A by his own account 16 year old Afghan citizen who lives as an asylum seeker in Germany has taken hostages and attacked policemen. A 16-year-old Afghan asylum seeker threatened several people with a deceptively genuine firearm and took a woman hostage on the market square in Mühldorf on the Inn/Upper Bavaria. The police, called in by eyewitnesses, were able to disarm the perpetrator after he was still brawling with the police officers, whom he attacked abruptly.After the disarmament it was determined that the deceptively genuine looking pistol was luckily “only” a replica.
