Last Sunday afternoon, at about 03.30 pm, there was damage to property inside the church of St. Pankratius Church (photo above) on the street Unter den Ulmen in Gütersloh.

A witness heard loud noises coming from the church and thereupon noticed that already in the main entrance some property was devastated. Further inside, corner glazing was destroyed and an altar cloth and tablecloth were burned.

The witness also identified a 62-year-old woman who might possibly be connected to the crime. Investigations have been initiated and are ongoing.
