Already on Sunday a Turk solved his family problems in his own cultural way with a knife. The 41-year-old killed his two toddlers aged one and two. The autopsy report is now available, according to which the children died of “cuts” according to some sensitive police reports.The perpetrator himself had dialed the emergency number and announced his suicide on Sunday at about 1.15 pm. Because it had to be assumed on the basis of the conversation that he could also do harm to family members, three ambulances, a rescue helicopter and the police arrived. The area around the residential building in Ziegel street in Bielefeld was largely closed off. When the rescue workers arrived, the apartment door had been wide open. At first they found the perpetrator, who had apparently injured himself, lying on the ground but alive, and later the one-year-old boy and his two-year-old sister were found dead. The child murderer was taken to the hospital after medical first aid, where he is now well cared for. There is still no information available on the motive of the crime.Based on the facts of the case, one can assume that the man didn’t intend his own killing as seriously as killing his children. Otherwise he wouldn’t have dialed the emergency number before he injured himself and then opened the door to the apartment to be found.
The mother was not at home at the time of the crime and is in shock.
