The Democrats’ Daddy Warbucks is back and once again using his money to try to buy an election.

Michael Bloomberg is among a group of rich people hanging around Florida and offering free fine payoffs to released felons in a more-than-implied exchange for their votes for Democrats. Bloomberg isn’t playing non-partisan in this, a frequent dodge of leftists, he’s shoveling $100 million of his own cash to make sure Florida votes for Democrats, and this is part of his game. That would be the same Michael Bloomberg who was last seen blowing a billion on his own presidential campaign and then stiffing his campaign workers, by promising to employ through the election, and then dumping them and leaving them out on their ears when he left the race. Money for cons, see, but not the help.

It’s otherwise known as bribery, the exchange of votes for something of value, and it’s explicitly forbidden under Florida law.

Florida’s Rep. Matt Gaetz has noticed and he’s raising the alarm:

“[Under Florida law] it’s a third-degree felony for someone to either directly or indirectly provide something of value to impact whether or not someone votes,” Gaetz explained. “So the question is whether or not paying off someone’s fines and legal obligations counts as something of value, and it clearly does.

“If Michael Bloomberg was offering to pay off people’s credit card debt,” Gaetz added, “you would obviously see the value in that.

“[W]hen you improve someone’s net worth by eliminating their financial liabilities, that’s something of value,” he went on. “Normally, it would be very difficult to prove that that was directly linked to impacting whether or not someone was going to vote. But they literally wrote their own admission.”

It’s little different from what Mexico’s PRI used to do, which was secure votes by handing out bags of beans, or what Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez would do, handing out the occasional apartment or washer dryer.

Like ballot-harvesting, it’s another hideous corruption of democracy imported from Latin America’s dictatorships in democracy’s clothing, rendering the entire idea of representative democracy meaningless, and rigged systems for leftists replacing them.

As Gaetz says, the whole payoff scheme improves the net worth of ex-cons, which in turn gives them an advantage over non-felons who still have to pay fines and bills. Who needs to worry about fines and victim restitution for crimes committed when there’s Mike to take care of it for a mere vote?

It’s also racially discriminatory. Only black ex-cons are eligible for the payoffs, because of the data collected showing that 95% of them vote Democrat. Whites need not apply. According to Fox, Bloomberg knows what he’s doing:

A Bloomberg memo first reported by the Washington Post read: “We know to win Florida we will need to persuade, motivate and add new votes to the Biden column. This means we need to explore all avenues for finding the needed votes when so many votes are already determined.”

“The data shows that in Florida, Black voters are a unique universe unlike any other voting bloc, where the Democratic support rate tends to be 90%-95%,” the memo continued.

It’s money for votes and Mike knows it.

And with fines paid off by Daddy Warbucks, there’s plenty of money for Nikes or cars or whatever a released felon has his heart on that can’t be obtained by looting.

His fellow billionaire George Soros rendered rule of law meaningless by shoveling cash into district attorneys’ races to elect DAs who refuse to enforce the law, turning America’s blue cities into crime pits where commiting a crime means no punishment.

Bloomie’s idea is to render fines and victim restitution meaningless, too, by paying them off in exchange for votes. The purpose of fines is to make ex-cons exchange something of value to them to encourage them to buy into the system. That they haven’t suggests this isn’t something of value to them compared to other thing. But now that Bloomberg is offering to take care of them for a mere vote… who’d refuse?

This billionaire democracy-underming trend goes to show that billionaires control Democrats, and those who value rule of law, and laws meaning what they say, have got some big opposition in the activities of these leftist plutocrats, neither of whom can stand the little people — the ones who obey laws and pay taxes that is.

So Bloomberg’s cynical scheme is going through, with the billionaire convinced that the law can never touch him.

A guy in Michigan got the law bearing down on him for mocking the mail-in voting process by placing a toilet on his front lawn. But Bloomie, who’s buying votes from felons wholesale, thus far, is fully confident that nothing will happen to him. Nothing ever has, so he continues to take it to new lows.

Gaetz says he’s encouraged to see the state take an interest in this bid to add bribery into the electoral equation, but a lot of us will want to see it to believe it.

One thing is for sure, it’s got to stop somewhere, and Florida would be smart to take it to the mat with him and make him join the felons he’s trying to buy.

Italian coastguard authorities on the island of Lampedusa have denied port access to the German migrant transport NGO Sea-Eye, telling the vessel to head to Germany.

Sea-Eye’s ship, the Alan Kurdi, flies the German flag and currently has 133 migrant on board off the coast of Lampedusa after picking them up along the coast of Libya in the search and rescue (SAR) zone. The NGO ship arrived in the area on Sunday and has demanded the authorities allow them to drop off the migrants aboard.Gordon Isler, who serves on the executive board of Sea-Eye and is responsible for the Alan Kurdi, shared an email on Twitter from the Italian coastguard. It told Sea-Eye to contact German authorities in Bremen, arguing the migrants were not picked up in the Italian SAR zone.

Isler went on to complain about the response, saying: “Imagine that an Italian ship saves [people] in the North Sea and Bremen refers them to Rome. That’s grotesque.”

According to a report from newspaper Il Giornale, the Governor of Sicily Nello Musumeci has complained about the NGO activity as both Sicily and Lampedusa have seen a dramatic rise in migrant boat landings.

“If the boats were not enough, the quarantine ships are full of people brought by the NGOs. In this too, the government did not want to listen to us,” Musumeci said. He added: “Here’s some common sense: if Sicily has to manage the autonomous landings, it cannot bear those planned by the NGOs, which should then be destined for other European ports.”

