they can then walk around in freedom and possibly practise their religious worldview, and the possible crimes committed abroad might be difficult to prove.While many a citizen is hardly pleased about the repatriation measures, the Kurds in northern Syria are probably relieved: the camps are gradually emptying and the burden is being lifted.

For the first time, the German government has taken action itself and is bringing captured German ISIS members back to Germany from northern Syria. The Federal Foreign Office has chartered a plane for the long-planned return transport of three women and their children as well as several orphans from Kurdish camps, and federal police officers are accompanying the flight.

According to newspaper BILD, the three adults are Leonora M. (21) from Sangerhausen, Merve A. (24) from Hamburg and Yasmin A. from Bonn.

The Federal Foreign Office (AA) is busily repatriating German ISIS women for the first time. The decision was made solely on humanitarian grounds, according to the AA. Several relatives of imprisoned Germans had successfully sued the German government for repatriation, but none of the court decisions have been implemented so far.

There’s an old prop from Aristotle offered to public speakers.

There is much anticipation that the alternate slate of (GOP) electors sent to Congress will cause a stalemate, causing the electors not to be confirmed.  It is understood that any senator, and Mike Pence himself, can raise an objection to the confirmation of the Electoral College votes.

This would prompt a trigger that would abandon the Electoral College process and send the decision for president to the House of Representatives, and subsequently the choice of vice president back to the Senate.  The House would not vote on president, but would defer by default to the number of states represented, with Republicans holding 26 and Democrats holding 21.  Following this scenario, Donald Trump is rightfully reinstated as president.

It would also trigger the left, who would re-engage their shock troops (BLM, Antifa, LGBTQ, etc), media sycophants, and Big Tech allies to flood the market with propaganda and violence.  There is even “word on the street” that if this option is triggered, Pelosi, Schumer, or Mark Zuckerberg will engage the U.N. (read: China) to invade the U.S. and force the installation of Joe Biden.

Point of note: If Judge (Judas) Roberts thought taking the Texas case would cause riots, wait until Mike Pence and the Senate abandon the Electoral College.

We are at a constitutional crossroads.  If, as President Trump has asserted, and his legal teams have made an effort to argue, the election was tainted, cheating occurred (on a massive scale), and foreign powers played a role in the treason, he and we should fight to defend the integrity of our vote — not (just) for him, but for all of us (even Democrats).  If votes can be manipulated, all are disenfranchised, except those who, as Josef Stalin asserted, “count the votes.”

As a Donald Trump–supporter and staunch conservative, I am prepared to accept Donald Trump’s assertion that his loss was arrived at through massive cheating and foreign interference.  The presentation of facts that I’ve been able to view (in spite of Facebook/Google/Twitter’s efforts) gives me confidence that the president handily won re-election.  My acceptance, though, is not as pertinent as Congress accepting it.  Having one, two, or even a dozen senators challenge the Electoral College process would be seen (and laboriously propagandized) as a handful of “white men” disenfranchising the vote of millions of “people of color.”  (This assertion will be proffered anyway.)

I propose that Donald Trump call an emergency session of Congress prior to January 6.  There he, his legal team, director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen, and secretary of state Mike Pompeo should present all of the information that they’ve uncovered as it pertains to illegalities and foreign interference uncovered prior to and during the 2020 presidential election.

Having Congress presented this information would likely not convince the entire Republican caucus, and likely none or few of the Democrat caucus, but it would provide enough cover for a few patriots to do the right thing on the 6th.

No longer could a Mitt Romney claim he hasn’t seen evidence of widespread fraud.  Force him and others to defend the facts presented to them.

The ” German-speaking Muslim Community e.V.” published a video last Christmas Eve, which is still online on Youtube and is now increasingly causing a stir on the net in the run-up to Christmas. The message of the video, in which Abu Maher preaches: “Christmas is an insult to Allah!” (blasphemy).

The ” German-speaking Muslim Community” (DMG) is a registered association (e.V.), which defines itself as follows: “As a long-standing association in Braunschweig, we represent Islam according to the understanding of the first three generations after the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and would like to teach Islam – based on the Qurân and Sunna (way of the Prophet) and its pure message – to our fellow human beings and society. It is close to our hearts to enable all those who are interested to get to know the values and norms that Islam imposes on human beings…

Under the headline “Important!” the association states: “As a Muslim community, we are part of the local society. We respect the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, but at the same time insist on our basic rights, such as freedom of religion and freedom of opinion, and would like to live and let live in peace and mutual tolerance like every citizen.”

Whether such a video contributes to peace and mutual tolerance, I seriously doubt…

Meanwhile, I wouldn’t really rely on the Muslim community’s self-description. Because that could be life-threatening, as the following tweet shows:
