An ex-member of the banned terrorist organisation “Islamkreis Hildesheim” will stand trial at the Higher Regional Court in Celle on Monday, April 19, 2021. The 38-year-old is accused of supporting the terrorist militia Islamic State (IS). His brother is said to be a high-ranking member of the terrorist militia.

According to the public prosecutor’s office, the accused is said to have supported the terror militia via Germany for years, reports the news agency dpa. According to the report, the brothers belonged for a long time to the now banned German-speaking Islamkreis Hildesheim – an association that is said to have encouraged numerous people to join the terror militia under the leadership of the now convicted preacher Abu Walaa*.

The accused is said to have substituted for his brother in Germany after his departure with a general power of attorney as an “asset manager” and to have aided him logistically and financially. He sent several thousand euros as well as smartphones and tablets to Syria through middlemen, according to the indictment.

As the news agency dpa further reports, the accused is also alleged to have organised the departure of the brother’s wife with their four minor children to Syria. The 38-year-old has been in custody since the end of July last year.

A small parking ticket, a very expensive Mercedes SUV and a lot of trouble: up to 100 men and women gathered in Essen on Saturday, and finally the police temporarily arrested three men.

What was going on?

Two employees of the public order office (26, 50) were checking parked cars at 5.30 pm. When they wanted to ticket the black Mercedes ( worth 100,000 euros), they were threatened by the three occupants, the police reported.

The women barricaded themselves in the patrol car, one of the opponents made their car rock, another quickly mounted the licence plate (registration: Switzerland) from the off-road vehicle. When the police arrived, the trio and the car had disappeared.

One and a half hours later, however, one of the meter maids recognised one of the perpetrators (29) – in a crowd of people who cared neither about keeping their distance nor about wearing face masks.

The German-Moroccan, who is known to the police officers because of similar deployments and allegedly lives in Switzerland in the meantime, was arrested by police officers who were called in.

Then the situation escalated completely!

Police spokeswoman Sylvia Czapiewski (44): “Several people then joined forces and approached the officers in a threatening manner, demanding that they let go of the 29-year-old. A 40-year-old finally attacked the police officer who was detaining the 29-year-old German-Moroccan and tore him away from him, allowing him to flee in the commotion.”

When more police cars approached, many of those present fled. The 40-year-old man of Lebanese origin was temporarily arrested, as was a man (25) of Turkish origin. A 20-year-old German who had filmed the arrest was also taken to the police station.

The three men and the man who escaped in a Mercedes are now facing charges for assaulting police officers, resisting arrest, coercion and freeing a prisoner. A manhunt is on for the 29-year-old.

Hesse’s Ministry of Education advises teachers that the use of Mohammed cartoons in class could be dangerous – a highly controversial move. Some teachers think: After the murder of Samuel Paty, such depictions should be discussed all the more.

Hesse’s Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs wrote to the 1800 school headmasters in the state that there were disturbing “indications/suggestions in connection with the discussion of the murder of the French teacher Samuel Paty”.

Referring to a suggestion by the State Office of Criminal Investigation (LKA), it says: “Showing the Mohammed cartoons or any pictorial representation of the Prophet Mohammed can be interpreted as behaviour critical of Islam, which can have an emotionalising and, under certain circumstances, mobilising as well as radicalising effect on the target group, including pupils.”

The Hessian warning is the only one of its kind in Germany so far. Although the “hints/suggestions” are cautiously worded, the message is clear, according to migration researcher Ruud Koopmans of the Science Centre Berlin: “No teacher will dare to show the cartoons after reading the letter.”

If Sweden’s Moderate Party wins the next election in Sweden, the parts of the current left-wing government’s new migration law that increase immigration will be scrapped, said opposition leader Ulf Kristersson.

Last week, the government presented its proposal for a new migration policy. Among other things, the government wants temporary residence permits for migrants as the new standard and requires that those migrants who apply for a permanent residence, for example, can support themselves.

However, Sweden’s left-wing government also wants to introduce a “humanitarian protection basis” to enable people who lack “security” to still be allowed to stay in Sweden. This new proposal affects the so-called unaccompanied minors who are covered by the Upper Secondary School Act.

Minister for Migration Morgan Johansson (Social Democrats) has called this “the strictest refugee legislation in 40 years in Sweden, and also stricter than the EU average”. 