Earlier this month, another German NGO, Sea-Watch, complained that Italian authorities were taking too long to transfer migrants from their vessel.

“We insist that it should not take eight to ten days before a ship, which rescues people at sea, to reach a port,” Giorgia Linardi, a spokeswoman for the NGO, said.

In the midst of a pandemic that has caused the deaths of nearly 30,000 of its people, the Spanish government is pushing ahead with a bill to advance euthanasia. The “right to die”, initially considered by the Congress last February, has just managed to overcome two amendments presented by the Popular Party and by Vox.

Vox MP, María Ruiz Solás, accused the Socialists of betting “once again on death rather than on the defense of life. This is what they have always done. They did so with the abortion law and with the elderly in nursing homes in the hardest moments of the pandemic when it was preferred to sedate them with morphine instead of taking them to intensive care to try to save their lives”.

Alejandro Macarron Larumbe, essayist, demographic expert and director of the Fundación Renacimiento Demográfico, in a conversation we had, pointed out the paradox of a country with the lowest birth rate in Europe betting on the end of life, rather than on new lives:

“It’s incomprehensible. The obsession in favor of euthanasia would have only one logical, profoundly anti-humanist explanation: that the state saves on pensions and medical care for the elderly. On the other hand, not investing in life, in a Spain and in a Europe that are dying little by little from lack of births, is a betrayal of our nations and our ancestors”.

Without net immigration, the population of Spain would go from 47 to 23 million in two generations. “These figures are similar to 18th century Spain in terms of births” explained me Macarron Larumbe. “And they’re even worse than the Civil War birth rates. In 1939, 422,000 children were born in a desolate Spain with twenty million fewer inhabitants. This year there will be 359,000. Collectively, we do not have the moral right to seriously deteriorate the social heritage we receive from our ancestors. But this will have a price: we will pay very dearly for the decline of our societies.”

Brague said it all: “The death that threatens us today in the form of a pandemic is the same death with which Europe, with its demographics in freefall, has been flirting for a long time”.

This European obsession with death, to end connection with life, to “die with dignity”, to legislate in every aspect the self-destruction of an individual (one’s sex, one’s identity, one’s religion, one’s family and now one’s own death) indicates a lethal impulse that underlies the soul of our societies.

In the course of an investigation of an accident in the street Lammstraße in Pforzheim a policeman was slightly injured on Saturday afternoon.

According to the police, an uninvolved 18-year-old Turk approached the officers of the traffic police inspection and the Pforzheim-North district, who were just recording an accident, at about 5:10 p.m.

The man failed to keep the minimum distance that was required at times of the Corona pandemic and disturbed the police officers’ duties by heckling. He ignored instructions from the officers. When they tried to establish the man’s identity, the 18-year-old became increasingly aggressive and once again came too close to the police. According to the police press release, the man hit the arm of the policeman when an officer tried to keep him at a distance.

In the meantime, three other passers-by showed solidarity with the 18-year-old and insulted the officials. In addition, according to the police, more than 30 onlookers gathered, who also expressed sympathy with the aggressive man.

The police were only able to calm the aggressive mood with a squad of seven patrol cars and 14 officers.

Republicans and Democrats have a fundamental disagreement about the upcoming presidential election.

Republicans believe that it should be determined on Election Day, just as it is every year, while Democrats want to drag it out until their election officials find enough ballots to seal the deal with the Harris-Biden camp. And so they’re talking about Election Week. Or maybe Election Month and Election Year.

This is not how the American political system works.

Nevertheless the media and Big Tech firms are aligned on suppressing Republican statements of victory on Election Day. And Nick Clegg is in charge of Facebook’s response.

Facebook has said it will take aggressive and exceptional measures to “restrict the circulation of content” on its platform if November’s presidential election descends into chaos or violent civic unrest.

Like nationwide riots? A bit late for that isn’t it. And Facebook has taken some Antifa groups down, but it hasn’t touched the third rail of politics, Black Lives Matter.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Nick Clegg, the company’s head of global affairs, said it had drawn up plans for how to handle a range of outcomes, including widespread civic unrest or “the political dilemmas” of having in-person votes counted more rapidly than mail-in ballots, which will play a larger role in this election due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On Monday, the Hauts-de-Seine Court sentenced a 50-year-old Algerian male who used to work as a nurse in the American Hospital of Neuilly-sur-Seine, to 14 years in prison for raping a patient under psychotropic treatment in February 2018. The woman was reportedly stunned with drugs at the time of the attack.

The convicted man, Mohamed A., who started working at the Neuilly hospital in 2006, had already been sentenced in 2012 for “sexual assault on a vulnerable person”.

The sentence, which is slightly less severe than the public prosecutor had demanded, also bans the perpetrator from participating in any medical and paramedical profession for five years and contains an injunction for treatment.

Sylvie Noachovitch, the lawyer for the victim, described the accused man as a “predator”, adding that “if tomorrow he is outside, he will start again.”

When assessing the mental health of the perpetrator, experts detected no mental pathology, but a strong need for “reassurance about his virility”.

The victim has been severely affected by the incident, is “unable to work” and has since developed a “phobia” of the medical world.

The Algerian originally wanted to become an architect but ended up studying nursing in Algeria.

During his time in custody, Mohamed A. first denied everything, before changing his statement as the DNA samples taken in the room of the American hospital provided enough evidence of his guilt. Later, he admitted that he did have sexual intercourse with the victim, but claimed it was consensual.
