The Left Is Not Going to Like This, but Trump Has Been Proven Right Over and Over Again

Media coverage of President Trump’s response to the coronavirus has been overwhelmingly negative. Numerous false stories have been published and spread in an attempt to damage him politically before the election in November. The media wants us to believe that Trump botched the response to the coronavirus, when, in fact, it was the media that botched their coverage of the coronavirus. Despite their attempts to destroy him, Trump has persisted, and many times he has been proven to be right. Below, I’ve compiled five things Trump has been proven right about during the pandemic in the hopes that maybe instead of trying to exploit the pandemic as a political opportunity, that the media will start to cover it honestly and fairly.

5. We rely too much on China

Before the pandemic, President Trump launched an economic war with China. He’s been an advocate for America to be less reliant on China for the production of goods and medicine. Trump’s “America First” foreign policy was called protectionist, isolationist, and even xenophobic. His trade war with China was mocked. China may have offered cheap labor, but the coronavirus pandemic has shown us just how deadly our dependence on China really is.

And Trump rightfully acknowledged that he was right. “Now, the one thing that the pandemic has taught us is that I was right,” Trump said. “You know, I had people say, ‘No, no, it’s good. You keep — you do this and that.’ Now those people are really agreeing with me. And that includes medicine and other things, you know.”

“Donald Trump has been insisting for years that our country has been too economically dependent on China,” explained Madison Gesiotto, a Trump campaign advisory board member. “It is sad that it took a global public health crisis to prove he was right all this time.”

Sad indeed.

4. Obama botched the H1N1 response

Obama’s response to the H1N1 pandemic generally received positive marks, but the coronavirus pandemic has given us an opportunity to measure it against another domestic pandemic for comparison. Obama waited months after the World Health Organization declared H1N1 a global pandemic to declare a national emergency. By then, millions of Americans were already infected, and over a thousand had died. President Trump declared the coronavirus a national emergency two days after the WHO declared the coronavirus a global pandemic, and had been aggressively responding to the outbreak before most Americans were even paying attention to it.

Obama only declared H1N1 a national emergency a few short days before a congressional oversight panel slammed his administration’s response to the pandemic as inadequate and incomplete.

Nevertheless, Trump’s trashing of Obama’s H1N1 response was mocked by the media, but even Obama’s former Ebola czar, Ron Klain, acknowledged that the response was botched. Klain is advising Joe Biden right now, so if you can’t take my word on it you can take his. Klain said, “It is purely a fortuity that [H1N1] isn’t one of the great mass casualty events in American history. It had nothing to do with us doing anything right. It just had to do with luck.” The main reason was that the Obama administration failed to achieve its vaccine production goals. They predicted in early summer 2009 “that it would have 160 million vaccine doses by late October,” but they  “ended up with less than 30 million.” This failure undoubtedly cost lives. A study by Purdue University scholars published on October 15, 2009 (before Obama declared the national emergency) determined that the H1N1 vaccine would arrive “too late to help most Americans who will be infected during this flu season.” The study determined that the CDC’s planned vaccination campaign would “likely not have a large effect on the total number of people ultimately infected by the pandemic H1N1 influenza virus.”

3. The fatality rate is likely under 1 percent

When the World Health Organization estimated that the fatality rate of the coronavirus was 3.4 percent, Trump was skeptical.

“Well, I think the 3.4 percent is really a false number. Now, and this is just my hunch, and — but based on a lot of conversations with a lot of people that do this. Because a lot of people will have this and it’s very mild. They’ll get better very rapidly. They don’t even see a doctor. They don’t even call a doctor,” Trump said during an interview on Hannity. “I think that that number is very high. I think the number, personally, I would say the number is way under 1 percent.”

While we may not find out the true fatality rate for some time, there have been multiple studiesthat have determined that coronavirus infection is far more widespread than we know (likely because China covered up the outbreak for weeks) and that the fatality rate is less than 1 percent.

2. There was no ventilator shortage

Remember when states were requesting ventilators in huge numbers? Governor Andrew Cuomo alone requested 40,000 ventilators and blamed Trump for not providing enough. “You pick the 26,000 people who are going to die,” Cuomo dramatically said during a press conference.

Trump didn’t believe he needed 40,000. “I have a feeling that a lot of the numbers that are being said in some areas are just bigger than they’re going to need,” President Trump said.  “I don’t believe you need 40,000 or 30,000 ventilators. You go into major hospitals sometimes, and they’ll have two ventilators. And now, all of a sudden, they’re saying, ‘Can we order 30,000 ventilators?’”

Trump’s belief that states drastically overestimated their needs proved right. Despite claims from the media, there was no ventilator shortage. Local health officials had based their requests on those early doomsday scenarios that forced us to shut down. Rather than go by the excessively large requests of governors, the Trump administration used realtime data from hospitals to estimate the needs of each state. That method ultimately worked. New York appeared to hit its peak in mid-April, and needed fewer than 6,000 ventilators. Anyone who needed a ventilator got one.

