Brutal attack on a referee at the district league soccer game of TSV Eller 04 II against Garather SV on Sunday in Düsseldorf. After his yellow-red card a Garather player beat the referee Seyit C. (59 y/o).

“I fell on my back and couldn’t breathe anymore”, Seyit C. told the newspaper Rheinische Post, adding:”I had already had to send one player off the pitch early because of repeated foul play. The player who was cautioned and then attacked me, I sent him off the field after another foul. Then the blows began to beat him and the referee fell to the ground. With a crushed larynx, the man is taken to the university hospital. The perpetrator, a Syrian (23 y/o) without current residence permit, jumps into his car, flees, but is quickly caught. He is under investigation for dangerous bodily injury. On Monday he was brought before the magistrate because of the risk of absconding, but he remained at large.Peter Heinen (56 y/o), first chairman of Garather SV, said to the tabloid BILD: “The player does not have to appear on the premises of our football club for the rest of his life”.

BUSTED on Hot Mic: PA Gov. Wolf and Elected Crony Laughing About Masks as ‘Political Theater’

If this video doesn’t get your blood pressure up after months of being forced to wear masks “for your safety,” then you’re probably dead already from the Chinese WuFlu (or at least that’s what the coroner scribbled on your death certificate).

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf and Representative Wendy Ullman (D-Bad People) were caught on a hot mic giggling about the “political theater” they were about to partake in at a press conference. Wolf is heard telling Ullman he’s going to take off his mask to speak while Ullman responds that she’s going to keep hers on for the cameras to make sure people see her in it. “I’m waiting so we can do a little political theater,” she says, laughing. “So it’s on camera!”

In other words, it’s all a game and you’re the butt of the joke. Enjoy this sh*tshow while I contemplate throwing a brick through a window somewhere.

2020, the year China defeated the West

by Giulio Meotti

The admiration that Western elites have for exotic dictatorships is long and never ending and the Western fascination with communism remains one of the puzzles of our century. Andy Warhol even made Mao a pop icon. It does not matter that everybody knows the Chinese regime’s numerous abuses; our hypnosis remains intact.

That time of romanticism is gone. There is no longer even that in China. Its former slums have become hypermodern giants of steel and glass and the country’s economic growth today is three times that of the United States. Half of the world’s cars, 80 percent of its computers, 90 percent of telephones and basic medicines are now manufactured in China.

No other country has ever achieved such rapid social and economic progress over such a short period of time. China has built the longest highway system in the world, the largest high-speed rail network in the world, and enough homes to move 600 million people from the countryside to the cities. Beijing dreams of the “overtaking” of the West.

Times have changed in China. But there are still many “useful idiots” in the West.

Chinese efficiency in containing Covid has been admired, from the construction of hospitals in a week to the quarantine imposed on sixty million people in Hubei, to the export of medical supplies to the rest of the world, making people forget the Chinese responsibilities in the origin of the virus – the criminal censorship of the regime in the first month of the epidemic, the disappearance of many witnesses among doctors and journalists.

“China is building a post-American world order,” political scientist Nathan Gardels explained in the Washington Post. For this reason, the Chinese alternative to the West and the United States could only find fertile ground in a Western public opinion that has always been seduced and attracted by self-hatred and anti-Americanism.

The Vatican’s agreement with the People’s Republic of China for the recognition of bishops appointed by the Communist Party and not by Rome has greatly helped Beijing to free itself from criticism of its mistreatment of religious freedom. The pact aims to resolve the historical division between the “underground Church”, whose bishops are approved by Rome and rejected by Beijing, and the Chinese “official Church” not recognized by the Vatican.

During the Cold War, some cardinals in Rome tried to tame the Soviet Union. In Czechoslovakia, the Vatican prohibited the clandestine ordination of priests who operated outside the government-approved hierarchy. The Vatican also sidelined the famous anti-Communist Hungarian archbishop József Mindszenty in favor of a deal with the regime. With the election of Polish cardinal Karol Wojtyla, who took the name of Pope John Paul II, the Vatican changed policy, while its head of doctrine, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger – and future Pope Benedict XVI – rejected Marxism.

