In the time between Saturday, 6 p.m., and Sunday, 10.30 a.m., several property damages were committed along the connecting path between Malberg, Hill street, and Mohrweiler, Höhen street.Unknown persons tore several benches from their bracing. A traffic sign was ripped from the ground and a switchboard box was knocked over. A sandstone wayside cross was knocked over with massive force, causing considerable damage (photo above). In addition, the perpetrators left behind a large number of empty beverage cans and other rubbish. Information is to be requested by the Bitburg police, call 06561 / 9685-0.
