Yesterday at about 03:00 p.m. a quarrel broke out between two people in a park, in the Robert-Koch-Street in Pasewalk. According to initial police findings, an at first verbal altercation escalated into a physical altercation. Subsequently, an 18-year-old was stabbed by the 30-year-old suspect (Syrian nationality) in the thigh of his right leg with a knife. The victim suffered stab wounds, which were diagnosed by doctors as not life threatening. Nevertheless, the stab wounds were quickly treated in the Pasewalk hospital, so that the injured person could leave the hospital in the evening. Details and background to this incident are still unclear at this time, and the criminal investigation department has begun investigations into dangerous bodily injury. The investigations are continuing.
