Several times men have marched across Leipzig and spat at passers-by and police. On Thursday, a 31-year-old man first molested and spat at a mother in Reudnitz-Thonberg, police reported on Friday. The man had claimed to have suffered from Covid-19. The health department decided that the man known to the police would be tested for Corona. The result was negative, the police announced that evening.

There was a similar case on Friday afternoon in the South Centre. A man had been seen marching through the city center ranting and kicking cars, a police spokeswoman said when asked by the newspaper LVZ. The officers called in put a face mask on the man, and an ambulance was also on duty.

Already on Tuesday a 37-year-old passenger had sprayed disinfectants at the main station and shouted “Allahu Corona”, according to the federal police.
