Apparently, rubber gloves are the new plastic bags.

The irony is almost too rich. In the weeks since usually levelheaded people, scared witless about contracting a bad cold, starting donning disposable rubber gloves to prevent the spread of the dreaded Chinese virus, a new and very much so unsavory problem has subsequently arisen. To wit: Many of these same “health conscious” germaphobes have taken to dropping their used, potentially virus covered, formerly lifesaving gloves wherever they damn well please, including sidewalks, roadsides, and store entries/exits. This extremely selfish act is not only putting their fellow citizens at great risk for contracting the very illness they were fortunate enough to avoid by wearing these metacarpal prophylactics, but perhaps even worse, they are endangering the welfare of every fish, amphibian, and waterfowl who might come in contact with them once they blow hither and yon into nearby bodies of water like so many… um, er… single-use plastic bags. 

For all you skeptics out there, I offer up the following eyewitness account, as well as stories of this exact occurrenceas verification of this novel menace. As an avid cyclist and runner, I spend inordinate amounts of time on the roads in and around my home (aka lockdown prison,) even more so now to spare my dear wife the discomfort of my now almost constant, unbearable presence. At first, I only spotted the odd pair, here and there (yeah I know, I’m a poet as well.) But lately, it’s more like an epidemic of improperly disposed and contaminated latex spores. The things are everywhere! I swear I can’t run or ride a quarter mile without have to swerve or change sides of the road to avoid coming in contact with them. The worst part is that without wearing a mask (it’s already hard enough to keep properly oxygenated without artificially lowering my lung capacity by 50%) I’m exposing myself to all those remnants of human effluvia left behind on the discarded gloves. What’s a grown, endorphin jonesing man, riddled with ADHD supposed to do now? Huh?

So all you covidiots out there, please, for the sake of your fellow man, keep our streets, parks, and public entryways free and clear from this potentially life-threatening yet avoidable risk. Heck, if you’re like me and have a five-year supply of plastic bags in your two car (but only one usable bay) garage, if you save all those used gloves, you can always use them as balloons once we’re allowed to have birthday parties again.

The municipality of Neumünster had lifted the quarantine over the entire state accommodation after two weeks as planned this morning at 08.00 am. Exceptions to this are the inhabitants of the quarantine facility (where the infected inhabitants and their relatives are accommodated) and the isolation facility. Thereupon the 30-40 residents gathered in front of their house and protested loudly at the fence that had been erected around the building. As the situation initially appeared to escalate, additional police forces were sent to the shelter.

There were about 80 police officers on site. The situation calmed down, however, and the residents of the isolation house gave up their protests. Together with employees of the state accommodation, the police and the German Red Cross, a discussion with the inhabitants was arranged. After this discussion the situation had calmed down, the residents had understood that their isolation had to be maintained until the middle of next week. While police forces could be discharged early from the deployment around noon, the deployment was completed at 3:15 pm after the discussion. All requested police forces were discharged from duty. During the entire duration of the operation no one was injured, neither on the part of the police nor on the part of the residents. There were no criminal offences.

Some details or the usual threats by asylum seekers are missing in the above police report: As Welt.de reports, a family there has stirred up the other people living in the building, threatening to tear down the fences around the building, climb over them or jump out of the window.

Danish Christians are stunned after a church was defaced with Arabic graffiti over Easter weekend.

On Easter Sunday, the holiest day for Christians around the world, the Vejleå Church in Ishøj, Denmark was vandalized with Arabic phrases which say: “We conquer Denmark. There is no God but Allah,” Danish news portal Den Korte Avis reports.

A video of the graffiti has been posted on YouTube by Presse-fotos.dk.

According to Copenhagen police, the revolting act of vandalism was carried out at approximately 3:30 am on Sunday, April 12, 2020 by an unknown individual who is said to have been wearing dark clothing at the time of the crime.

Unfortunately, the perpetrator cannot be described in further detail.

“We have surveillance pictures in the case, but based on them the gender of the perpetrator cannot even be determined, and therefore it does not make sense to publish the pictures. But the case is still at an early stage and we hope that through this investigation as well as interrogations and other investigations we can arrest the perpetrator,” said Deputy Police Inspector Peter Malmose.

Sadly, this is not the first instance of this church in Ishøj being vandalized. In 2015, vandals smashed eight large windows with stones.

Attacks against churches and symbols against Christianity have become all-too-common in multicultural Western Europe.

Just weeks ago, a man believed to be an immigrant from the Middle East or North Africa was charged with setting fire to Dombås Church and  Sel Church in Norway. As Voice of Europe reported, the acts of arson were reportedly vengeance attacks for copies of the Quran being burnt at a demonstration by Stop Islamisation of Norway in Agder late last year.

Last year, France witnessed a torrent of attacks on its historic Catholic churches. Numerous churches were set alight, crosses were torn down, statues were smashed, and tabernacles were knocked down, igniting fears of  widespread anti-Christian sentiment across the country.

