Last Saturday the police were called in for a brawl between two groups of people in the area of the town hall square Bad Homburg. When the patrols arrived, an injured person could be found. On questioning, the other persons still on the scene stated that shortly before that one had been attacked by 5-6 “dark-skinned” persons with sticks and that one of the attackers also had a knife in his hand. After the attack, the people fled in the direction of Hessenring. As part of the search, a piece of a broomstick with blood attached, which was presumably one of the weapons used, was found and seized. In addition, three persons suspected of having committed an offence were investigated in the immediate vicinity. Most of the persons involved and checked were alcoholized.
