Last Friday shortly before 11 p.m. an altercation was reported in a tram that was driving out of town in the area of Halle Neustadt. A 32-year-old man got into an argument with two unknown perpetrators, the cause of which is still unknown. According to the current state of knowledge, a scuffle broke out, and the man from Halle suffered presumably stab wounds to his upper body. He was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
The police secured evidence on site and questioned witnesses. A search of the area surrounding the crime scene was negative. The unknown perpetrators are said to be young people of Arab appearance. They left the train and fled towards Gimmritzer Damm. An intensive investigation is underway for attempted homicide – call for witnesses:
