The cult of celebrity is a flaw in American society. It bespeaks of a lack of seriousness in what people see as important in life. And when Hollywood “stars,” singers, and athletes, many of whom are quite frankly undereducated airheads, are given prominent space in the public dialogue and taken seriously by many, you know something is amiss with society. 

Focusing on sports, you cannot help but see that football and basketball have taken on a disproportionate importance in America. This is a sign of decadence in our society. Currently the National Football League and National Basketball Association are degrading themselves by bowing to the racial winds blowing from groups like Black Lives Matter. The impetus for this is clear. A large majority of players in both leagues are black and to keep internal peace, the players will have to be placated. Little else matters. It’s as simple as that.

This mindset has seeped down to the college ranks. The National Association of Basketball Coaches are now urging colleges and universities to drop the Scholastic Assessment Tests (SATs) and American College Testing (ACT) because the tests are… you guessed it… racist.

Why? Because objective tests prevent too many blacks from enjoying the college life. So instead of addressing the deficiencies of minority candidates, it is easier to cry “institutional racism” and force standards to be lowered.

The group’s committee, chaired by South Carolina coach Frank Martin and Harvard coach Tommy Amaker, said in a statement that the tests “no longer have a place in intercollegiate athletics or education at large.” The elimination of the tests, they said, would be “an important step towards combating educational inequality.”

Really? Oregon State coach Craig Robinson obviously thinks so: “We feel it is prudent for college athletics to address a standardized test structure that has long disproportionately negative impacts on low-income and minority students.” What will be next, the college coaches demanding that exams be eliminated because the ill-prepared students who were allowed into college when the SATs and ACT were eliminated are flunking disproportionately? You know it will.

Many of these coaches have compensation packages that far exceed those given to world-class professors. After all, what’s a Nobel Prize in chemistry worth against, say, a conference championship? As if that is not bad enough, now the coaches — coaches, I remind you — are trying to set education policy for the country to accommodate their sport and by extension their rice bowl. 

Where do these jocks get the nerve to do this? They possess no great wisdom or insight. Yet they are on a pedestal as far as the media is concerned. No, it’s that sports have far too much prestige in American society. At too many colleges, sports have become the tail that wags the dog. It’s long past time for colleges to de-emphasize sports and focus instead on reclaiming high academic standards. But that can’t happen. High academic standards run against the grain of Black Lives Matter and identity politics in general. And until the fans start putting sports into proper perspective, coaches will reign high and have an inflated sense of importance. 

The National Association of Basketball Coaches has a final recommendation for America’s educational system. It suggests that students be required to take “black history” courses in high school to be eligible for college sports. See, it never ends.

During the night to Sunday, rioters fought street battles with the police on Frankfurt’s Opernplatz. The security forces were able to arrest 39 people who “predominantly have a migration background”.

Frankfurt police chief Gerhard Bereswill confirmed on Sunday afternoon that five officers were injured in the operation.

Initially, up to 3 000 people celebrated on the square in the center of the Main metropolis. At around 1 am the mood had turned and became aggressive. When the police arrived at about 3 am to pick up the victim of a brawl, the opponents of the conflict mobbed together and attacked the officers. Bottles were thrown from the crowd of around 500 people. The police finally cleared the place. Several police cars were damaged.

Bereswill was particularly dismayed that the onlookers cheered the bottle-throwing at the security forces and chanted “ACAB” [All Cops Are Bastards]. He described this as a negative culmination of a recent political developments.

In recent weeks, left-wing politicians and journalists have repeatedly accused the police of latent racism. Among other things, the fact that investigators in Stuttgart checked whether the rioters had a migration background after similar incidents, was heavily criticized. The Turkish-born journalist Mely Kiyak even described the German police as a “resentment-controlled, armed security risk”.

Stefan Kozak, CEO of North America for the Austria-based company, and Amy Taylor, North America president and chief marketing officer were let go, the energy drink company confirmed on Tuesday.

