After shots were fired in Rüsselsheim, police officers have so far found two damaged cars in the area of the railway station and in the Wald street, as well as one person injured by a graze shot. The alarmed police have so far been able to arrest nine people. According to initial information, the arrested persons are members of an extended family with a migration background.A witness heard gunshot noises at the Europa square around 4 am this early Saturday morning. A group of 15 to 20 people then fled through the city centre in the direction of Wald street. The police have currently cordoned off the area around the Wald street for further investigations and searches.
