Biden reopened “concentration camps” for migrant children. Where are our liberals?

by Giulio Meotti

Who does not remember the “children locked in cages by Trump”? The Biden administration has just reopened these, only now they are called “structures”.

The Washington Post reports that Biden has reopened a facility for illegal migrants in Texas, which can accommodate up to 700 children. These are the same structures used by Trump to detain unaccompanied minors who entered the United States illegally and minors temporarily separated from their parents.

The Democrats immediately collided with reality. Where to put them? In what Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez once called “concentration camps”.

Unaccompanied minors enjoy special protection under the Immigration Act which prohibits the government from deporting them. They need to be sent to shelters where the government takes care of them until they can find a suitable sponsor, typically a family member or friend of the family living in the United States. Of course, many of these facilities were opened under Barack Obama, which led Trump to ask Biden in a televised debate: “Who built the cages, Joe?”. Time Magazine did a cover that went viral, with Trump and a baby boy.

Thousands of unaccompanied migrant children have made their way to the southwestern border in recent weeks and taken to shelters across the country, prompting complaints that Biden is returning to one of the Trump administration’s most controversial practices: the prolonged detention of migrant children. Over the past week, border patrols have intercepted more than 2,000 migrant children traveling without adults, some as young as 6 years old.

Last week, Biden reopened a temporary shelter in Carrizo Springs, a shelter which had suffered a barrage of criticism from liberals under Trump and was closed in July 2019 after the number of children at the border dropped dramatically. Biden also reopened the center for migrant children in Homestead, Florida, shown in 2019, which inspectors had deemed in unsuitable condition and denounced by the press around the world.

Biden has just received a briefing that 20,000 beds are urgently needed for the influx of migrant children that is arriving.

When it was Trump who used this temporary measure that was actually first implemented by Obama, liberal Jewish journalist Rachel Maddow burst into tears live on MSNBC.

“What is Biden doing differently on the border?” The BBC asked. Nothing, only now there are no cameras playing the political bass drum.

And the Democrats’ first decisions to undo Trump’s policy of firmness on immigration in a month created havoc at the border. A paper today circulates among the volunteers in the centers for migrant children: “Diapers necessary everywhere.”.

Where are our brave liberal media?

French police prevent stabbing attack at Jewish school in Marseille

The attacker was turned away by the Yavne School security, made up of parents who serve as security on a volunteer basis, the Jewish Agency noted. The institution was immediately locked down with the students inside to ensure their safety. A police patrol car has been set up in front of the school building.French police forces were alerted immediately, and instructed Jewish sites throughout the city to tighten security in light of the attempted attack. After turned away from the school, the attacker tried to stab Jewish shoppers at a kosher supermarket in the city, where he was once again prevented from attacking anyone by the same security personnel.”While the coronavirus has silenced the world in many ways, it has not silenced antisemitism, or the resulting danger for Jews,” said Chairman of the Jewish Agency Isaac Herzog.

“The attack in Marseille today is a red flag that shoudl alert us to the antisemitism that is happening below the radar, and is simply waiting to break free once the movement restrictions of the pandemic come to an end,” he warned.Marseille has seen antisemitic attacks before. In 2017, a man with Tunisian citizenship stabbed two women to death at a train station. And, in 2016, merely two days after the one-year anniversary of the January 2015 attack at a kosher supermarket in Paris, a Jewish man was attacked outside a synagogue by a French minor wielding a machete. The man was lightly injured, and his assailant was arrested 10 minutes after the attack.

