Germany: Left Islamist “students” hunt down courageous scholar at Frankfurt University

It doesn’t seem to be a massive protest, but it is a sign that some student guardians of public morals at the University of Frankfurt are watching over a code of morals according to which the headscarf must not be criticized. The Islamic scholar Susanne Schröter, who recently brilliantly explained in the newspaper FAZ how “chaste” fashion in Islamic countries contributed to the implementation of new dress codes, is planning a discourse at her institute entitled “The Islamic headscarf – symbol of dignity or oppression?” Among those invited are Alice Schwarzer and Necla Kelek, but also headscarf advocate Khola Maryam Hübsch.A group with the name @schroeter_raus stands up against the symposium, which “modestly” presents itself on Instagram as “We, the students of Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt” and expresses its indignation: A group with the name @schroeter_raus stands up against the symposium, which modestly presents itself on Instagram as “We, the students of Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt” and expresses its indignation: “Especially today with the increasing tendency of right-wing populism, people in Germany who wear the headscarf become victims of right-wing violence and racism. These right-wing populists receive encouragement from persons such as Prof. Dr. Susanne Schröter and her invited guests.” The group demands that the event be cancelled and that Susanne Schröter be removed from her position. Schröter presented the text of the group on her Facebook page (above).
