The exact background to a dispute in the course of this Tuesday afternoon has not yet been conclusively clarified. It has been established so far that a 72-year-old cyclist got into a dispute with a still unknown man around 4.25 p.m. in the area of the eastern Kinzig dam between Steinach and Biberach. In the course of the dispute, the unknown man allegedly injured his opponent with a knife and then fled on a dark bicycle towards Steinach. The 72-year-old later had to be treated in a local hospital. A police helicopter was temporarily deployed to search for the suspect. It is currently known that the unknown attacker is about 175 centimeters tall and athletic. He would also have had a dark complexion.
