A Turkish father from Duisburg, who is said to have forced his four oldest children to work on his illegal marijuana plantation, has had to answer in court since Tuesday.If the children refused, they are said to have been brutally punished. When part of the harvest dried up, the children were accused of drinking his urine. He is said to have dragged his 18-year-old daughter to the toilet and poured urine over her. There is also talk of beatings with a wooden slat and a baseball bat. Enis C. is said to have even held a pistol to the forehead of his son (43 y.o, altogether six children) and thereby said: “I hate you, I would like to shoot you, but you have no life insurance”. The reason for the threat is said to have been that the boy had connected the electrical cable incorrectly and a fire broke out.At the start of the trial, the defendant has not yet commented on the allegations. The defendant’s family had contacted the police themselves in July 2018. After that, the Duisburg House of the Turk was searched immediately.Professionally operated cannabis fields and numerous weapons – including pistols, revolvers and a Kalashnikov – were discovered on three floors. The guns were hidden behind roof panels and in the leg of a billiard table.Once the 43-year-old is said to have even prevented one of his daughters from attending school so that she could continue working on his plantation. When she refused, he is said to have strangled her neck for 30 seconds.
Another time he is said to have hit so brutally that one of the girls almost fainted. But that’s not even all the accusations.Enis C. is also said to have sexually abused his then six-year-old daughter! According to the public prosecutor’s office, the 43-year-old owned three properties in Germany. A marijuana plantation was also to be built in at least one other house. To whom the defendant sold the drugs is unclear according to the prosecution.
