During a dispute in a bakery in the street Bahnhofstrasse in Delmenhorst, a 57-year-old Kosovo-Albanian attacked his two-year younger ex-wife with a knife and seriously injured her. While the man surrendered to the police after the crime on Monday evening, the woman was sent to a hospital, according to police reports on Tuesday. Investigations are under way for attempted manslaughter and dangerous bodily injury. The 57-year-old was to be brought before the magistrate on Tuesday. The man, who lives in Kosovo, had visited his ex-wife in Delmenhorst, who was also from Kosovo, when the dispute broke out.
