The spokeswoman for Thuringia’s Interior Minister Georg Maier (SPD), Anne Bressem, has been the victim of a sexual assault by a “Mediterranean-looking man”. According to the police, the crime took place on Sunday morning in the castle park in Sondershausen, Thuringia.

Bressem, a lieutenant colonel in the army, announced on Twitter that her “peaceful” jogging would now be a thing of the past. She told the Bild newspaper on Tuesday, the alleged perpetrator had repeatedly drove around them with a racing bike and then disappeared.