1. Travel bans work

In January, President Trump took the bold step of banning travel from China back in January. The World Health Organization said it wouldn’t work. Joe Biden called it xenophobic. Others joined in on the criticism. But, a month later WHO experts conceded that it worked and it saved lives. While Trump was widely criticized for his travel bans, his critics have largely flip-flopped on the issue. Even Joe Biden has flip-flopped on this; he now supports the travel ban with China after previously calling it “xenophobic.” Other former critics of the ban would later claim the ban didn’t go far enough and should have been implemented earlier.

If Trump’s decision to close travel with China saved lives, then Obama’s decision not to close travel with Mexico during the H1N1 pandemic cost lives. Remember, the H1N1 pandemic resulted in 60.8 million infections. Imagine how much lower those numbers would have been had Obama been more like Trump.

New York Taxpayers Have to Wear Masks, Not Welfare Takers

In blue cities and states, rules only apply to taxpayers and citizens, not to welfare takers and illegals.

While New York City rolled out a ruthless crackdown, especially targeting the religious Jewish community, enforcing a mask diktat when walking outside, never mind when entering a facility, those rules don’t apply to Mayor Bill de Blasio’s base.

To help contain the spread of COVID-19, the city social service agency had plastered bluntly worded signs at the entrances of welfare offices across the five boroughs: “In order to enter this building, you must wear a face-covering or a mask.”

On Friday, the Human Resources Administration reversed course after a pair of clashes at a Bronx facility — ordering the signs to be taken down and declaring that clients who refuse to wear a mask would be allowed in.

Rules don’t apply to criminals and assorted other folks likely to be patronizing Bronx welfare offices. They only apply to the law abiding.

The change apparently stems from two incidents within the last 10 days at a Bronx welfare office where clients refused HRA workers’ instructions to cover their faces or accept free masks that were offered.

Both were ejected after HRA peace officers intervened. One was issued a summons after allegedly threatening to kill the officers.

This is what the welfare class looks like in real life. More free stuff is clearly needed.

At around 8:30 a.m. Monday, client Jermaine Gaddy, 43, walked past the “face-covering” sign, written in English and Spanish, at the entrance to the Crotona Jobs Center and HRA office on Monterey Avenue, according to an internal HRA report obtained by THE CITY.

The report offered this account: Workers at the entrance offered Gaddy a free mask. He refused to take it and proceeded to the second-floor reception area. Workers there told him he had to wear a face covering or they could not help him.

He became “irate,” and HRA peace officers were summoned, the report reads. When he refused to leave the building, he was handcuffed.

Gaddy then became “non-compliant,” and made “repeated verbal threat(s)” to the officers, stating, “When I see you I’m going to beat the s—t out of you and then kill you.”

According to the report, Gaddy was not arrested, but was instead issued a summons for trespassing, harassment and disorderly conduct. He refused to take the summons and hollered “Take me to Rikers!”

NYPD officers were summoned. When the cops arrived, Gaddy took his summons and departed with a return-to-court date of August, the report said. A call Friday to a number listed for Gaddy was not returned.

Don’t worry. He’ll be released to protect him from the coronavirus.

Miscarriage of justice: DNA convicts released Afghan man in Austria after his rape attack

There is a drastic turn in the case of an attempted rape last week in Poysdorf in the Weinviertel (district Mistelbach). The 22-year-old Afghan asylum seeker, who was released by the arresting and investigating judge of the Korneuburg Regional Court only a few hours after his arrest, is now the prime suspect.

A DNA match convicted the man. The 55-year-old victim’s clothes were found to contain the Afghan’s sperm. The criminal investigation department is now searching for the suspect who has gone into hiding and against whom an arrest warrant has been issued. He disappeared immediately after his release. Since then, there has been no trace of him. “In order not to jeopardize the success of the search, the spokesman for the Korneuburg public prosecutor’s office, Friedrich Köhl, does not want to comment on the facts at this time.

More news emerges about the FBI’s and CIA’s illegal war against Trump

By Andrea Widburg

I have an embarrassing fondness for romance novels, so I know the genres. For decades, one popular genre has had FBI agents as lead characters, whether male or female. In a romance novel, being an FBI agent is shorthand for being intelligent, courageous, and upright.

With the latest revelations about the FBI’s war against Donald Trump, it’s unlikely that any conservative will ever again want to read a romance novel with an FBI hero or heroine. And while CIA agents and DOJ lawyers were never that popular as romantic leads, any romance showcasing them will probably head for the circular file too.

Writing at the Federalist, Margot Cleveland summarizes how recently released documents show that the FBI and DOJ, both during and after Obama’s presidency, went after Michael Flynn, who had honorably served his country for 33 years. The documents expose the machinations behind forcing Flynn to plead guilty to a crime he didn’t commit.

The FBI’s and DOJ’s c conduct included, but isn’t limited to, plotting how to catch Flynn in a lie, blindsiding him at the White House, hiding from him the transcript of his call with the Russian Ambassador, trying to sneak into the conversation notice to Flynn that lying to the FBI is a felony, illegally changing the interview notes, threatening Flynn’s son to get him to plead guilty and then hiding that fact from the court, and withholding exculpatory documents.