Kozak and Taylor had lobbied in recent weeks for more diversity in the company and were blamed for the leak of a letter that criticized Red Bull’s ‘public silence’ on Black Lives Matter.

Florian Klaass, the Austrian-based head of global head of music, entertainment, and culture marketing, was also fired.

All three were told they were losing their jobs on Monday, Business Insider reported.

A man has been taken into custody as part of an investigation into a series of fires, which are believed to have been started deliberately, at the Cathedral of St. Pierre and St. Paul in the western French city of Nantes.

The 39-year-old man was arrested at his home on Saturday afternoon, and the prosecutor revealed that he was in custody on Sunday morning.

According to local media reports, the individual is understood to be a Rwandan man who worked for the diocese as a volunteer. He was not previously known to police, according to the Europe1 news outlet.

On Saturday, prosecutor Pierre Sennes revealed that three fires had been started at the church. The blazes completely destroyed the cathedral’s grand organ, smashed a prominent stained glass window on the building’s facade, and ravaged a valuable 19th-century painting that had been sent from Rome.

The roof of the Catholic cathedral previously suffered fire significant damage in 1972 when a blaze broke out. The impressive building had to be closed for three years to allow the necessary restorations to take place. The church was also partly destroyed during World War Two when it was bombed by Allied forces in 1944.

The fire comes just over a year after Notre Dame fell victim to a massive blaze, which destroyed its main spire and caused extensive damage.

It is amazing how closely the Antifa movement is tracking Nazi practices in Hitler Europe. Antifa’s colors come from its German parent organization, called Antifaschistishe Aktion. Street fighting for bloody headlines was part and parcel of the Nazi campaign for power (just as it was for Lenin, Stalin and Mao).

Spreading public fear and ethnic hatreds looks like 1930s all over again. At least one famous funder of Antifa experienced the pre-Nazi era in Hungary in the 30s and 40s, namely György Soros (formerly, Schwartz), who might or might not be pulling the strings.  Street theater is a major ingredient in today’s nihilist-totalitarian gangs, and political polarization is coming along nicely.

There is something oddly stereotypical about today’s headlines, as if all the Theater Arts and Media Studies majors in the land have carefully learned the agitprop lessons of the worst catastrophe in the history of Europe and Asia. 

English speaking nations did not collapse to the Nazi and Stalinist onslaught, but they nearly died in the process. The French surrendered and moved to Vichy. The Russians under Stalin fought a long and incredibly bitter war to halt the Nazi advance. America was assaulted by Imperial Japan and came close to losing its Pacific fleet. Nazi copycats appeared in the Middle East (the Muslim Brotherhood). The Second World War was not just a battle between armies: It was a huge propaganda war, using the same divide and conquer tactics we see being repeated today. 

Jews were forced to wear the infamous yellow Star of David as a mark of shame, sure to earn ridicule and shaming in public places. Today, your skin color is intended to shame you. If you are Caucasian (or light-skinned Hispanics, Asian, or Middle Eastern), the agitprop campaign is on to shame you. 

But… any true history book reveals the malignant fraud of “anti-white race hating.” Jesus was a devout Jew in the line of King David, living in the Galilee. Look on the map to find the Galilee and you can see the likely appearance of people who lived there, which is a sort of Middle Eastern/Caucasian appearance, depending on the season. Summers tan light-skinned peoples around the world, to protect against skin cancer.

But color is utterly and completely irrelevant. What IS important is the color of shame. Near-total media control has the left shaming light-skinned Americans today, the biggest public challenge to the truth of Americanism since the German Bund of the 1930s. 

Conservatives (aka normal Americans) must never forget that we are seeing the Nazi-era theater of the left, played out in our streets with a disregard for public safety that has all of us feeling upset. Upset, maybe, but not intimidated. We will not be intimidated, not even if the mass media turn all of us into Jewish Star wearers.

According to media reports, four Bundeswehr soldiers of Turkish origin are suspected of being members of the extremist Turkish organisation Grey Wolves. They are also suspected of collaborating with the Turkish secret service MIT.

