After the homicide last Thursday, May 9, 2019, in the downtown area of Offenbach, investigators are now asking the population for help. The wanted person is the 42-year-old Mohammed Soultana, who currently has no permanent residence in Germany. A 44-year-old woman from Frankfurt had been shot in her car at about 7 p.m. on the evening of the crime in Luisen street. The victim had waited there by the side of the road in her car. The suspect comes from the immediate surroundings of the woman who wanted to pick up her son from sports class. As far as the investigators from the public prosecutor’s office and the criminal investigation department know, there was a violent dispute between the suspect and the 44-year-old before the crime. The exact background is still being determined. It is to be assumed, however, that the suspect suspected where he would meet his victim on Thursday evening and drove specifically to Luisen street. After the crime, the 42-year-old fled directly to Belgium, where his trace was lost. Since then he has been searched for. Mohammed Soultana is strikingly tall at 1.98 metres, has a sporty, muscular figure, dark curly, short hair and green eyes. It cannot be ruled out that he still carries the murder weapon with him. Therefore, witnesses should not approach him, but immediately inform the police about the emergency number 110. The Darmstadt public prosecutor’s office, Offenbach branch, has offered 3,000 euros for pertinent information.
