Yesterday evening on Tuesday, a 23-year-old Afghan and his 58-year-old German landlord quarreled. After the tenant had disturbed the peace of the house considerably recently, the 58-year-old tried to contact him. In the course of the conversation, the 23-year-old became violent and attacked his landlord. He punched him twice, and the 58-year-old fell to the ground. He then left the house and alerted the police. The 28-year-old daughter of the landlord and a 22-year-old roommate first tried to reassure the Afghan. This failed and the Afghan reached for a kitchen knife and stabbed the 28-year-old woman. The woman was injured on her back and neck. Two neighbours became aware of the dispute because of loud screams and came to the aid of the woman and the roommate.Together they overwhelmed the Afghan and were able to detain him until the police arrived. The Afghan was taken into temporary custody on the instructions of the public prosecutor’s office and is currently in police custody. The 28-year-old woman was taken from an ambulance to a hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, where she had to undergo emergency surgery. The forensic investigators secured traces on site. The questioning of the accused Afghan and the witnesses is still ongoing.
