The police are looking for witnesses of an attack by two men on a wheelchair user. The man was injured in the attack on the Aldi parking lot at the street Adolf-Grimme-Ring in Kleinmachnow. The ambulance service was alerted to the incident on Saturday around 1:50 pm. Since it quickly became clear that the man was the victim of a crime, police from the Potsdam Inspection were called in, the police reported on Monday.
According to the victim, two men on bicycles had approached him. One of them deliberately brushed against him, shouted at him and insulted the physically and mentally obviously severely handicapped person. While one of the attackers suddenly kicked the victim in the face, the other one punched the 48-year-old in the face with his fist until he fell from his wheelchair onto the floor. The 48-year-old suffered head and facial injuries that had to be treated by rescue workers on site and later in a hospital. The perpetrators left the injured man lying there and fled in the direction of the street Förster-Funke-Allee.
Witnesses described one of the men as follows: about 25 years old, stocky, blue vest, green striped face mask, light blue baseball cap, spoke broken German. According to the witness, the man was of “Arabic phenotype”, according to the police. Information can be obtained by calling 0331 5508 0.
