Erdogan warns Turks in Switzerland against assimilation and demands that they infiltrate the Swiss state

Two days, two speeches, two faces: On Tuesday, at his official appearance at the Refugee Forum in Geneva, Recep Tayyip gave Erdogan the diplomatic head of state. In front of dozens of TV cameras, he asked the international community for more support for Turkey. Quite different the day before. There the Turkish ruler stepped in front of his supporters in the noble hotel Four Seasons and held – shielded from the public – a propaganda speech against the assimilation of the Turkish people. The newspaper SonntagsBlick holds a video of the speech. A conference hall with almost 200 people, white tablecloths, silver cutlery. And on the podium: Erdogan, who conjures up his fantasies of a great power among the Swiss-Turks present. While Swiss policemen patrol the hotel with machine guns, the Turkish autocrat inside is talking in a frenzy: “One nation, one flag, one home, one state. This is how we will continue!” Applause. Erdogan makes it clear to those present: Even if they lived in Switzerland, they have only one nation to be loyal to: Turkey. The President of the Republic extends his hand into the air, four fingers outstretched, his thumb bent – the “Rabia greeting”, the distinctive mark of the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood. Erdogan goes even further: There is only one state for the Turkish Diaspora to follow. But the task in Switzerland is to expand their influence: “Become active, in politics, science, the economy! In other words, infiltrate Swiss society. Loyal Turks living abroad have always been Erdogan’s aim. Already in 2008 he called out to his compatriots in a speech: “No one can expect you to submit to assimilation. Assimilation is a crime against humanity!”To keep the Turkish diaspora on track, in 2010 Erdogan founded the Ministry of Foreign Turks (YTB), an authority with 300 employees and an annual budget of almost 200 million Swiss francs. The official slogan of the YTB: “We are everywhere where we have a national, a conspecific, a relative”. So it is not surprising that Erdogan’s propaganda appearance in Geneva was organized and probably financed by that very ministry. Murat Sahin from Aargau, Erdogan’s extended arm in Switzerland, acted as liaison man in the background.Sahin is a long-standing president of the Union of International Democrats, a lobby organisation of the Turkish ruling party AKP. He maintains close relations with the Ankara apparatus of power. On Facebook he swore unconditional loyalty to Erdogan: “As long as I can breathe, I will stand with all my being where you command me and fight together with you on this path! Sahin was rewarded for his services to the Turkish government in Geneva: he was one of the few chosen ones who were allowed to sit at the table with the Turkish ruler and his wife personally during the dinner at the Hotel Four Seasons. The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Cavusoglu and the Minister of Defence Hulusi Akar dined at the same table. Akar had ordered the attack on the Kurds in northern Syria in autumn.

