A 17-year-old Syrian was arrested this Sunday morning in the Copa Beach area of Vienna’s Donaustadt district after stabbing a 19-year-old man in the back with a knife. The argument took place at 5.00 a.m., the suspect and the stabbed man are both Syrian citizens. It is still unclear why the 17-year-old had stabbed him. The 17-year-old had fled after the crime, but was picked up by the police a short time later. The injured man – there was no danger to his life – was taken to a hospital by the ambulance.