However, leader of the Sweden Democrats (SD) Jimmie Åkesson says that such claims are a mirage and said he believes that the government’s proposal will lead to increased immigration. SD wants a complete stop to permanent residence permits for migrants.

On Sunday, the Green Party’s spokesperson, Märta Stenevi, also a government minister, and the Moderate Party’s Ulf Kristersson met in SVT’s Agenda to debate the law. Kristersson also believes that the proposal will lead to more immigration and pointed out, among other things, the humanitarian protection basis that opens up the possibility for unaccompanied minors to stay.

“There are 8,000 such people. It also sends a signal that you can stay in Sweden even without proving protection reasons, which in turn will make even more people apply to Sweden,” said the Moderate Party leader.

“In practice, it will be an amnesty for people who have been here for a long time and who can claim that it would be a shame to send them out of the country,” he warned.

When asked directly about the proposal leading to increased immigration, Stenevi answered: “Not to any great extent, no. We will not know because this is about individual assessments in individual cases.”

“What we have said together with the Liberals, Christian Democrats and Sweden Democrats is that the bad parts of this proposal, which increase immigration to Sweden in a situation where it should be reduced, we will tear up after the election,” announced Kristersson.

“I think it is wrong to measure the degree of humanity in how many people get the right to come to Sweden. Sweden has partial responsibility for a broken world, without a doubt — as a rich country we have partial responsibility. But we have full responsibility for how things go in Sweden. If we do not take that responsibility, things will go really, really badly in Sweden,“ said the Moderate Party leader.

“But should Sweden not be this great humanitarian power anymore?“ asked host Anna Hedenmo.

“If you mean that Sweden should receive a larger proportion of all people who seek asylum in the Nordic countries or in Europe, then we should not be,” he concluded.

Erdogan’s trolls are still allowed to pretend to be ” statesmanlike” in the left-wing-liberal-governed Rhineland-Palatinate: Although the Islamic association Ditib, controlled by the Turkish government, invited a known Turkish anti-Semite and homophobe to an event, State Premier Malu Dreyer’s government wants to stick to a target agreement that stipulates Ditib’s influence on Islamic religious education in the state’s schools as well as on the planned teacher training in Islamic theology at the University of Koblenz.

The fact that in future the largest German mosque association, de facto controlled by the Turkish religious authority Diyanet (and thus the fascist Erdogan regime), will thus gain influence in matters of state authority, indoctrinate children in schools and be involved in state teacher training, is a scandal and a persistent nuisance which, despite new provocations, continues to loom large.

Since 2018, the Ditib headquarters has been listed by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution as a suspected case of Ditib imams having close ties to the Turkish secret service and the radical Islamist Muslim Brotherhood. There have been repeated incidents of glorification of war and anti-Semitic and anti-Kurdish incitement in the association’s environment.

At an online event last month, Ahmet Simsirgil, head of the Ditib regional association in Rhineland-Palatinate, finally disqualified himself as a partner of a constitutional state under the rule of law: The dubious scientist is notorious for homophobic and anti-Semitic views as well as conspiracy theories.

But instead of sending a really overdue stop signal here, Dreyer’s Social Democratic Party (SPD) Science Minister Konrad Wolf wants to continue negotiating with Ditib in order to achieve the goal of “joint cooperation in Islamic religious education”.

Wolf, of all people, had initially demanded “consequences”. Apparently Dreyer brought him back into line – or the Ditib association lulled him back into line during a crisis meeting held yesterday in Mainz. Apparently, Rhineland-Palatinate still does not want to learn from the example of the neighbouring state of Hesse, which ended all cooperation with Ditib two years ago and thus sent an important signal against Islamism.

A Sky employee who told a colleague that two young girls wearing short skirts would be raped ‘if this was Pakistan‘ has won an unfair dismissal case. 

Retail advisor Raja Minhas, 44, made the comments about the teenagers as they walked past his shopping centre stand in Blackburn, Lancashire, in June 2019.

He was accused of saying that ‘girls in general who wear skirts like that and then get raped, it’s their own fault’, the tribunal heard.

Mr Minhas was working with his colleague, Mia Klemetti, at the time to drum up business for Sky products, the hearing was told.

The alleged comments sparked a heated row between Mr Minhas and Ms Klemetti, who said she would ‘rethink’ what she would wear when she worked with him again.
