The day before yesterday there was an attempted homicide between an 22-year-old Algerian citizen and a 22-year-old Moroccan citizen around 10 p.m. in an apartment on Unnaer Street in Dortmund. In the course of the dispute, the accused from Algeria stabbed his counterpart several times. He was fatally injured by the stabs on his upper body.After an emergency surgery has already been performed, the injured person is currently no longer in acute danger of death. The exact background to the crime is the subject of further investigations. Today, in accordance with an application filed by the public prosecutor’s office in Dortmund, the magistrate at the district court in Dortmund issued an arrest warrant against the accused for attempted manslaughter.
