Yesterday, Wednesday, around 02:35 pm, two young girls (13/16 years old) became victims of a sexual offence and a bodily injury in the Botanical Garden in Mönchengladbach. The two girls had previously travelled with a twelve-year-old boy in the area of the main railway station. There they met the previously unknown, who later became the perpetrator and who approached the girls looking for contact. The 16-year-old purchased something with the young man in a shop. The group then went to the Botanical Garden together. Here the perpetrator expressed sexual intentions, which were rejected by the girls. Nevertheless, the young man touched both girls indecently above their clothes and showed himself to them in an indecent manner.He also knocked the 16-year-old to the ground. Then he fled. The immediate search for the previously unknown perpetrator was unsuccessful. He is described as follows: 20-24-year-old man, thin stature, about 180 cm tall, dark brown skin color, possibly North African phenotype, had a plaster on his left little finger. The man was dressed in a thin black Nike jacket, cargo pants with grey-white camouflage patterns and Nike shoes in white with red-black lines. On his left hand he wore a silver ring with a red stone. The two young girls were given into the care of legal guardians. During the examination of the twelve-year-old boy it turned out that he was reported missing and that he came from the district of Heinsberg. He was given into the care of person in charge.