Pope Benedict XVI himself saw the danger of China. “I believe that the fundamental ideological tendencies of Marxism have survived the fall of the political form they have had to face up to now”, said Ratzinger. “We must not forget that important countries are governed by Marxist parties: China, Vietnam, North Korea, Cuba.” Now the Vatican openly appeases China.

China is infiltrating the European political class by funding political parties and inviting European politicians to China. President Xi Jinping even donated a statue of Karl Marx, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of his birth, to the German city of Trier.

Beijing has bought and invested in assets worth at least $318 billion over the past decade, 45 percent more than the United States. The Chinese consensus in Europe travels on mega investments, on Xi’s ability to present himself as a champion of globalization in the liberal financial coterie of Davos.

European universities are now heavily infiltrated by China, through donations, the Confucius Institute and academic agreements.

China, which boasts the highest prison rate of journalists in the world, has managed to enter into agreements with major European television and news agencies for the broadcast of its propaganda services in foreign countries.

Beijing has been able to penetrate international institutions, starting with the United Nations, presenting itself as the great standard-bearer of that “multilateralism” which has always attracted Westerners in an anti-American key and which allows China to dominate the international scene (just think of the management scandal in WHO during the Covid-19 pandemic). Xi made it clear to Congress that China will work to promote “a new form of international relations” and build “a community with a shared future for humanity.” Seductive formulas, to say the least, for a post-Western Europe.

China has brilliantly studied Western pathologies, such as its “identity politics” and multiculturalism, an authentic civil religion in Europe and now the US, with the result that the least diversified nation in the world that has detention camps for Muslims, Christians, Tibetan monks and Falun Gong, today manages to present itself as the victim of Western racism and xenophobia.

Take what has happened in the last year:

-China crushed the resistance of Hong Kong.

-It bears very serious responsibility for Covid.

-It is now threating Taiwan.

-It promoted a campaign of forced abortions and forced sterilization of the Uighurs, managing to silence Europe’s criticism.

-It signed a pact of submission with the Vatican.

2020 will be remembered as the year China defeated the West.

MSM inadvertently declare Trump the winner last night — by urging Biden to boycott next 2 scheduled debates

By Thomas Lifson

It’s crystal clear that the media branch of the Democrat party thinks that Joe Biden blew it last night and damaged his electoral prospects in the first of 3 scheduled debates with President Trump. There seems to be pretty widespread consensus on the left that when it comes to Biden, the less voters know about him by watching him in a presidential spotlight, the better.

Fox News has assembled a large number of calls on Biden to go back to his basement on the next two debate nights, October 15 and 22.

CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer kicked off the network’s post-debate coverage by pondering about the future of the Trump-Biden face-offs.

“It will certainly raise a lot of questions … about the future of presidential debate between these two candidates. I wouldn’t be surprised, by the way, if this is the last presidential debate between the president of the United States and the former vice president of the United States,” Blitzer said.

At rabidly anti-Trump CNN, Blitzer had company:

“Should there be other debates?” CNN anchor Anderson Cooper asked. “The vice-presidential debate is next and there’s supposed to be two more debates.”

“I have to say I don’t think the country is going to be yearning for another one of these,” CNN analyst David Axelrod responded. “I think Biden has a decision to make.”

MSNBC was not about to let CNN steal the no-more-debates show:

“This is a disgrace, a low point in American debate history. There is no reason, not one, that Joe Biden should participate in another debate,” MSNBC host Joe Scarborough tweeted. (snip)

Cancel the remaining debates,” former MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry said. “The debates are now a danger to public safety and a direct threat to Black life. Cancel the debates.”

Only one MSNBC commentator, former McCain campaign official Nicole Wallace, saw the downside of bugging out:

During MSNBC’s post-debate coverage, “ReidOut” host Joy Reid questioned her colleague Nicolle Wallace, who has worked on presidential campaigns in the past, if Biden should bother showing up to the next debate.

“If you were Joe Biden’s team, would you do another one?” Reid asked.

