In the first quarter, there were about 20,000 registered cases in which “asylum seekers” became victims of a crime. Miraculously, the number of crimes committed in asylum centres has decreased, perhaps because the conflicts are now being carried out outside the accommodation, as the case in Suhl shows.We are responsible for our domestic criminals and have to deal with them ourselves, but there is no reason to accept imported crime and to keep these criminals in Germany.

The numbers of refugees and migrants coming to Germany are decreasing from year to year, but immigrant crime remains a major problem. Immigrants in Germany committed a total of 63,848 criminal offences in the first three months of 2020, 3.1 percent more than in the first quarter of 2019 (61,895 cases).
