An unpleasant surprise awaited a British family traveling on holiday to the French coast near Nantes after two young men jumped out of a roof cargo box on top of their car during a break on the long journey.

The 16-year-old migrants thought they were in the UK, but instead only manged to get further away from the French port of Calais, where they had first hid inside the car’s cargo box, French radio station France Bleue reported.

The moment during which the two teenagers, probably from Guinea and Eritrea, climbed out of the car box, was filmed by the driver’s daughter. The video shows them getting out of the car box, with the angry and frightened driver shouting at them.

“What the f**k are you doing?” one of family members asks the migrants as they clamber out.

“Have you nicked anything? Have you stolen anything? Where’s all our stuff?” They are heard asking.

As soon as the two migrants found out that they are not in the UK, they put on their hoods and decided to walk away as if nothing had happened.

French police said the two migrants probably got in the car box when the family made a stop in Calais after passing through the Eurotunnel. The migrants saw the British license plate and climbed into the car box, unaware that the vehicle was heading further away from the UK.

To make room, they also threw the family’s possessions out of the car box, leading to the family losing some of their belongings right at the beginning of their vacation.

Police then detained the migrants and transferred them to a charity center. The family has filed a complaint of theft against the two migrants with the French police.

Images of an illegal migrant landing that took place on 28 July on the most popular beach among shocked tourists and holiday makers, was broadcast by Italian CorriereTV. But the government is instead concerned about the politician who had tried to stop these illegal landings.

Migrant landings in Lampedusa have continued non-stop, even as the Italian island is struggling with the continuous arrivals of small boats leaving from Tunisia. Some 26 illegals arrived undisturbed directly on the beach of the Isola dei Conigli, the most popular beach, debarking while the incredulous bathers watched the spectacle.

A few moments later a Coast Guard patrol boat reached the boat, just as a police van arrived. Within 20 minutes two other boats arrived at different points on the island, with 66 migrants on board in total.

In the early morning seven other ships had disembarked, three of which arrived directly on the shore. Because the reception center in the Imbriacola district is already overcrowded, the illegals were transferred to other centres.

To make matters wore, there are migrants who have tested positive for Covid-19 at the Lampedusa centre. On Friday, at least two foreigners were transferred by means of a helicopter of the Guardia di Finanza. The number of girls and women who are victims of female genital mutilation (FGM) in Germany has increased by 44 percent since 2017 to 68,000, announced German Minister for Family Affairs Franziska Giffey.

According to the minister, mainly migration is to blame for the massive increase as many migrants coming to Germany commonly practice FGM in their own home countries. The practice, which is a human rights violation, involves the ritual cutting off some or all of the external female genitalia.

Giffey confirmed that the increase in cases compared to 2017 is so significant because of the rising numbers of immigrants from Eritrea, Somalia, Indonesia, Egypt, and Nigeria arriving in Germany,

The government report further estimates that almost 15,000 girls in Germany may be at risk of undergoing the procedure, including girls who are also second-generation citizens whose parents migrated to Germany, which demonstrates the practice has not faded despite some families living in Germany for years.

Giffey said that it was an “archaic, terrible human rights violation” that produces serious physical and psychological damage to the women who experience it, according to Die Welt. 

In the broader world, 90 percent of girls are circumcised in some countries, according to the children’s aid organization Unicef. About 200 million women around the world have gone through the female genital cutting, the World Health Organization estimates.

“Female genital mutilation is a serious violation of human rights and an archaic crime that violates girls’ and women’s right to physical integrity and sexual self-determination,” said Minister Giffey.

The German family minister declared that her goal is to protect girls and young women from such practice, as well as offer them help.

“It has lifelong physical and psychological consequences for those affected,” warned Giffey, calling on local communities to introduce measures that would prevent the rising number of FGM victims.

In Germany, Fadumo Korn is committed to raising the issue of FGM practices while serving as the chairwoman of the association NALA – Education Instead of Circumcision. She came to Germany from Somalia 40 years ago in Berlin and during Giffey’s press conference described what happened to her as a child, saying, “I was robbed of my femininity at the age of seven.”

In the steppes of Somalia, she was held by two women without any anesthesia and circumcised with a razor blade.

“You can’t imagine that (…) There is no word that can describe this pain if you have your organs cut out without anesthesia,” she described.

Following the procedure, she almost died after falling into a coma, but has since used her experience to warn Germans and others about the dangers of the practice, saying that it is a “powerful tradition” in many countries that continue till this day.

Former President Bill Clinton was on convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s island with “two young girls,” according to witness testimony from 2011. That testimony was part of recently unsealed court documents in the case.

“Yes, I do,” she answered. “It was a laugh though. He would laugh it off. You know, I remember asking Jeffrey what’s Bill Clinton doing here [on Epstein’s island] kind of thing, and he laughed it off and said well he owes me favors.”

“He never told me what favors they were,” Giuffre added. “I never knew. I didn’t know if he was serious. It was just a joke… He told me a long time ago that everyone owes him favors. They’re all in each other’s pockets.”

“When you say you asked him ‘why is Bill Clinton here,’ where was here?” Scarola continued.

“On the island,” she answered.

“When you were present with Jeffrey Epstein and Bill Clinton on the island, who else was there?” Scarola asked next.

Giuffre replied, “Ghislaine [Maxwell], Emmy, and there was two young girls that I could identify. I never really knew them well anyways. It was just 2 girls from New York.”
