Hundreds of his supporters gathered in front of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel at Potsdamer Square in Berlin yesterday during the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. When he arrived at the hotel and stopped briefly outside, a group from Erdoğanfans rushed to him and celebrated him with chants. Erdoğan supporters were seen with Turkish flags and portraits of the Turkish leader, who stopped before entering the venue to address the crowd in person. Many of them had Turkish flags with them, or East Turkestan flags to show solidarity with separatist Muslim Uighurs.