Wallace quickly answered that Biden needs to fulfill his commitment.

“Joe Biden has to go because you don’t stand up to a bully, who is trying to do whatever he’s doing, lift his leg and pee on our democracy, by not showing up and standing up to the bully,” Wallace said. “You stand there because you made a deal and you hold up your end of the deal.”

Lefty print journalists saw the downside of more debates worse than the downside of breaking a commitment:

The liberal magazine The Atlantic ran an op-ed with the headline “Cancel the debates.”

“Tonight was the first presidential debate of the 2020 election, and if there is any sense or mercy left in this nation, it will be the last, too,” Atlantic staff writer David Graham wrote. (snip)

Slate ran a similar piece with the headline “Cancel the Rest of the Debates.”

My own take is that Biden has almost no enthusiastic supporters. His support comes from people who hate Trump, many of them because of his abrasive style. They are not highly motivated, to say the least. Last night, Biden demonstrated that when it comes to rudeness, he is at least the equal of Donald Trump. So, if getting rid of rudeness is the motivation, there is no reason to bother voting for Biden.

Germany: Previously convicted Syrian for putting counterfeit money into circulation only sentenced to a ridiculous suspended sentence and community service

The district court of Freudenstadt sentenced a 21-year-old asylum seeker from Syria to a 16-month suspended sentence and 150 hours of community service. He had ordered counterfeit 50 and 200 euro bills in China.

In the course of the trial before the Court of lay assessors, the man had confessed more than the court had been able to prove. The case, which was just about to be judged a minor case, ended with a suspended sentence. Due to his full confession, the judge did not consider him a ” ice-cold, hardened gangster”. His offense is made noticeable by the fact that he has to serve a total of 150 community service hours. He agreed to the sentence. In January, the 21-year-old had ordered 20 fake 50 euro bills and another 200 euro bills via the app “Wish” in China, which he received in a traceable manner by evaluating his cell phone data. He went shopping with two of these fake 50s and was successful in one case, receiving a pack of cigarettes and the change. With the second attempt to procure cigarettes with the counterfeit money, the store owner became suspicious due to the missing silver lining and called the police. The young Syrian then left the store in a hurry, but could be caught on the basis of his fingerprints. According to his statement to the police, he claims to have burned the remaining banknotes. In court, however, he testified that he had given them to friends to destroy. The police investigator reported about increased number of incidents of this kind, where cheap replicas of euro notes with Chinese characters appeared. The man from Syria came as a 15-year-old alone with traffickers via Greece and Turkey to Germany. He speaks well German, but did not manage to graduate from a Freudenstadt educational institution. He had obtained the counterfeit money because he had no income at that time and the job center had blocked his payments because he had not participated in compulsory measures. For 14 days, he said, he had been working as a warehouse clerk in a mail order company in Lahr via a temporary employment agency. For counterfeiting and fraud, the prosecutor said, a prison sentence of up to five years was to be imposed. In favor of the accused his comprehensive confession was considered, incriminating for him were several previous convictions with a high recidivism rate, which he had committed as a juvenile. The accused was sentenced to one year and four months with probation, as demanded by the prosecutor. During the two-year probation period, he is placed under the supervision of a probation officer and must serve 150 hours of community service on weekends. He remains at large, so the argumentation of judge Jennifer Dallas-Buob – if nothing more happens.

The debate? Trump was great, Chris Wallace was a dreadful disgrace

By Patricia McCarthy

Chris Wallace’s overt defense of Joe Biden throughout the debate on Tuesday night was so obvious, so blatant, he should be proscribed from ever “moderating” a debate again.

Wallace’s performance was as Biden’s protector, his advocate, and that is undeniable.  He stepped in at every moment Biden seemed lost: court-packing, lack of support of law enforcement, and Hunter’s criminality.

The debate was so poorly managed.  The questions were designed to aid Biden, to coddle him.  No wonder Trump felt duty-bound to interrupt.  Trump was debating both Wallace and Biden and only one of them is sentient.

Wallace’s intent was clear – sabotage Trump.  Wallace succeeded only in looking like the stooge he is.

