The Steinfurt police are investigating a serious sexual abuse of a child following an incident that occurred on 2nd of January 2018. A 13-year-old girl had met a young man via a social media platform (Instagram). One met and drove together with the car of the man into a field or forest way between Nordwalde and Greven. Here the 13-year-old was sexually abused by the unknown man, who called himself “Bashar” ( pronounced “Baschar”). The man was about 18 to 25 years old, about 185-190 cm tall, had a normal to powerful stature and brown eyes. The vehicle of the unknown is said to have been a green VW Volkswagen with ST number plates. According to the victim a identikit picture was made. The investigators ask: Who can give details about the man described and depicted on the identikit picture? Please inform the Greven police, call 02571/928-4455.