Kurt Schlichter highlights that this reprehensible behavior continued with Robert Mueller and his posse:

And let’s not forget the crimes of the Mueller gang, that team of consummate pros that we were dutifully informed by the rump-bussing media was made up of the bestest and the brightest of American law enforcement. It was not bad enough that they threatened to prosecute of LTG Flynn’s son on false charges to coerce a guilty plea and cooperation again Trump, et. al. No, they then hid the fact that they made this promise to LTG Flynn by not putting it in the plea agreement as mandated by law. That way, as honest ex-prosecutor Andrew McCarthy figured out, they ensured that when they put LTG Flynn up to testify against a someone from Trumpworld, maybe even the president himself, the jury would never know the real reason LTG Flynn pleaded guilty – that he was forced to protect his family from false charges. They did this intending to lie to future juries.

The CIA was dirty too. While Obama was still president, John Brennan shut down an Intelligence Community report concluding (based on evidence obvious to a child) that Hillary Clinton was Putin’s preferred candidate:

The report states that Brennan overruled agency analysts who wanted to include strong intelligence in the assessment to show that Russian President Vladimir Putin wanted Hillary Clinton to win the election, Fleitz says, citing conversations with House Intelligence Committee staffers. Brennan had also rejected analysts who wanted to strike weak intelligence from the report which suggested that Russia favored Trump, Fleitz said.

“So Brennan actually slanted this analysis, choosing anti-Trump intelligence and excluding anti-Clinton intelligence,” Fleitz told The Epoch Times.

But wait! There’s more! Just a few days ago, James Baker, the FBI’s former General Counsel, admitted that the FBI didn’t indict Hillary Clinton for her serious national security violations only because the Fibbies thought (hoped?) she’d win:

Twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was not indicted when she mishandled classified information because the FBI believe she was going to win the 2016 presidential election.

That’s a bombshell admission from former FBI General Counsel James Baker, who revealed that the FBI had enough evidence to charge and convict Clinton but decided not to charge her.

We know that in these agencies – the FBI, the DOJ, and the CIA – there are honorable men and women who take seriously their obligation to serve America. What’s becoming clear is that these good people are working for irremediably corrupt organizations that consider themselves a permanent shadow government. As such, they are unconstrained by the Constitution, laws, regulations, and ordinary morality.

Trump needs to clean out these Augean stables, and he needs to do it fast. Thankfully, with the accelerating pace of John Durham’s investigation, there’s hope that the coming summer will finally see at least a little justice done.

4 migrants accused of gang raping a woman in Germany reportedly filmed their crime

Last Wednesday, the trial of four migrants accused of raping a 22-year-old woman in a park in Düsseldorf began at Düssledorf regional court.

As the Bild daily reported, the four migrants, who are amateur football players, were on their way from training when they saw a woman at around 9 p.m. on November 12, 2019, near the Volksgarten S-Bahn station.

According to the indictment, they walked her through Volksgarten Park under the pretext that they wanted to walk her home. Then, three of them are said to have attacked the woman and gang raped her while the fourth defendant filmed everything.

A witness saw the incident happening and alerted a police vehicle about the rape. The woman was subsequently given medical treatment.

At the police station, the men, two Brazilians aged 19 and 32 respectively, a 34-year-old from Morocco, and a 21-year-old from Angola, accused each other of committing the crime.

As the German courts guarantee special protection to the defendants up to 21 years of age, the courtroom was closed to the public shortly after the trial had started.

According to statistics from the German Criminal Federal Police (BKA), suspects without a German passport committed 35 percent of all crimes in Germany in 2019, which shows those with a migrant background represent a growing proportion of the country’s criminals.

Germany also saw an increase in sexual crimes in 2019, with 8,189 suspects listed as “non-German”, representing more than one in three sexual crimes (36 percent).

Past reports have also shown similar alarming statistics. The 2019 “Criminality in the context of immigration” report pointed to a 102 percent increase in the number of Germans who were listed as victims of a crime committed by a member of the immigrant community, which includes all those who entered Germany under the asylum system.

For example, in the category of “sexual offenses”, 3,261 Germans were victims in sexual crimes featuring an immigrant as the suspect while only 89 immigrants were victims of a German suspect.

Syrian commits attack on German express train – terrorist background is likely

Versuchter Mord: Syrer legt Betonplatten auf Zuggleise
Photo: Polizei

On Saturday, the 25th of April, the driver of an InterCity Express (ICE) train reported that his train had run over several concrete slabs. The train could have easily derailed as a result, only by luck it did not happen and nobody was injured. The police arrested a largely confessing Syrian migrant, who is now under investigation for attempted murder.

The Syrian suspect, who according to the police has already confessed to most of the crime, had laid several concrete slabs on the tracks of the 5830 railway line near Osterhofen (in the Lower Bavarian district of Deggendorf) between 3 and 4 p.m.

After a few days, on Tuesday, April 29, the Passau federal police were able to determine the identity of the accused and arrest him in co-operation with the Deggendorf criminal police. He is a migrant of Syrian nationality. The young man is now under investigation for attempted murder in a crime unit with dangerous interference in rail traffic.
