Last Sunday morning at 5:55 a.m., an unknown person attacked a group of four people at Stuttgart Central Station with pepper spray and also injured an 18-year-old man. According to initial findings, the travellers aged 18 to 22 were in the suburban train area of the main station when an unknown man suddenly sprayed them with pepper spray. In the further course of the crime, the alleged perpetrator is said to have punched an 18-year-old man from the group in the face with his elbow. The persons suffered slight irritations of the eyes by the incident, which were treated by alarmed paramedics on site. The 18-year-old man suffered a bleeding lip and a haematoma on his nose as a result of the blow and was taken to hospital as a precaution. According to witnesses, the unidentified man escaped after the crime with a suburban train S1 in the direction of Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt. He is described as 20-26 years old, about 180cm tall, with short shaved hair and Afro-American phenotype. The man is also said to have two conspicuous scars on his forehead and in the area of his jaw. At the time of the crime, he was wearing jogging trousers with a baseball logo, a red top and a black belly bag.
