After an extensive investigation by the Villingen criminal investigation department, the competent district court issued an arrest warrant against a 33-year-old asylum seeker at the request of the Constance public prosecutor’s office. The 33-year-old Nigerian citizen is suspected of having raped a 20-year-old woman in Emil-Rehmann-Street in Donaueschingen  on Saturday, July 20. According to previous investigations, the 33-year-old woman is said to have been sexually abused in his apartment on Saturday evening, around 6 pm. The victim, who knew the man by sight, escaped in an unobserved moment and called the police.
