Last Friday shortly before 11 p.m. an altercation was reported in a tram that was driving out of town in the area of Halle Neustadt. A 32-year-old man got into an argument with two unknown perpetrators, the cause of which is still unknown. According to the current state of knowledge, a scuffle broke out, and the man from Halle suffered presumably stab wounds to his upper body. He was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

The police secured evidence on site and questioned witnesses. A search of the area surrounding the crime scene was negative. The unknown perpetrators are said to be young people of Arab appearance. They left the train and fled towards Gimmritzer Damm. An intensive investigation is underway for attempted homicide – call for witnesses:

Who could have possibly noticed anything that could be connected to the crime before the departure of the tram at the market place?
Who was in the tram of line 2 at the time of the crime and can give information about the course of events?
Who can provide information on the identity or whereabouts of the unknown perpetrators?
