German police must release crime suspects’ nationality to journalists, court rules

In a case that may serve as precedent in Germany, a German administrative court ruled last week that police must reveal the nationality of a suspect to the press if a journalist makes the request.

The Hanover Administrative Court granted a reporter’s urgent application on Tuesday, according to which the authorities were obliged to provide information to the press in order to “fulfill their public task”.

“The press fulfills a public task when it procures and disseminates news in matters of public interest, takes a position, criticizes or otherwise participates in the formation of opinion”, said the reasoning for the decision that was made public on Wednesday, according to a report from Berlin-based newspaper Junge Freiheit.

In Germany and other European countries, a perpetrator’s national origins has become a matter of public interest. The continent’s growing migrant populations have been tied to increased crime in GermanySwedenFranceSwitzerlandItaly, and other European countries. In many cases, police either do not report on the ethnicity or national origin of perpetrators or newspaper refuse to publish the information.

The specific case in Germany involved an illegal car race in Hanover in September. The journalist subsequently asked an official of the Hanover Police Department about the origin of one of the parties involved, however, the authority refused to provide information on the grounds that it was personal data.

The journalist, however, insisted that the information was relevant. He remarked that as a court reporter, he had noticed in the past that young men regularly taking part in illegal street races often had a migrant background. Remix News has also previously reported on the prevalence of young migrant men involved in illegal street races in Germany, which has led to a number of deaths, including of children.

The Hanover Administrative Court backed the journalist’s position in its verdict, saying that there is a public interest in information in cases of illegal street races. This has been shown in the past, for example, in the Berlin “Ku’damm Racer case”. This refers to a June illegal street race on Berlin’s famous Kurfürstendamm avenue, when a race with speeds of up to 170 kilometers per hour (105 mph) led to the death of one of the participants.

In addition, there is an interest in information as to the origin of the person involved in the accident in the specific case, the court ruled that “the socio-cultural background” could “be important with regard to the determination of any accumulations of behavior in question in certain groups of perpetrators”. The judges determined that the suspect’s private interest in not disclosing his nationality does not outweigh the public’s interest in information.

Brawls between Muslim pupils and alleged infidels – now the norm at German schools

At the weekend Lale Akgün was gripped by fear. She had just learned of the murder of the French teacher Samuel Paty by Islamists. His crime: He had dared to show cartoons of the Islamic prophet Mohammed in a classroom.

The federal spokeswoman of the network of Secular Social Democrats wanted to know whether teachers in Germany were also threatened or intimidated by Islamists. And asked this question via Facebook. Yes, they are – answered about 50 teachers within hours. They talked about pupils who “want to suppress diversity of opinion in the classroom with verbal violence” and “threaten teachers openly or covertly”, reports the Cologne Social Democrat. These pupils were “thoroughly shaped by a patriarchal world view, which they want to underpin with Islamic arguments”. Akgün was shocked. In a conversation with the newspaper WELT, Akgün quoted several letters addressed to her. In one of them, the teacher of a comprehensive school in North Rhine-Westphalia reported that there was “daily terror” there. This was caused by Muslim pupils who used their religion as justification for violence. A fortnight ago, a colleague had been slapped by one of these boys, beating of Muslim pupils with alleged infidels had become “standard practice” and insults of teachers “below the belt everyday”. But the school management fears that such descriptions could “bring the school into disrepute”. Akgün asked several of these teachers whether they were prepared and willing to report to the public. But they refused. Out of fear. The national chairman of the German Teachers’ Association, Heinz-Peter Meidinger, warned that there are attempts to “hinder teachers in their task of imparting values and democracy”. Intimidated teachers felt pressure from Muslim pupils and parents.According to Klaus Spenlen, the associations of the Coordinating Council of Muslims (KRM) even incite pupils to conflicts which have one main goal: they should “create a common identity for all Muslim pupils by separating them from the non-Muslim environment”. In addition, they cooperated “in case of doubt rather with fundamentalist groups like neo-Salafism than with liberal political movements”.

Analysts predict Trump victories, either a squeaker or a blowout

By Andrea Widburg

Biden is the least inspiring candidate in at last a century, while President Trump has an extraordinarily enthusiastic base that is, if possible, much larger than it was in 2016. Still, the polls have been practically unanimous: Biden will win in a landslide. The polls predicted the same for Hillary in 2016, so we’re suspicious, but the confluence of awful things that’s been 2020 still makes Trump supporters just a little nervous. However, two election analysts are predicting that Trump will beat the pants and double masks off Joe Biden.

