Germany: An asylum seeker attacks passers-by for no reason

A 27-year-old asylum seeker from Ethiopia was arrested on Thursday at 11 p.m. in the downtown area of Laubach. Apparently the suspect had stopped several cars in Bahnhofstraße shortly before. He is said to have harassed a couple at the market square. He is said to have attacked and injured a 19-year-old man without warning. The suspect was then arrested. He was probably drunk and had to go to a sobering cell. The police in Grünberg are still looking for witnesses to the incident. The couple is particularly important as witnesses. The personal details of these two persons have not yet been determined. Please inform the police station in Grünberg by calling 06401 – 91430.
