The 38-year-old husband of the woman, also a Pakistani citizen, is in custody due to the risk of escape. During interrogation, he refused to testify. The 38-year-old had made no statement regarding the death of his wife.She had been found dead in her apartment in Vierschach on Thursday morning. She showed symptoms of physical violence. The exact cause of death will be clarified by an autopsy in the coming days. A forensic doctor, however, assumed that she had suffocated to death.
