

On the last early Sunday morning a stranger, probably with sexual motives, attacked a young woman in the street Am Weingarten, intersection Sophien street in the Frankfurt district of Bockenheim and robbed her afterwards. The police are asking for information from the public. Around 5:20 a.m. the 22-year-old got off the subway at the “Leipziger Straße” stop.So did the man who was unknown to her. Shortly after leaving the station he approached the young woman, who told him to leave her alone. The stranger, however, did not let this deter him and followed her on the street Am Weingarten to the crossroads Sophien street, where he tore her to the ground and began to pull her clothes, respectively to take them off.The 22-year-old was injured in the assault on her head and lost consciousness for a short time. When she regained consciousness, the man had let her go and fled with her mobile phone and two gold necklaces. The suspect can be described as follows: male, 165 cm to 170 cm tall, presumably younger than 30 years, narrow stature, slightly darker complexion, dark short hair, dark eyes, facial tattoo on cheek or temple. He is said to have been dressed in yellow outerwear and jeans. Since the personal details of the suspect have not yet been determined, the police are asking for information from the population.
