Last Saturday evening, a 23-year-old man caused a stir in a Nuremberg downtown pub due to his behavior. Finally, officers of the downtown police came and arrested him. Shortly before 10 p.m., the young man was noticed in the outside area of the Luitpoldstraße restaurant for his threatening behavior. He sat at a table, had a hatchet with him and threatened to “slash everyone”. At the same time he yelled “Allahu Akbar”.A witness drew the attention to the facts of the case to a patrol patrol car accidentally driving nearby.  The officers spotted the man shortly afterwards inside the restaurant. He had left his hatchet on the chair of the outdoor area. He made both a drunken and a confused impression. He resisted the subsequent arrest; finally, forced detention had to be used. An alcohol test carried out in the office showed a value of more than 1.8 per mille. There were also signs of drug intoxication. Since he also showed signs of mental disorder, he had to be admitted to a clinic.