Erdoğan asked his supporters to secure important jobs in European countries

In a meeting with representatives of a Turkish-backed diaspora group in Geneva, Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, urged his supporters in Europe and other countries to work hard to secure important posts in the governments of their host countries, pledging them the support of Turkish government agencies. Erdoğan attended a workshop with representatives of the Union of International Democrats (UID, formerly UETD) in Geneva on the sidelines of the Global Refugee Forum held December 16-18, 2019. UID is often described as the long arm of President Erdoğan in Europe for mobilizing the Turkish and Muslim diasporas for the goals of the political Islamist rulers back in Turkey. In his speech Erdoğan underlined that Turks living in Europe should try to get important positions in the governments of their host countries. Erdoğan also asked UID country representatives to work with other diaspora groups and promised the full support of Turkish government agencies. The UID meeting was attended by Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu, Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, Technology and Industry Minister Mustafa Varank, ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) officials and other government representatives. The Turkish government regularly briefs UID representatives on its policies and priorities and coordinates UID activities. The most recent coordination workshop was held in Antalya, a tourist destination in southern Turkey, on November 8-10, 2019. The meeting once more revealed the UID links to President Erdoğan’s government and how it is controlled by ruling party officials. Thirty-eight representatives from 17 European countries attended the workshop organized by the AKP Antalya branch. The UID representatives were hosted at the popular Ramada Hotel by Turkey’s ruling party. On November 8, the UID members were briefed by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on a military operation in northern Syria, bilateral relations with European countries and a number of foreign policy issues. Çavuşoğlu was accompanied by Deputy Foreign Minister Yavuz Selim Kıran, in charge of consular affairs at the ministry.Cevdet Yılmaz, chairman of the AKP’s foreign affairs department and former minister of development, informed participants about party policies and possible projects and underlined the importance of lobbying in Europe, saying, “The number of Turks living abroad has reached 7 million, and they should engage in politics, economy, sports and the arts in order to lobby for Turkey.” Then, Abdullah Eren, the head of the diaspora agency, the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), described Turkish diaspora policy and explained YTB activities focusing on Turks in Europe. Moreover, the UID representatives noted local challenges faced by diaspora members and their suggestions for overcoming these problems. Participants representing UID country or regional branches also discussed UID’s long-term strategy and its role in Turkish communities in Europe.Zafer Sırakaya, a lawmaker from the ruling party, high-level party officials, UID President Bülent Bilgi and Vice President Ayşe Aşut and head of the youth branch Metehan Çapacı were also present during the workshop. According to its web page, UID was originally founded in in Cologne in 2004 as the Union of Turkish Democrats of the European Union (UETD) and changed its name to UID in 2018 at a convention in Sarajevo attended by President Erdoğan as keynote speaker, reflecting the ambitions of the group to expand its operations beyond Europe. It currently has 152 offices in 17 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. In 2017 an investigative report by German police linked Ankara to a boxing gang in Germany accused of going after opponents of the Turkish government. According to the investigation Turkish parliamentarian Metin Külünk provided money to a boxing gang, Osmanen Germania, in Germany to buy weapons, organize protests and go after critics of the Erdoğan government, German media reported. The police investigations also suggested Osmanen Germania has contact with UID, the AKP’s external lobbying group.

Germany: Syrian stabs man in the park

Yesterday at about 03:00 p.m. a quarrel broke out between two people in a park, in the Robert-Koch-Street in Pasewalk. According to initial police findings, an at first verbal altercation escalated into a physical altercation. Subsequently, an 18-year-old was stabbed by the 30-year-old suspect (Syrian nationality) in the thigh of his right leg with a knife. The victim suffered stab wounds, which were diagnosed by doctors as not life threatening. Nevertheless, the stab wounds were quickly treated in the Pasewalk hospital, so that the injured person could leave the hospital in the evening. Details and background to this incident are still unclear at this time, and the criminal investigation department has begun investigations into dangerous bodily injury. The investigations are continuing.

The Vice Mayor of Linz warns against the Islamization of kindergartens in Linz, Austria

The deputy mayor of Linz, Markus Hein of the Freedom Party (FPÖ), has now criticised an at least questionable selection of personnel by the Linz municipal council. Hein reports on his web page:

Of 74 educational assistants who applied for a job with the municipality of Linz, 46 persons seem to have a migration background. Research by the Freedom Party (FPÖ) in Linz revealed that some of these migrant educational assistants allegedly follow dangerous Facebook groups and content. The Facebook pages of some of these people remind us of playgrounds for radical Islamic groups. Pages such as “Turkey Info”, “Islamic Facts”, “AKP Fans” and a Turkish-speaking group with the logo of a Grey Wolf were likened by applicants. Applicants also liked a Facebook page, which asked in Arabic and German: “Come to Germany”. The shocking thing about it is that these educational assistants with a presumably questionable understanding of democracy not only applied for jobs at kindergartens in the municipality of Linz, but even successfully cleared the first hurdle in the application process. This circumstance shows the Linz City Council’s personnel selection in a poor light. In the private sector, applicants are usually screened for their activities on the Internet. This is apparently not the practice in the magistrate’s office. We, the Freedom Party, will therefore also support the screening of applicants to the City Council in social media. For the Freedom Party of Linz and me as vice mayor a red line was crossed. Islamists and Erdogan fans must not be given a stage in our kindergartens for their supposedly anti-democratic attitude! We Freedom Party members therefore demand the implementation of a ban on headscarves in childcare facilities. The matter becomes even more explosive due to the voting behaviour of the Red and Green parties in the municipal council. The Freedom Party had recently made a motion for a commitment to the upholding of Austrian traditions and festivals in kindergartens. However, this motion was rejected, with the Reds and Greens voting against it, among others. For us Freedom Party members, this, in conjunction with the employment of presumably Islamist childcare workers, opens the back door to the creeping Islamisation of childcare facilities.