Why a two-minute rule?  That hardly gives either man time to rebut what was just said about him.  Wallace even brought up the Charlottesville charge but did not admit it was a manufactured lie without giving Trump the time to deny the lie.

Wallace completely ignored and tried to derail Trump’s bringing up Hunter Biden’s criminal corruption.  Why was that not a viable subject for discussion?  Biden lied when he said Hunter had been cleared.  Not so.  Biden has a long history of lying and financial corruption.  Should that fact not be up for review for a candidate for president?  If Biden were a Republican, you can bet it would.

Wallace should be fired for his wholesale lack of objectivity.  He’s become a cut-rate Dan Rather.

Trump made important points, all of which Wallace tried to mitigate:  Voter fraud is real and is being perpetrated by Democrats throughout the country.

Biden tried to insist that the violence being visited upon Democrat-run cities across the nation was by white supremacist groups, a total lie that Wallace let stand.

Biden is looking forward to shutting down the economy for COVID and implementing a mask mandate.

Biden is not supported by law enforcement anywhere in the country for obvious reasons and Obamacare was and remains a disaster.

Wallace, a member in good standing of the mainstream media is a handmaiden of the Democrat party in which winning by any means necessary is the rule.  Wallace’s bias for Biden was appalling.

Climate change!  Who on earth at this moment in time thinks this is an important topic for discussion?  No one but the moonbat Greta Thunbergs of the climanistas.  No one.  Biden’s green new deal would put millions of Americans who work in the fuel industry out of work.  The left’s embrace of this nonsense has left California with rolling blackouts.  Wallace did not question Biden’s lack of understanding of the impact his green new deal would have on the economy.  Wallace was for Biden, not America.

Why no questions on school choice?  On the border and illegal immigration which Biden supports?  On the necessity of ending the lockdowns that have caused much more death and destruction than COVID?  On the Biden “I am the Democratic Party right now”? On his family’s mysteriously ill-gotten wealth in the multi-millions?  Wallace was not going to let any of those issues come to the fore.

He  is a naked partisan who is invested only in his own illegitimate primacy as a member of the army of the left in good standing; that would be the swamp, the deep state.  Wallace perpetrated the Charlottesville lie and he knows very well that it is a lie.   Trump had to interrupt to get a word in edgewise in his own defense.  Again, Wallace was a despicably partisan moderator.  He tried to throw the debate to Biden and so made Trump the clear winner.  Trump had to fight the only way open to him, by interrupting the two people wrangling to sabotage him.  Wallace’s transparent protective bias was appalling.

All of which makes us wonder, is there a moderator that can legitimately host a debate?  Yes.  Hugh Hewitt comes to mind.  Larry Arnn of Hillsdale,  a constitutional scholar would ask the right questions in a civil manner.  There are numerous brilliant people who could and would conduct a legitimate debate but Chris Wallace proved himself not among them.  He has shamed himself and Fox News.  His attempt at being a bulwark in Biden’s defense was shameless.

It was Wallace who made the debate something of a farce; he left Trump no path but to try and refute the lies in his questions and Biden’s responses.  Am guessing Chris Wallace is now dead to vast numbers of conservatives who once upon a time respected him.  After this debate, they respect him no more.

Trump-Biden Showdown in Cleveland – Candidates exchange insults as Biden tries to distance himself from leftist agenda

President Donald Trump and his Democratic challenger, former Vice President Joe Biden, faced off head to head in the first of three presidential debates Tuesday night, which was held in Cleveland, Ohio. The 90-minute debate was moderated by Fox News anchor Chris Wallace. The two candidates often spoke over each other, with Chris Wallace at times acting like a school disciplinarian trying to break up a street brawl.

President Trump displayed strength and energy in going after Biden on a host of issues. “I’ve done more in 47 months than you’ve done in 47 years,” Trump declared. “47 years, you have done nothing,” Trump added.