Matthew Tyrmand is a numbers guy. He got his start working for almost ten years on Wall Street as a hedge fund portfolio manager who analyzed and traded healthcare and telecommunications stocks. He then became a business consultant. After that, he worked for American Transparency, which has dedicated itself to putting all government spending in one place, information you can find at Open The Books (a fascinating website).

In 2016, Tyrmand looked at the numbers and concluded that Trump would get 311 Electoral College votes, a prediction that was off only by 5 (Trump got 306 EC votes). This time around, Tyrmand thinks that Trump will get between 342 and 386 EC votes:

[A]ll the conventional swing states (NH PA MI WI NV AZ) will go red.

Some of the states purported to be swing states are not even in play this cycle in my view as they are so firmly in the “stop burning down the cities” camp (FL OH GA NC) that they will be defended easily.

States that should not have been in play as they have been consistently dem the last 30-40 years are slam dunk GOP red now (MN NM) and bc of how coercive and disgusting the political/academic/media left has behaved even some states no one is talking about are in play (VA OR CT NJ).

My one crap shoot state is CO- although I think it will follow through red in the pending landslide especially with a 45pc+ national Hispanic electorate voting for DJT (28pc in 2016)- but it is in the grand scheme moving from purple to blue (“the Colorado blueprint” worked- hats off to the Dems on that one).

The popular vote will be a blowout- 10pc+ win for our presidential incumbent with CA IL NY MA MD WA coming in closer in the R/D divide than any other time since the Reagan’84 blowout, with major impact from a sea change positive delta in the black vote going from ~8pc in 2016 to over 20pc or even 25pc this cycle.

I like those numbers. Additionally, while Tyrmand acknowledges the possibility of fraud and anticipates initial chaos, he thinks Trump’s margin of victory will be so big that it will drown out the fraud. As he says,

Ultimately, as it always does, it will come down to turnout. And as such, given the enthusiasm gap, it will be a landslide of almost Reagan’84 proportions.

And just to make you more optimistic, Tyrmand also believes Republicans will take the House back. It’s a long analysis, and I recommend you read it all.

Nor is Tyrmand alone in seeing good things. Inan Dogan, an industrial engineer who holds a Ph.D. in economics, claims that the “Polls Are Biased: Trump Will Again Deliver A Stunning Upset.” In a long, number-rich post, Dogan takes apart the latest pro-Democrat vote forecast from Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight. According to Dogan, the polls are wrong, and their bias is heightened by the fact that they reflect people’s concerns about Trump having caught the Wuhan virus.

Dogan believes that the pivotal state is not Ohio or Pennsylvania but is, instead, Florida. According to FiveThirtyEight, Biden has a 3.4 point lead in Florida. That lead, however, appeared when Trump was diagnosed and is already shrinking rapidly. Dogan, therefore, predicts a Trump win by .6 points.

Having disposed of the pivotal Florida vote, Dogan examines the other states, in each case adjusting the poll results to reflect what he believes are errors in the current polling. Although Dogan is not as optimistic about the battleground states as Tyrmand is, he still believes that Trump will win enough battleground states to give him an Electoral College victory.

Dogan says that, even if Trump can’t win Pennsylvania (where fraud is rife, aided by both the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court), he can still win by taking Michigan and Florida.  Alternatively, Trump can win with Florida plus either Wisconsin or Minnesota. At bottom, while FiveThirtyEight gives Biden an 87% chance of winning, Dogan thinks the odds favor Trump, albeit not by much.

This is a crazy election year, but Biden’s hidin’, Trump’s smiling, the grassroots rallies are amazing, and the Democrats are depressed. That’s all got to mean that something good will happen, right?

Austrian military imam fired after allegedly sympathizing with jihad

A well-known imam, Abdulmedzid Sijamhodzic, has been expelled from the Austrian army after the government said evidence came to light that he supports jihadists.

Muslims such as Sijamhodzic, who mostly stem from Balkan countries, have been working in the Austrian army for many years, and a large hare of them came to Austria as refugees during the Yugoslav wars. In response, the Austrian army thus decided to create the post of military imam.

Now, the position is turning out to be a problem after serious allegations prompted Austrian Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner to immediately expel Sijamhodzic from Austria’s armed forces.

He is suspected of publicly expressing his sympathy for a Bosnian jihadist movement, according to Czech news portal Echo24.

“Cooperation with him is terminated with immediate effect until further notice,” Tanner said.

According to information from Austria’s top daily Kronen Zeitung, the imam originally from Bosnia published photos on Facebook with a former general of the Yugoslav army, who is considered a war criminal, and gave “likes” to suspected jihadists.

Minister Klaudia Tanner said a thorough investigation had been launched. If the allegations are confirmed, further action will follow.

“I do not understand such behavior and I will not tolerate such behavior under my leadership,” she said. However, she said cooperation with the Islamic community will continue.

According to Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, Tanner has taken an important step. “It is clear that political Islam has no place in our country and we will continue to take strict action against it,” said Kurz.

But much earlier, MP from FPÖ party Reinhard Bösch, said the army imam shared jihadist videos and had contacts with war criminals. So far, those specific remain unsubstantiated.

The dismissed imam, Sijamhodzic, resolutely denied the allegations of Islamism on Friday.

“I have never shared jihadist videos on my Facebook page, nor do I share this ideology,” he told Mittagsjournal on Ö1. As part of the multicultural image of the Austrian army in 2015, Sijamhodzic even gave a ceremonial speech on the national holiday at the oath of new recruits. His performances are often publicized too.

Hunter Biden Chaired a Foundation to Stop Child Abuse, While Engaging In It

The Hunter Biden laptop at the center of the political scandal had a sticker on it with the name of the Beau Biden Foundation. The sticker has been widely reported, but not its full name.

The full name of the foundation named after Joe Biden’s son and Hunter Biden’s brother is the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children. It’s both tragic and disgusting then that Rudy Giuliani has alleged that the laptop contained material involving underage girls.

It’s unclear if the Hunter Biden laptop actually belonged to the Beau Biden Foundation, but the The Mac Shop, at the center of the story, is in Wilmington, as is the Beau Biden Foundation. It’s a short drive down the 202 from the physical address of the foundation at the University of Delaware Law School to the Trolley Square address of the shop where the laptop ended up.

Earlier this year, the Beau Biden Foundation was one of the beneficiaries of grants from the Delaware COVID-19 Strategic Response Fund. The Biden foundation had received a $22,000 grant to provide “virtual training” to protect children from abuse. That is the sort of thing that the foundation, co-chaired by Hunter Biden and other Biden family members, does.

The Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children claims that its mission is protecting children from child abuse, especially over the internet. It runs workshops, distributes ebooks, and offers training sessions to prevent children from being groomed by abusers online.

It’s deeply troubling then that Hunter Biden had apparently been accused of doing just that.

In one of the messages allegedly exchanged between Joe Biden and his son, the Democrat presidential candidate asks his son, “This is [redacted 14-year-old girl] right.”

“She told my therapist that I was sexually inappropriate with [redacted girl] when she says that I facetime naked with her and the reason I can’t have her out to see me is because I’ll walk around naked smoking crack talking [redacted] girls on face time,” Hunter replied.

Meanwhile the Beau Biden Foundation was offering lessons on how to spot online predators.

Some have speculated that this refers to Hallie Biden’s daughter. Hallie Biden, a fellow co-chair of the foundation, was also Beau’s widow and had been in a relationship with Hunter. If so this would have been a devastating indictment of the foundation’s leadership which was charging $3,000 for lessons on preventing online child abuse while its board members were involved in it.

“As adults, we have a legal and moral obligation to stand up and speak out for children who are being abused. These children cannot speak for themselves,” Beau Biden once allegedly said.

The quote decorates much of the Beau Biden Foundation’s material.

Perhaps Beau would have wanted someone to speak out if his daughter were endangered.

If Hunter Biden was privately being accused of creating “a very unsafe environment for the kids” and of exposing himself to an underage girl, this should have been made public to warn others, instead of concealing the information for years until the laptop with its Beau Biden Foundation sticker, featuring an angel’s wing (t-shirts with the logo are available for $20 bucks), went public.

The Beau Biden Foundation offers “youth-serving organizations” a $3,000 “Shield of Protection” program which claims to train staff how to be “Stewards of Children®”, stop grooming, as well as “Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse.” The latter, a $500 workshop, deals with, among other things, mandatory reporting statutes. Were the allegations against Beau ever reported?

If the allegations are true, then the Beau Biden Foundation leaders needed that training.

It might have been a better investment of their time than the foundation’s annual Child Protection Classic golf game at the Wilmington Country Club for only $650 per golfer.

Playing golf doesn’t stop child abuse. Reporting child abusers and locking them up does.

A scandal affecting the Beau Biden Foundation doesn’t just stop there.

Beyond the various Biden family members, the foundation’s board also included Tony Allen, the president of Delaware State University, a former Biden speechwriter and special assistant, as well as a member of Biden’s Transition Team.