Germany: Syrian father allegedly incited his 12-year-old son to kill his allegedly too permissive daughter – The victim’s body was dumped like rubbish

The accused 46-year-old Syrian obviously knew how the so-called German constitutional state works. Because the western lifestyle of his 16-year-old daughter did not fit into his cultural background, he allegedly asked his 12-year-old son, who was under the age of criminal responsibility, to kill his daughter. At least that is what senior public prosecutor Jürgen Bundschuh said on Thursday at the start of the trial at the Aschaffenburg Regional Court. What the father should have particularly displeased was her relationship with a young man, according to the prosecution. With his act in May 2017, he wanted to punish the girl in order to restore his Muslim honor.Investigators believe that the defendant made the decision to kill the 16-year-old at least two weeks before the crime. Her father, who often appears to be lacking in empathy, does not want to comment on the allegations at the beginning of the trial. The prosecution assumes that the Syrian, together with his 13-year-old son, picked up the girl from the vocational school and drove her to the forest after about two hours of driving. There, the father of six beat his completely taken aback daughter and tied her up with silver tape, says the senior prosecutor. Afterwards, the 46-year-old allegedly gave his son, who was under the age of criminal responsibility, a knife and demanded that he stab his half-sister. If he resisted, he would die too, the father allegedly told the child.

In his interrogation, the boy presented himself as the perpetrator, according to the police investigator. “He presented himself as the one who had carried out the killing (…) on behalf of his father”. He said he had rarely seen a boy of that age who had been so disrespectful and so full of criminal energy. Thefts, burglaries and arsons are said to be committed by him.

However, the boy was younger than 14 years old at the time of the crime and is therefore regarded as unable to contract guilt in Germany – in other words, he cannot be criminally convicted for his crimes.

After the death of his half-sister, he disappeared at some point, possibly he is in Turkey. That is where his father had fled to escape the German investigators.

The 46-year-old is said to have attacked his daughter’s boyfriend with a knife a month after her disappearance. Therefore, the public prosecutor’s office also charges the suspect with attempted murder and dangerous bodily harm. Afterwards, he allegedly lived in Turkey for years until his arrest in 2020.

French government dissolves Identitarians

The French government has dissolved the organization Génération identitaire (Identitarian Movement). Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin justified the move in a statement by saying that the group had called for “discrimination, hatred and violence”.

“This association and some of its activists should be regarded as promoting hate speech, inciting discrimination or violence against individuals because of their origin, their race and their religion” and, “by its form and its military organization” GI “can be regarded as presenting the character of a private militia,” Darmanin declared in the decree of dissolution.

Darmanin had initiated the ban process in February already. The reason for this was, among other things, an action by the group who had symbolically blocked a mountain pass in the Pyrenees. In doing so, they protested against illegal immigration.

The Identitarian Movement had carried out similar campaigns under the motto “Defend Europe” in the Alps over the past few years. Several members had been charged and initially convicted. However, they were acquitted again on appeal in December.

The Génération identitaire originated in France in the early nineties. Among other things, the Identitarian Movement Austria and Germany emerged from it.

Génération Identitaire wanted to take one last public action before its dissolution but they were prevented from doing so by the police who carried out rigorous identity checks. “We have not committed any illegal act,” Thaïs D’Escufon told the media, citing the conditions which elicited the identity checks of GI members in the park where the activists are being held by the police.

A few hours before the officialization of this dissolution, activists had gathered at the Louis-Philippe bridge, in Paris. In particular, they wanted to deploy a banner which read: “A generation cannot be dissolved”. They were prevented from doing so by numerous police officers who carried out the identity checks and then escorted them back to the metro.

Lawyers close to GI said on social media that the ban had no legal base after the Interior Ministry had noted that the association received donations from Brenton Tarrant, the perpetrator of the Christchurch (New Zealand) attack which killed 51 people in March 2019. During his hearing in April 2019, by the parliamentary commission of inquiry on extreme right-wing groups, the former director of Tracfin Bruno Dalles had affirmed that Brendon Tarrant was a “benefactor member” of GI.

The group’s lawyer, Pierre-Vincent Lambert, immediately announced his intention to file an appeal with the Council of State for abuse of power, as well as a summary to cancel the suspension, reported Le Parisien. Two priority questions of constitutionality will also be submitted by the association. “The battle for activism is over, it’s time for the legal battle,” argued Clément Martin, one of the spokespersons for the association, who criticized the “legally flawed” decision taken by the authorities. He added that “the fight against Islamization is not carried out by us only, since other political parties are also opposed to it”.