The federal government assumes a membership potential of about 11 000 people. Experts estimate this to be even higher. The Turkish secret service MIT [Turkey’s National Intelligence Agency, ed] is said to have countless agents and informants, mostly of Turkish origin, in Germany alone.

According to experts, the MIT’s espionage network extends to authorities, travel agencies and other companies.

According to the ARD magazine Report Mainz, a parliamentary inquiry by the Left Party in the Bundestag indicated that the German government assumes that there are regular meetings between the Grey Wolves and members of the MIT. The organisation is also called the Ülkücü movement.

A judicial disciplinary procedure is currently underway against at least one suspect. “There are actual indications of extremist aspirations among the other people,” the German government said in response to the inquiry.

It is “therefore likely that such contacts are also used by the MIT to promote intelligence matters”, it concluded.

According to an analyst in the Australian Green Left Weekly, the Grey Wolveshave largely unofficial presence in Turkey’s major universities, but their “real power is on the streets, among disaffected poor people in predominantly Turkish Sunni neighbourhoods.” One source claimed that a political party, the MHP and Grey Wolves “retain strong support within the military” the Middle East Eyereported.

The most important Grey Wolves-affiliated Turkish organisation in Germany is Türk Federasyon which has around 200 member organisations. It numbered around 7 000 active members a decade ago while the National Democratic Party (NPD) had 5 000 members.

Today there are at least 20 000 Turkish adherents in Germany and around 5 000 in Austria, but the numbers of supporters are on the rise. Some young wolves from Europe even travelled to Syria as “God’s warriors” according to researcher Thomas Rammersdorfer.

Cemal Çetin, the chairman of the umbrella organisation of the Gray Wolves in Europe, has had his organisation classified as extremist. Çetin, an elected Turkish MP for the MHP, was a member of President Erdogan’s delegation in Brussels for the NATO summit 2018. The fact that the leading figure of the Gray Wolves was traveling with Erdogan was also widely reported in the Turkish media.

Police are searching for a “dark-skinned” driver.

In a state of shock, the guests of the restaurant were standing on the sidewalk. A crying, completely dissolved woman is being comforted. A man tries to calm her down, repeating over and over: “Nothing happened, nothing happened.”

A wild chase across the Coesfeld pedestrian zone almost ended in disaster on Friday evening. Fleeing from the police, a car raced into the outside tables of a restaurant. It passed the visitors by a hair’s breadth! It was like scenes from an action movie.

Today around 7 pm a police car squad wanted to check a dark small car with Warendorf license plates. “The car fled from the control at excessive speed through the pedestrian zone,” said a police spokesman.

An eyewitness video shows the unbelievable moments. At first only the siren of the police car chasing the black Fiat Punto through the narrow streets of the city can be heard. Suddenly, the small car with squealing tires turns the corner and races full speed through the external catering facilities, where many guests are just about to enjoy a cosy evening.

A loud bang as the car hits a flower pot and tables. Two people are slightly injured by flying parts.

The kamikaze driver continues to race on unmoved. Later he rams two parked cars, “in one case a child could only rescue itself by jumping to the side,” according to the police.The men in the patrol car stopped the pursuit at the restaurant and took care of the outraged people. Many were in a state of shock.

At the same time, a large-scale manhunt is being conducted, and a police helicopter is also being deployed. Initially without success.

“A homicide squad was set-up in the evening”, senior public prosecutor Dirk Ollech told tabloid BILD.

On the basis of witness statements, a 29-year-old man from Coesfeld could be identified as the driver, the public prosecutor’s office reported on Saturday afternoon. Ollech: “He was summoned to the presidium by phone by us and according to initial statements he denies having driven the vehicle.” So far, the man has not been present at the police station. “We’re still searching for him.”

The damaged car was investigated and seized on Saturday morning. It is not registered, the license plates were reported stolen. According to the public prosecutor’s office in Münster, the police also have the eyewitness video. The investigation is still ongoing.
