During the night from Thursday to Friday, a 35-year-old man harassed and insulted several travellers and bit a police officer in the hand. A traveller reported about 01:00 a. m. via the police alarm that he had been insulted and coerced by a man at the stop Stuttgart-Schwabstraße. An alarmed patrol of the Federal Police met the Somali citizen and arrested him temporarily. The man had already become conspicuous two hours earlier in an S2 suburban railway line to Stuttgart-Rohr, where, according to the current state of investigation, he was also harassing travellers. As a result, the police officers brought the man, who had been drunk with just under 3.4 per thousand, to the police station for sobering up. In the further course of the police action, the 35-year-old, who was known to the police, put up considerable resistance against the police measures and bit a police officer in the hand. Because he wore gloves, the Federal Police officer was unharmed by the incident. Among other things, the African man must now face an investigation on suspicion of insulting, coercing and assaulting executioners. In this context, the Federal Police are looking for witnesses and other possible injured parties. They are requested to call +49711870350.
