On the 5th of December 2019 a 16-year-old girl was raped in a ditch on the street Auf der Alm in Möhnesee. The victim said it was a foreigner. The district police authority Soest reported in a press release that an 18-year-old Algerian citizen could now be identified as a suspect. The responsible local court issued a detention order against him on Thursday.