The dissolution of Génération identitaire comes as the Interior Ministry has, in recent months, closed down three associations described as close to the “Islamist movement” (CCIF, BarakaCity, and the Cheikh Yassine collective) in the wake of the assassination of Samuel Paty in October 2020, and that of the Turkish ultranationalist group of “Gray Wolves”.

French philosopher Michel Onfray commented recently on illegal immigration in an interview with CNews: “The real revolution that should take place, is to enforce respect for French law. When there are undocumented immigrants, we tell them ‘stay anyway’.”

Seth Jahn, Athlete With Guts

For the past year, it has seemed that all athletes not only embrace the far-left point of view, but that they consider it appropriate to physically genuflect to the pro-criminal Marxist black supremacists who spent much of 2020 rioting, looting, and destroying our country. But individuals still exist, even in an age of conformity and collectivism. However, nails that stand up are quickly hammered down.

Army vet and Paralympian soccer player Seth Jahn was thrown off the Athlete Council of the US Soccer Federation, explicitly for racism, for making a statement against giving the green light for American athletes to kneel to Black Lives Matter when the national anthem is played.

Despite getting in big trouble, John refused to issue the standard groveling apology.

Via Fox News:

“I will never apologize for the statements I made, and will never bow down to the mob mentality of intimidation, bullying or the social media warrior’s gestapo tactics. I’m embarrassed to represent a hypocritical federation that conducts a complete assault on diversity of thought without even seeking clarifying statements from me in their smear campaign. I’m embarrassed at the cowardice of so-called friends who bent over to the mob, knowing very well the quality of my character, in order to preserve their own image,” Jahn wrote.

Jahn has received what he describes as overwhelming support, but he has also received over 30 death threats. He denies that he said anything “racist,” not that the word has any meaning at this point.

“The one point I will clarify is that when I stated that a small percentage of people in our country are responsible for the terrors of slavery hundreds of years ago, of which 400,000+ men died to abolish under our nation’s flag, I was in no way minimizing the horrors of slavery, I was simply illuminating the misplaced rage and squandered opportunities to bring to light the tens of millions of people who are enslaved TODAY … more so than any point in history.”

A little background on Jahn:

He was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan three times and was injured in 2010. He started training with the U.S. Paralympics National Soccer Team in 2014 and competed for Team SOCOM in the 2013 Warriors Games. He also competed for Team USA in the 2016 Paralympics.

None of this counts in the eyes of the Athlete Council. He stands denounced as a racist and is no longer a member of polite society.

That’s why athletes who don’t have guts kneel.

Germany: 12 years in prison for 34 stabbings are not severe enough for her family – Iraqi considered the murder victim his property

A young woman, butchered to death with 34 stab wounds and cuts. Is this truly ” just” manslaughter?

No, says the family of Fatemeh B. († 28). “The man must never get out of prison ever again!”

On Wednesday, the appeal trial against Zyad S. (24) started at the Regional Court of Lübeck. In the first instance, the Iraqi was sentenced to twelve years in prison.

Manslaughter, that was the court’s verdict at the time. Not murder.

The joint plaintiffs are Fatemeh’s father Kheirollah (60) and sister Sara (24). Their lawyer, the representative of the plaintiffs, Sebastian Brill, explains on behalf of his clients: “Fatemeh felt comfortable in Germany, she enjoyed her freedom.

But according to the prosecution, the Iraqi did not want to grant this freedom to his girlfriend, with whom he had been dating for three months.

His motive for the murder: Zyad S. had considered Fatemeh to be his property.

Lawyer Brill on his successful appeal to the Federal Supreme Court: “The Federal Supreme Court ruled that the first instance had not sufficiently taken jealousy and insidiousness into account.”

The crime: Zyad S. had lured his victim to a dirt road near Heiligenhafen at night and stabbed her to death.

Beforehand, according to the accused, Fatemeh had said that she would cheat on him – “I was as angry as I had never been in my life. Then there came the stabbings.”

Witnesses to the young woman’s alleged statement? Absolutely none.

Trial continues.