The good news for Biden is that he held his own and survived to fight another day. Biden showed exasperation at being frequently interrupted. “You shut up, man,” Biden told Trump after one such interruption. On other occasions, Biden lobbed insults at Trump, calling him a clown, “Putin’s puppy,” a liar, a racist and the “worst president” in American history. “Under this president, we’ve become weaker, sicker, far more divided and more violent,” Biden said. At times, Biden simply ignored Trump’s jabs and looked directly into the camera to address the millions of people watching from home.

Biden came close to losing his cool when Trump hectored Biden repeatedly over his son Hunter’s shady business dealings in China, Russia and Ukraine while his father was serving in the Obama administration as vice president. The mainstream media in the tank for Joe Biden’s candidacy have done their level best to bury the facts about Hunter Biden’s alleged corruption, but Trump was not about to let the issue go unmentioned.

Biden denied that Hunter had done anything wrong, claiming that the allegations were untrue and had been “totally discredited.” Biden tried at one point to pivot away from his troubled son Hunter to invoke the memory of his late son Beau Biden, who had served in the military. He used Beau as a segue way to criticizing Trump for reportedly calling members of the American military who lost their lives “losers” and “suckers” – a charge that Trump denied. Biden then tried to change the subject by declaring that the campaign is not about either candidate’s family. “It’s about your family,” Biden said, addressing the television audience. “The American people. He doesn’t want to talk about what you need.”

Perhaps the most significant challenge for Joe Biden coming out of the debate was whether he will be able to hold on to major support from the progressive left base of his party after his attempt to distance himself from key planks of the progressive agenda. Biden said that he did not support the Green New Deal. Biden’s running mate Senator Kamala Harris, who referred to a “Harris administration” during a virtual roundtable, is an unequivocal supporter of the Green New Deal. At one point, Biden said that he favored “law and order” and praised most police as good people. He refused to say whether he supported progressive initiatives to eliminate the Senate filibuster and to pack the Supreme Court when asked by Chris Wallace. “I’m not going to answer the question,” Biden said.

When Trump suggested that the Democratic Party base would press Biden to abolish private health insurance and adopt socialized medicine, Biden denied the charge and retorted that “My party is me. Right now, I’m the Democratic Party.” It did not sound very convincing, but Biden’s puppet masters will not be happy. “Your party wants to go socialist,” Trump said. “They’re going to dominate you, Joe, you know that.”

Biden straddled the issue of quelling violent protests. He would not answer Chris Wallace’s question as to whether he had ever called the Democratic governor of Oregon or the mayor of Portland to suggest they bring in the National Guard or otherwise do whatever was necessary to stop the street violence. “I don’t hold public office,” Biden replied. “I am a former vice president.” But he expressed his opposition to violence in general terms.

Chris Wallace tried to operate largely within the framework of themes that he had announced prior to the debate – the Trump and Biden records, the Supreme Court, Covid-19, the economy, race and violence in our cities, and the integrity of the election. However, as happens with new developments right before a debate, Wallace veered off script. Wallace asked Trump about a lengthy New York Times report, published online two days before the debate, that the president had allegedly paid little or no federal income taxes for years due to huge business loss tax write-offs. The article highlighted its claim that Trump paid only $750 in federal income taxes the year he won the presidential election in 2016 and $750 again during his first year in the White House. Trump said the report was false and that he had paid millions of dollars in income taxes.

Trump said that he had taken advantage of provisions in the tax code, some of which were written while Biden was a senator and vice president. All business leaders do the same “unless they are stupid,” he said. Ironically, it was the Obama-Biden administration that changed the tax rules to allow businesses to claim losses from two years to four years into the future.

Joe Biden tried to land some punches on this tax issue, using it to draw an unfavorable comparison between the $750 figure Trump allegedly paid in 2016 and 2017 to the far higher amounts in federal income taxes that everyday working Americans such as teachers pay. “Show us your tax returns,” Biden demanded.