The Berlin hate preacher Ahmad Armih (46 years old), who has been monitored for years by the Berlin Office for the Protection of the Constitution and classified as a dangerous person, has received 18,000 euros in Corona emergency aid, reports bild.de. He received the money even though the professed Salafist and IS supporter is a recipient of social benefits, according to the Berlin public prosecutor’s office. For himself and his wife, he would have applied to the Berlin State Investment Bank under false pretences. The money had been transferred to his account quickly and unbureaucratically. The Salafist is said to have declared to the bank that he was engaged in a honey shop, but this is apparently not true. The money had been seized on Thursday during a search of an apartment in the street Sprengelstraße.

According to reports from the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, the Belgian government has to deal with the highest lethality rate in the world by number of infected people.

According to Italian daily la Repubblica, it is the highest lethality rate globally among infected people while it boasts another record to consider, namely that the country has the second most deaths per million inhabitants across Europe.

The percentage fluctuates around 13,4 percent. In Italy, it is 13 percent, in the United Kingdom 12,8 percent. In Germany even 2,5 percent; in the United States we are 4,3 percent and in China 4 percent.

In Belgium there are also 383 deaths per million inhabitants, but considering that there are 11,5 million people in the country, this is the second highest figure in Europe behind Spain.

The latest bulletin on the Covid-19 epidemic showed alarming data: 417 victims, of whom 127 in hospital and 289 in rest homes.

In terms of new cases, the country recorded 1 236 cases, bringing the current total to 34 809.

The number of deaths related to the epidemic has jumped to 4 857. Going into detail, however, some 49 percent of deaths occurred in hospitals and another 49 percent in nursing homes .

On March 14, the restrictive measures that will last until May 3 were announced suggesting that authorities acted too late. Also, the management of the crisis in the old people’s homes has been lacking.

On Thursday, New York state recorded 7 067 deaths and 159 937 total cases however. It is more than any country in the world has reported to date, according to Johns Hopkins. New York City itself had 87 028 total cases and 5 280 fatalities.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio acknowledged the real toll was likely higher, saying only COVID-19 could explain a recent massive spike in deaths at home.

The coronavirus jailbreak is underway. Coronavirus is an excuse for the pro-crime lobby to do what it had been doing all along, freeing criminals and legalizing crime. Meanwhile the price is being paid by the victims of the freed criminals.

A Florida inmate who was among those released last month in an effort to contain the coronavirus has been arrested on a murder charge, sheriff’s officials said.

Joseph Edward Williams, 26, was arrested Monday on a second-degree murder charge in connection with a fatal shooting March 20, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. He’s also charged with resisting an officer, being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of heroin, records show.

Williams was among a group of inmates released from the jail in an effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus throughout the facility. 

It didn’t take much time for Williams, a perfectly wonderful criminal, to commit more crimes. We have jails so that people like Williams can’t do that. If you release folks like Williams from prison, crimes will happen. Williams was released to protect him.

The question is, who’s protecting us?

It’s useful to remember that there are other problems in the world besides the coronavirus and one of them is Islamic terrorism.

The fanatics apparently don’t pay much attention to the news and I doubt whether they’re following WHO guidelines on how to stop the spread of the virus. Instead, terrorists are going to do what terrorists do and to hell with the rest of the world.

In Germany, four terrorists were arrested after plotting to attack a U.S. military installation and assassinate a critic of Islam.

German authorities say police have arrested four suspected members of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) who were planning an attack on American military facilities. Federal prosecutors said the suspects were arrested by tactical police units early Wednesday at various locations in the western state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

They identified the men as Azizjon B., Muhammadali G., Farhodshoh K. and Sunatullokh K. – all citizens of Tajikistan. The suspects’ surnames weren’t released for privacy reasons.

The men’s alleged leader, a 30-year-old Tajik man identified only as Ravsan B., has been in jail since March 2019 on unspecified charges.

ISIS is still trying to make a comeback in Iraq and Syria and is still intensely recruiting online for soldiers. Tajikistan, a former Soviet republic until 1991, is a small, mountainous country that borders Afghanistan and China. It’s not known as a hotbed of Islamic radicalism, although it’s 96 percent Muslim. Authorities have tried, with some success, to stamp out radical fundamentalism, so the country has remained relatively peaceful since a civil war in the early 1990s that followed independence.

The men were charged with “membership in a terrorist organization.”

Prosecutors said the men joined ISIS in January 2019 and were instructed to form a cell in Germany. They reportedly first planned to carry out an attack in Tajikistan but later shifted their target to Germany, including U.S. Air Force bases in the country and a person they deemed critical of Islam.

Throughout, they are alleged to have been in contact with two high-ranking ISIS figures in Syria and Afghanistan.

Prosecutors said the group had already obtained firearms and ammunition to carry out their attacks, while Ravsan B. had ordered materials to build an explosive device.

These are not “lone wolves” or rich Muslim kids trying to be terrorists. This was apparently a serious plot that was fairly well along when police stopped it. No word on how the men came to Germany, whether they were refugees or if they emigrated. What matters is that they were there and ready to commit violence against the United States.

How many more ISIS cells in western Europe? We probably won’t know until it’s too late.