Sweden: The Wages of Self-Loathing Is Civil War

By David Archibald

The Danes have put extra resources into controlling the country’s links to Sweden because of bombs going off in Denmark due to people coming from Sweden. The people from Sweden are Islamist criminals. The Swedish government reacted to the Danish move by calling the Danes Nazis. Swedish society has changed for the worse, and the Swedish people are aware of what they have lost.

All this is known, but what is interesting is that a former head of the Swedish truck-maker Scania, a Mr. Leif Ostling, has said Sweden is headed for civil warbecause of the problem of its violent migrants who have no inclination to integrate into Swedish society. As a successful businessman, his views can’t be dismissed as being from some sort of antisocial loon living in his mother’s basement.

This raises the question: how do you have a civil war in this day and age? Having a civil war is aspirational, but is it achievable?

The population of Sweden is now 10.1 million, of which 8% are of the Islamist persuasion. The first question is, who owns the guns, and how many are there?

This site says civilians in Sweden are estimated to hold 2,296,000 guns, legally and illegally, of which about half are rifles. There is a big hunting tradition in Sweden. As of the year 2011, licenced firearms per 100 head of population was 6.5, and registered guns per 100 people was 18.9. So the average gun-owner has three of them.

The Swedish government is thinking along the same lines. They are currently trying to restrict weapons use by hunters. Magazines and ammunition are to be registered with the police and be kept apart from the weapons.

The Islamist elements have most of the hand grenades in civilian possession, principally the M75 hand grenade from the former Yugoslavia. Hand grenade attacks in Sweden peaked at 40 in 2016. The Islamists also have more explosives on hand. In the first nine months of 2019, there were 97 explosions in Sweden. Even the BBC has noticed. A litany of horrors could be written about Sweden, with all the murders and rapes and knifings and so on, but just consider that there is an explosion just about every second day.

The defense forces in Sweden have 139,180 firearms, and the police a further 38,000.

All in all, there are plenty of guns to go round to have a civil war with. This won’t be a brutish affair conducted with knives and sticks.

But how will it play out? A t the moment, the Islamists attack police stations, control no-go areas and enclaves, and are not sufficiently discouraged from these activities by the police. Public opinion is becoming less tolerant of the situation. In terms of the politics, leftists won the last election, in September 2018, and the Social Democrats retained control of the government. Their main opposition is the Sweden Democrats, whom the prime minister has called “an extremist and racist party.” In a recent poll, the Social Democrats are at 22% support, and the Sweden Democrats are more popular at 24%.

A sign of the shift in public opinion is the fact that the leader of the Moderate Party, with 70 out of the 349 seats in the Swedish parliament, has apologized on Facebook to all those who had criticized the country’s immigration policies over the years. The shifting winds of public opinion will encourage a crackdown on the Islamist enclaves, which in turn enrages the Islamists, and they are likely to respond with more attacks on the police and other public institutions.

How we get to civil war is that the government reaction to the escalating violence is likely to lag too far behind events and public opinion. And then an officer in the armed forces will have his wife or daughter killed and lead his unit in taking over the parliament building. Nobody in the police force will stop him, because the police have been taking the brunt of the Islamist violence for decades.