Earlier in the day, Biden released his 2019 tax returns showing that he and his wife paid $299,346 in taxes and challenged Trump to do the same. But Biden did not pursue the point, missing an opportunity to define Trump as out of touch with ordinary Americans. In any case, the fact is that, since Trump became president, he has taken only $1 each year from his $400,000 annual salary and contributed the rest to various government agencies. According to Politifact, “Trump donated the last two quarters of his 2019 salary and his first quarter of his 2020 salary to the Department of Health and Human Services. The department is working on two issues that Trump designated for the funds: the opioid crisis and COVID-19.”

President Trump’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic was a prominent topic of the debate. Democrats are trying to make health care a top issue in the campaign, as they had successfully done in 2018 to capture the House of Representatives.

Joe Biden accused President Trump of mismanaging the pandemic and raising doubts about the advice of his own scientists, costing more than 200,000 American lives. Biden said that Trump “has no plan” in how to deal with the pandemic – a demonstrable falsehood.

Trump recited the steps his administration has taken to combat the coronavirus, starting with the restrictions he imposed on January 31st on travel from China where the virus originated. Biden initially opposed those restrictions, Trump said. If Biden had been president, Trump claimed, the country would have suffered at least two million deaths from the coronavirus.

“We got the gowns. We got the masks. We made the ventilators – you wouldn’t have made the ventilators – and now we’re weeks away from a vaccine,” Trump said. “You could have never done that job,” Trump added. Trump also said that Biden now wanted to shut down the entire country again, which would wreck the economy that was rebounding after businesses had reopened and Americans were returning to work.

Another flashpoint in the presidential debate was the impending Senate confirmation hearings and vote on President Trump’s nominee to fill the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat on the Supreme Court – federal Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Amy Coney Barrett. President Trump praised Judge Barrett’s record and defended his right to select her before the end of his term. “We won the election. Elections have consequences. We have the Senate, we have the White House, and we have a phenomenal nominee,” Trump said. “I’m not elected for three years, I’m elected for four years,” Trump added.

Joe Biden objected to moving forward so quickly on the eve of the election rather than giving the election winner the opportunity to select Justice Ginsburg’s replacement. Biden said he was especially concerned that, with Barrett sitting on the Supreme Court as another conservative justice before a constitutional challenge to the Affordable Care Act is heard on November 10th, the law known more popularly as Obamacare will be doomed. Biden predicted that Judge Barrett would vote to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, including its protections for women’s health and people with pre-existing condition, if confirmed to the Supreme Court.

Biden and his fellow Democrats are trying to scare voters into believing that Judge Barrett will help kill Obamacare and thereby take away Americans’ protections for pre-existing conditions. However, just because Barrett criticized in a law review article the reasoning of the Supreme Court opinion upholding the constitutionality of Obamacare eight years ago does not mean that she would take a sledgehammer to the law today. The Obamacare case now before the Supreme Court deals with whether the removal of the individual mandate and associated penalty clauses should invalidate the entire law. A conservative jurist could well decide that severing that one portion of the law should not affect the validity of the balance of the law.

Moreover, many individuals who did not receive subsidies under Obamacare were priced out of the market by high Obamacare exchange premiums and thus were not able to afford the Obamacare protections for pre-existing conditions. Trump said that he has a much better health care plan that would protect individuals with pre-existing conditions – a protection that the president has already incorporated into an executive order.

About race relations, Joe Biden portrayed himself as the good guy and President Trump as the villain. Trump retorted that Biden was responsible for the 1994 crime law that resulted in the mass incarceration of  African-Americans, which Trump managed to remedy with criminal reform legislation. When asked by Chris Wallace whether he was willing to condemn white nationalists, Trump replied that “I’m willing to do that” while noting that “almost everything I see is from the left wing. Not from the right.” Biden refused to condemn Antifa, claiming falsely that the radical left violent group was just an idea.

Finally, regarding the outcome of the election, President Trump raised his usual objections to the prospect of millions of unsolicited mail-in ballots floating around and indicated that the Supreme Court might ultimately have to get involved. Joe Biden defended mass mail-in voting and said that he was willing to abide by the results. That’s not a surprising answer when you know that the system may be rigged in your favor.

The first presidential debate was entertaining but probably did not change many voters’ minds. Two more presidential and one vice presidential debate to go.