Also on the board is former FBI director Louis Freeh who had also been recruited by Hunter Biden to work on the case of a Romanian businessman convicted of fraud, while Joe Biden was pressuring the Romanian government to fight “corruption”. Biden’s former staffer had been appointed as ambassador and Beau had cut the ribbon for the new embassy.

Joshua Alcorn, the Chief Operating Officer at the Beau Biden Foundation, had been a senior adviser for Draft Biden, and had worked on Biden’s previous presidential campaign.

The Beau Biden Foundation, like everything involving the Biden family, is a snapshot of Bidenworld: the political and personal associations mixing together in inseparable ways.

And that may have made the alleged misconduct by Beau Biden impossible to police.

Beau was the “good son”. The elder son who was being groomed to carry on the Biden political clan’s fortunes. At the Democratic National Convention, after Obama had picked his father as his second, it was Beau who introduced him. A year earlier, Beau had become Delaware’s Attorney General, and held the position for 8 years.

Delaware’s legal community is littered with his associates.

When Giuliani turned over the laptop to Delaware authorities, the office of Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings quickly announced that it was passing it on to the FBI.

Jennings had worked under Beau Biden and is campaigning for Joe Biden, had posted, “I’ve known Joe, Jill, and the Biden family for most of my life.”

Patricia Lewis, the Executive Director of the Beau Biden Foundation, had been a Deputy Attorney General until she retired the same year that Beau Biden did.

Delaware is a small state and its political class is a good deal smaller. How much did the board members of the Beau Biden Foundation know about what the laptop might contain? Were any of them aware that even while the foundation was soliciting and obtaining coronavirus grant funds to protect children from online abuse, its co-chair may have been accused of abuse?

Like so many questions about the Bidens, they will neither be asked nor answered.

Meanwhile, even while a laptop from its co-chair containing alleged photos of underage girls with its sticker on it was submitted to the authorities, the Beau Biden Foundation goes on promising to protect children. But who’s going to protect the children from the Bidens?

California and New York City are Trying to Buy the Election for Biden

This is why we have the Electoral College. And it’s why Democrats are obsessed with destroying it.

Democrat victories mean that New York City and California, or rather their wealthy elites, get to run the country. That’s why they’re literally buying the election for Joe Biden.

Take it from that notorious right-wing disinformation site… the New York Times.

Mr. Biden’s entire financial edge can be accounted for through just four states: California, New York, Massachusetts and Washington.

And within those and other blue states, Mr. Biden’s hauls are particularly concentrated in big cities and suburbs. One Upper West Side ZIP code — 10024 — accounted for more than $8 million for Mr. Biden, and New York City in total delivered $85.6 million for him — more than he raised in every state other than California.

The question is whether a small group of financial elites with their power bases in a few key states should be running the country and buying elections.

That’s one of the questions that 2020 will answer.

In ZIP codes with a median household income of at least $100,000, Mr. Biden smashed Mr. Trump in fund-raising, $486 million to only $167 million — accounting for almost his entire financial edge. In the rest of the country, the two were knotted closely together.

The Democrats pretend they’re class warriors. But they’re right. It’s just not the class they’re claiming to be.

WATCH: Confused Joe Biden Calls Trump ‘George’ Twice

He’s recently forgotten what office he’s running for, but on Sunday former Vice President Joe Biden got confused again by forgetting who his opponent is.

“…What kind of country we’re gonna be,” asked Biden. “Four more years of George uh… George uh… he uh — we’re gonna find ourselves in a position where if Trump gets elected we’re going to be, we’re going to be in a different world.”

Presumably, Biden was confusing President Trump with President George W. Bush, who left office 12 years ago.

Joe Biden’s wife Jill can be seen mouthing something quietly under her breath, most likely saying Trump’s name.

President Trump mocked Biden’s mixup Monday morning. “Joe Biden called me George yesterday. Couldn’t remember my name. Got some help from the anchor to get him through the interview. The Fake News Cartel is working overtime to cover it up!” he tweeted.

Joe Biden’s campaign called a lid on in-person events Sunday morning.

Muslims rally in Germany against Macron’s defending the Mohammed cartoons

It suddenly became really noisy last Sunday afternoon on Lübbener Square in Neunkirchen. A group of about 25 people were shouting their protest against the current policy of French President Macron ( Defending the Mohammed cartoons). The police, who, according to their own statement, were taken by surprise by the action and were alerted at 4.21 pm, reported that the group included “people with a foreign background, including Syrians”. The group included men, women and children. The protest lasted about 20 minutes and was peaceful, the police said on request. Further actions were expected in the coming days, the group announced. In talks with the protesters, the police called for closer cooperation in the run-up to the protest.