The next phase will be the reaction of the lefties running Germany, France, and the European Union. The yellow vests have been protesting in France for over a year now. Early on, they were surprised to see European Union decals on French armored personnel carriers. It seems that Macron and Merkel have conspired to create a French-German force to put down insurrections in Europe. To get to Sweden, this force would have to pass through Denmark, and the Danes are likely to stop them. If that fails, any armored column is unlikely to get across the Oresund Bridge that connects Denmark and Malmö in Sweden. The Swedes make good antitank weapons.

Yes, you can have a civil war in this day and age. With respect to Sweden, what can’t go on forever won’t. If the state does not maintain its monopoly on violence, the state ceases to exist.

People can have a short memory for trials and tribulations when they have been civilized and comfortable for a while. Across the border in Norway, the Norwegians had a bad time in WW2, with near starvation conditions. So in the 1950s, they built grain storage to last them at least a year, in the manner of Joseph’s advice to the Egyptian pharaoh. Two generations later, all the pain had been forgotten, and the grain silos were converted to student accommodations. The pain of Sweden’s coming civil war won’t be forgotten as quickly.

“I’m driving over the nearest Christmas market.” – German employment office pays an IS terrorist for her training as a truck driver

Screenshot

Songül G. covers her face with a file cover so that the cameras in the hall cannot record her. But she shows something of herself to the viewers behind her: they can see a picture drawn by the defendant and placed in the folder; a Batman effigy in a black cape with red boots. Maybe she sees herself as a superhero. But perhaps she also painted the picture for her son, who is allowed to witness the judge Petra Wende-Spors reading the verdict against his mother shortly after 11 a.m. in the audience this Monday: Songül G. is to serve five years and nine months because of the support of a foreign terrorist organization, three months longer than demanded by the Federal Prosecutor’s Office.” You wanted to help bring terror to Germany”, says Wende-Spors in her verdict to the accused. The chamber had “no doubts” that she was ready and willing to smuggle a Syrian IS-follower into Germany and give him shelter here so that he could commit an attack here.Songül G. from Bremen converted to Islam in 1999. She has three children aged two, eight and 16 who have three different fathers. In 2015 she began watching IS propaganda videos and joined Islamist chat groups. There she met Marcia M., an Islamist from Hildsheim who had joined the IS in Syria.A close friendship developed with Marcia M., both dreamed of living in the “Caliphate” of the IS and wished death to the unbelievers. Once the always veiled Songül G. confessed that she wanted to “strangle” the “unbelievers” that were staring at her and that she needed an “outlet” for her anger.Marcia M. tried to persuade her friend to leave for Syria. And Songül G. obviously prepared for it. She ordered electronics, suitcases and functional clothing on the Internet, cancelled the son from school and stopped paying rent. She discussed with Marcia M. whether it would be possible to receive German child benefit in Syria as well. Richterin Wende-Spors repeatedly emphasises how reprehensible it is to travel to the war zone with the three children in view of the expected situation: “You knew exactly what to expect there, and yet you wanted to take your children with you. Files could be restored on her computers, which show how children must cut off the heads of prisoners of the IS or shoot in the face.According to the court, the ” outlet ” for her anger was in the planning of the attack “against a major musical event in the Hildesheim area”, in which the defendant had been involved “at the latest since autumn 2016”, in which she had also agreed to give shelter to a prospective assassin.According to the prosecution, Songül G. had already previously agreed to marry one of the potential assassins, according to the surveillance of Messenger services. Two assassins, disguised as refugees, set off from Syria, but were intercepted and arrested in Turkey. When the police issued an exit ban for her in early 2018, she knew that the authorities suspect her of a crime. She immediately reversed her escape plans. A “serious turning away of the accused from the IS did not take place”, the presiding judge states. In the same year Songül G. began an apprenticeship as a truck driver sponsored by the employment office, where she also became known for her extremist remarks. During a driving lesson, she is said to have answered the teacher’s question about where she actually wanted to drive: “I’m driving over the nearest Christmas market.”
