Two daycare centres in Leipzig have taken pork off their menu. According to newspaper Bild, due respect for two Muslim girls.”Out of respect for a changing world, only pork-free meals and snacks will be ordered and served as of July 15″, Bild quotes a letter from the management of the Confucius nursery and the Rolando Toro nursery to the parents.It also states that on birthdays, no sweets should be brought along that contain pork components such as gelatine. Jelly babies  are therefore also banned in the childcare facilities. The two kindergartens have a total of 300 children.
