Facebook to delete German human rights activist engaged in the fight against Islamists
Once again, “Facebook” is in court because it deletes posts rigidly. FB user Tobias Huch (39) is fighting back against this and took “Facebook Ireland Limited” to the regional court on Thursday.
Huch is a renowned human rights activist, journalist and book author. He informs people about the dangers of IS and volunteers in humanitarian aid for Kurdish refugees.But this human rights activist, of all people, accuses Facebook of supporting IS on its Instagram service: They deleted four posts with photos showing, among others, armed men. Huch was publishing his work as a war correspondent, and Facebook threatened to block his Instagram account! Reason: “Your post violated our community standards.”Huch: “Unbelievable that they claim I would support the IS.” The judge: “The photos are at least ambiguous. Political insiders know what you want to show. Others see in the footage only a terrorist organisation. Armed men cheering. At first glance you don’t see what is meant.”Facebook’s censorship is unacceptable to lawyer Joachim Steinhöfel (58), who represents Huch in court and is paid by the donor-financed fund “Freedom of Expression on the Net”: “It’s terrible what that would mean for freedom of expression and freedom of the press if the deletion were to be upheld!”
He wants to enforce stricter rules for Facebook and applied for an injunction. His demand in it: The photos should be shown again and deleting them again should be prohibited.
The court decided to adjourn and announce its decision on February the 18th.

It was supposed to be a long-planned arrest, but the police operation ended in disaster!
Since Friday, January the 29th, Mahmut H. has been on trial before the Hamburg Regional Court. The 29-year-old German, who according to the public prosecutor’s office was wanted on three arrest warrants, is alleged to have injured a police officer (57) so severely during his arrest in February 2020 that he died a few days later in hospital. The charge is bodily harm causing death.Police investigators from Itzehoe had wanted to arrest Mahmut H. in the Hamburg district of Lurup on February the 25th 2020: The wanted man had shortly before advertised a vehicle on Ebay classified ads, arranged to meet the police investigators, who pretended to be interested buyers, at a bus stop on Lurup Hauptstraße.
Then police started to arrest him: One of the officers jumped into Mahmut H.’s car through the open passenger door, and a scuffle started.
Meanwhile, the 29-year-old accelerated, turned his VW luxury limousine Phaeton across the four-lane street Lurup Hauptstraße and collided head-on with the BMW of a Hamburg special investigator from State Criminal Police Office 23, pushing the vehicle twelve metres across the road.
The 57-year-old police chief inspector of the State Criminal Police Office, Klaus-Ulrich H., who was sitting in the BMW, was so seriously injured that he died eight days later in hospital. His colleague suffered minor injuries.
Mahmut H. had already committed his first offence at the age of 14. In 2017, he was sentenced to nine months in prison for assault, forgery and driving without a licence. Today he has a total of 14 previous convictions.
According to the police, he was uninjured in the crash.
According to a court spokesperson, it will have to be clarified in the course of the trial exactly how the collision occurred.
In court, the accused affirms: “I thought it was a robbery. The prospective buyers came closer, suddenly a man jumped frantically into the car. He attacked me in a jump without saying anything. I thought I was in a bad film. I don’t know why I took the turn.”
When asked by the judge if the police officers had not identified themselves, the accused only said: “No, not that I know of.”
After the incident, the Hamburg police reported that Mahmut H. had continued to accelerate after the collision and had pushed the civilian police car even further in front of him.
The death of the officer had caused great consternation among the Hamburg police.
The trial will continue.

German Catholic dioceses fund another ‘Sea-Eye’ migrant taxi
Three Catholic dioceses have promised the migrant aid organization Sea-Eye that they will provide 125 000 euros for another ship. The association based in Regensburg announced the news on Thursday that the archbishopric of Munich and Freising as well as Paderborn and the diocese of Trier would be contributing.
The money will be used to finance the transfer of the Sea-Eye 4to the Mediterranean in the spring. “The donations from the Catholic dioceses of Munich and Freising, Paderborn and Trier enable us to send the Sea-Eye 4 to the operational area immediately after the shipyard work”, said the association’s chairman Gorden Isler. “Thanks to the tailwind from the Catholic dioceses, Sea-Eye and United4Rescue have the opportunity to use future donations for the shipyard and operational costs. We are very grateful.”
Last year, with the support of the United4Rescue alliance, Sea-Eye bought a former supply ship that has since been converted to accommodate migrants in the Mediterranean. United4Resue is largely supported by the Evangelical Church in Germany.
“The Sea-Eye 4 could then start its first mission in March or April,” it said. Unlike the Alan Kurdi, which is also operated by Sea-Eye and is registered as a Hamburg ship, the Sea-Eye 4 will have Regensburg as its home port.

BREAKING: Government Agent Whose Altered Email Enabled the Russia Hoax Won’t Spend a Day in Jail or Pay Any Fine
The Russia hoax undermined a duly elected president and continues to divide the nation. But one of the key figures who abused the trust of the people will not face prison time, reports Fox News.
Former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith was sentenced to 12 months probation and 400 hours of community service Friday after pleading guilty to making a false statement in the first criminal case arising from Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia probe.
That false statement had major consequences. The altered email cast suspicion on Page and thereby Trump, and created a false justification to wiretap Page.
The judge noted all the bad outcomes Clinesmith endures as consequences of the actions he knowingly took.
“[He] lost his job, and his government service is what has given his life much of its meaning,” Boasberg said Friday. “He was also earning $150,000 a year and who knows where the earnings go now. He may be disbarred or suspended from the practice of law, you may never be able to work in the national security field again. These are substantial penalties.”
Boasberg added: “What is more, he went from being an obscure career government lawyer to standing in the eye of a media hurricane. He has been threatened, vilified and abused on a nationwide scale.”
Well, as is all too typical of government employees, he was overpaid.
What about the abuse of trust, the destruction of the FBI’s reputation, undermining the FISA court system, and the Russia hoax Clinesmith enabled and which still infects millions of American minds to this day?
“Altering the email has forever changed the course of my life,” Clinesmith said. “I have lost the means to provide for my growing family…lost the ability to give back to my nation… the shame and remorse will stay with me forever.”
The Trump presidency was not allowed to get off to anything like a normal start and was undermined by this case for most of its four years. Trump never truly overcame it despite being exonerated by the Mueller report, which found no American anywhere colluded with the Russians to impact the 2016 election.
Politico reports the prosecutors wanted Clinesmith to spend time in jail.
While prosecutors urged the judge to send Clinesmith to prison to send a message to others in government not to try something similar, Boasberg said he believed that message had already been sent.
Another message has been sent. Clinesmith will be the only Russia hoax figure prosecuted and he need not worry. Some left-wing foundation will give him a do-nothing job before long. Or CNN or MSNBC will give him an on-air analyst role.
