Is Antifa advertising for rioters for Jan. 20?

By Monica Showalter

Independent journalist Andy Ngo posted an appalling group of rioter recruiting posters, purportedly from Antifa.

Assuming some or all of these grotesque posters are correct, it sounds like Antifa is recruiting rioters, for creating mayhem in several state capitols, such as Sacramento and Colorado. This twitterer here notes that Antifa is advertising some of them on Twitter without sanction.

The posters depict sinister ski-masked creatures in shadow dancing around a bonfire circle while a little old Monopoly man figure is beaten and bruised and tied to the stake. They depict a burning police car, and multiple soup cans hurled at a state capitol, some bearing hammers and sickle.

It’s ironic, as it comes at a time when the press is all riled up about purportedly dangerous Trump supporters who are supposedly sure to try to shut the Biden inaugural down. As Andrea Widburg noted here, the calls for Trump supporters to attend an armed march, in a poster with no sponsors, was a red flag and might have been a trap.

These posters seem to be openly calling for riots and rioters, just as Democrats try to pin all opprobrium on Trump supporters. Where is the outrage?

Fatal stabbing among a mob of Afghans in Gelsenkirchen, Germany

Cruel crime in Gelsenkirchen.

A young man (19 years old) died on Friday evening after a fight with eight other people in the district of Buer.

Three suspects have now been arrested. They are being held in custody. The 28, 32 and 33 year old men are accused of manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm in combination with attempted manslaughter, as the Essen public prosecutor’s office and the Gelsenkirchen police announced on Sunday evening. All three suspects were born in Afghanistan; two live in Gelsenkirchen, one is registered in Munich.

According to investigators, a knife was also a weapon used in the fight in the car park of a discount store late on Friday evening. The 19-year-old Afghan national with a residence permit in Germany had left the scene of the crime with serious injuries, collapsed and died. The background of the attack is still unclear.

A 19-year-old man from Cologne, who was involved in the quarrel and was seriously injured, is in critical condition. A 22-year-old man from Essen, who initially fled the crime scene after the altercation, has been identified in the meantime. He is also in hospital with serious injuries.

“The goal of the difficult investigation is now to determine the background and causes of the quarrel and to find other persons involved in the altercation,” it is further stated.

When police officers arrived at the discounter’s car park at 10.08 p.m., six people had fled, according to witnesses.

The police cordoned off the scene of the crime, secured evidence and set up a homicide squad. Those involved in the quarrel were questioned. A police spokesperson said on Saturday that there were no concrete indications of xenophobia.

Why Was Parler Censored by Its Competitors?

I’ve been a big fan of Medium, although I’ve learned quickly there are certain “publications” — essentially sub-blogs — that it’s best to avoid. Today I saw a piece published two days ago, The Moderation War Is Coming to Spotify, Substack, and Clubhouse, that addressed how Parler was censored and destroyed by Apple, Google, Twitter, Facebook, and Amazon, and then warned that Parler won’t be the last.

The given reason, of course, was people were saying violent things on Parler and all the biens pissants are, of course, shocked, shocked that this was “permitted.”

It might be different if the double standard weren’t so glaring. As Amazon was canceling Parler’s hosting — in apparent violation of their contract — they were selling “Kill All Republicans” tee-shirts, and it turns out that while Twitter and Facebook were canceling Parler, the actual mob was coordinating on Twitter and Facebook.

censored

Last year, before the election, Twitter and Facebook suppressed a mainstream newspaper for publishing the Hunter Biden story, as well as suspending hundreds of individuals’ accounts. Twitter eventually said it was a mistake weeks later and restored the New York Post account, and after the election, we found that the “Russian disinformation” story was a lie. But the damage was done and the story that might’ve turned the election went basically unpublicized, which Joe Concha at The Hill called “a dereliction of duty.”

Parler, Twitter’s free speech competitor, was pulled by both the Apple and Google app stores, removed from Twitter and Facebook, and had their hosting pulled by Amazon within 48 hours. It’s now clear that the LARPers in the mob actually planned their attack on Twitter and Facebook but the damage is done and it’s unlikely that Parler will survive this action. The CEO of Parler has had to go into hiding to make sure that he himself survives this action.

It’s worth noting that Amazon deplatformed Parler after members of Congress demanded it. That makes it a real First Amendment violation as well as a violation of the right to free speech which the First Amendment exists to protect.

So somehow competitors are being shut down in a coordinated fashion by effective monopolies with governmental support.

It’s quite an accomplishment. And now we have 20,000 National Guards occupying the capital, asking people for their papers to enter their own neighborhoods, for an inauguration the people can’t attend because 12-foot fences and razor wire deny them access.

I’ve seen this movie before. It was called Triumph des Willens, “The Triumph of the Will“.

Austria drops probe of alleged Identitarian links to New Zealand shooting

Austrian prosecutors on Friday confirmed that they had dropped an inquiry into Identitarian activists over possible links with the perpetrator of a shooting in New Zealand in 2019. Martin Sellner, the co-founder of the Identitarian Movement of Austria (IBOe), said the investigation was dropped last month.

Sellner came under investigation together with some of his associates because he had received a donation of 1 500 euros shooter from Brenton Tarrant in 2018. In March 2019, Tarrant shot 51 worshippers in attacks on two mosques in the city of Christchurch. He told AFP that investigations targeting his wife and the IBOe had also been dropped last month.

Prosecutors had mulled charges related to “participation in a terrorist organisation” but the spokesman for the prosecutors’ department in the city of Graz, Hansjoerg Bacher, confirmed to AFP that the investigation had been “dropped”. A court had ruled in 2019 that the raid on Sellner’s home had been illegal.

The IBOe has been described by Austrian intelligence services as “agents of modern right-wing extremism”. According to Austrian media, another investigation against Sellner for suspected fraud is ongoing.

Identitarians have warned of the “Great Replacement” where white Europeans are being deliberately supplanted by non-white immigrants. Tarrant’s manifesto was curiously also titled “The Great Replacement”. According to AFP, this is a “conspiracy theory”.
